So sometimes, it might be a little predictable or "mainstream" to say that the first or last episode(s)/arc of a series is the best one, but..... Come the hell on! Siege of Mandalore deserves to have a film-length cut *and* theatrical release to beautifully bookend the series, which was kicked off by a theatrically-released movie. And yes, I know why it didn't get a theatrical release: Season 7 came out right at the beginning of the pandemic, but now that it's well and truly over, I would absolutely watch it in theaters!

@@kennyplop Yes, the cut didn't actually go through her leg the animators made a mistake. Her leg was supposed to block view of Maul's blade and they just didn't notice and showed it on the wrong side of her.
I love how at the end Maul says "you don't know what you're doing" implying that he was the lesser of the great evils, and that maybe if they allowed him to rule mandalore he would've even contributed to defeating the emperor.

Jango Fett was born in Mandalore sector and in the creed as well, so technically it's a yes and no. The Mandalorian got decreased since after the Mandalorian War back before the Old Republic era
Here we show the mando's warrior ways getting them in trouble multiple times. Once for letting deathwatch in control, once for letting Maul in control, and the last time for getting their planet bombed.
That particular fight we saw here was actually motion captured. So it wasn't just pure animation in the works. That's why it felt satisfying to watch their duel!
Man with all experience this guys got they should really make remasters of those all episodes. Just imagine all those old seasons ps3 battles turn into RTX masterpieces

Hopefully, the Kenobi series will go on to a 2nd season and Hayden can have more opportunities to play his character. Maybe in a spin-off show or in crossover moments in other Star Wars series. Ewan Mcgregor and Hayden still have great chemistry together and are both great actors. The Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been a mixed bag for me with some really great moments of acting and visuals but it also has had some poor editing and direction as well as some poor dialogue by the writers of the show. I'm enjoying it though. I've heard that if the Kenobi series does go on into a 2nd season Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni in consultation with George Lucas will be brought in to steer the show forward. Fingers crossed. There is a lot of great potential for this series in a 2nd season if you focus on Anakin (Vadar) and Obi-Wan's relationship. I see a Hayden interview I love Hayden’s praise on Clone Wars. I need him to get a Darth Vader spin-off. That splits the timelines with a prime Darth Vader after the Kenobi events and then flashbacks to Anakin in the Clone Wars. Because I feel Vader and Anakin have not explored enough live-action in those timelines. Honestly, the show isn't as good as I expected but I love him and Ewan McGregor too. Hayden Christensen joins us in a discussion about returning to the Star Wars world, watching the Clone Wars, and taming the beast that is Darth Vader's suit and talks about Clone Wars.
The siege of mandalore was one of the most intense battles in the end of the clone wars bc it had an epic team up: Bo Katans mandalorians and ahoska’s clone forces along with Rex vs darth maul and gar Saxon’s super commandos and the battle was fought all over the capital from docks to the palace and throne room and the skies and I’m surprised they even bought AT-TEs to help shoot down the rocket commandos and even though the clones didn’t know how to go hand to hand combat with the super mandolorians they still went toe to toe with them even though they would suffer heavy casualties but as soon as Bo and her troops came to reinforce rex and his men everything turned to their favor making the outcome of this battle a republic backed mandalorian victory over the sith backed mandalorians.
I felt so anxious during this entire battle because I was waiting for when Order 66 was going to happen. I knew it was coming, I knew the clones would turn on Ahsoka, but I didn't know when. 😅

To be honest but the Siege of Mandalore arc disappointed me. First of all this was a Arc for dummies while the Novel kept the Order 66 event on Mandalore
Having read the Ahsoka novel, I think the TCW version makes sense because Rex realistically wouldn't have already removed the chip. And the finale ends up in the same place as the novel before she goes into hiding; Ahsoka and Rex fake their deaths and she leaves her lightsabers behind. That being said though, I wish we did get to see it play out like it did in the novel, because Maul trapped in a ray shield would've just been cool to see. And seeing how Rex react to Order 66 being issued would've been heartbreaking and awesome.

Maul vs Ashoka duel is definitely one of the better saber fights in all of Star Wars. The fact it was mocapped makes it such a smooth fight to watch.
