C'mon, it's impossible to fit the entire "Alabasta Saga" + "Logue Town" just in 8 episodes. It had to be at least 10 or 12 eps, right?
I'd say you'd need a whole season to set up Alabasta. With Logue Town, Reverse Mountain and Laboon, Little Garden and Drum Kingdom landing at Alabasta should be kept for the last few minutes of the season. I'm afraid they set themselves up for failure if they want to jam all of it in 8 episode and given the quality of the show that would be a damn shame.
Not impossible if they do it in season 1 format it can fit..plus they should include iconic scenes
I think it’s possible, since the anime has a lot of time spent on going back to some scenes of previous facts. Making it less repetitive, and cutting of some of the “filler stories” (my English is not helping me here) they can do something like:
1- Logue Town
2- Drum Island
3- Dinossaur island
4 until 8 - alabasta
Is there something in between im forgetting? Idk, with 4 1h eps I think they can cover the alabasta main storyline
My prediction is 10 episodes
1. Loguetown arc
2. Reverse mountain and Whisky peak arcs
No episodes for Koby and Hermep arc since we already saw them a lot in season 1
3. Little Garden
4 and 5. Drum Island (2 episodes because this arc is approximatively long as Arlong Park)
6 to 10. Alabasta (the second half of the season)
Or not doing Alabasta. Nothing confirmed that we were gonna have Alabasta in season 2. All the hints we have so far indicates more that Alabasta is gonna be for a s3
It's possible they may split the arc, like s2 will be loguetown to drum Kingdom, and then alabasta will be s3. Unless there's evidence to the contrary. But from the barque members they're casting for, I have a feeling it might be split.
That would be the smart way to handle it. Alabasta should be season 3, ending with Jaya leading up to Skypea in season 4.
S1 east blue saga: 8 eps
S2 : alabasta saga : 12 eps
S3 : sky island saga : 8 eps
S4 : water seven saga : 12 eps
S5 : thriller bark saga : 8 eps
S6 : summit war saga : 15 eps
I would say that, Lougetown will be its own episode, Reverse Mountain and Whisky peak will be its own episode. Little garden could be one episode or maybe two. Same with Drum island. And the rest of the episodes be about Alabastsa. And I think that the end of season won't end with the reavle that Robin was on the going merry, but end with the farewell scean with the straw hats sailing into the sunset.
Coincidence? Is this why Oda recently brought back miss golden week in this week's chapter 1115?
I noticed that too omg lol
I wonder, if any actors from the 1st season and later, are gona play some other characters in the future?
I feel like if any character in One Piece would be perfect for Jenna Ortega to play as, it would be Perona and not Ms. Goldenweek. Hell, Ortega even looks like Perona a lot too.
Logue Town, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, Drum Island, Alabasta. If they worth 1 episode each, Alabasta might get 3 episodes. Which I think not enough to cover.
Oh no just 8 episodes they’re can’t not skip setup’s roger execution starts next saga especially big arc characters moments that be wasted for rewatched
Were you even watching the video? He said it’s not confirmed how many episodes there will be in season 2.
Hell nooooooo i swear i thought they said 10 episodes not 8 whats going on 😭😭😭😭
Aye don't worry it's not confirmed
Little Garden could have skipped that arc imo. Alabasta is a lot to cover be hard to fit everything in 10 episodes let alone 8.. since when covering little garden I can see season 2 ending on drum island. And season 3 covering alabasta.
@@djfusionkotbif they don’t get to alabasta I can see ALOT of ppl getting mad
@@djfusionkotbLittle Garden is confirmed. Alabasta is 50% of the second saga so they might do 3 or 4 episodes. It would be an immense mistake not to cover it because everyone expects it and season 2 would be boring. Still it's not confirmed yet. We shall see
Owens said that they will *try* to do 10 ep, but netflix policy is 8 per season (this change made the team cut Loguetown from s1)
8 episodes is ABYSMAL T_T mainly because 2 episodes minimun is going to be them just GOING to the grandline and 6 episodes is Whiskey peak ALL the way to Alabasta? No, that sounds awful. BUT they might beat my expectations and pull off the impossible
There has to be LogueTown, too mich importnant. ANd Buggy and Alvida will play a role at the start of second seasson
If they don’t play “From the New World” during the final fight with Croc (if they manage to fit it in there) then I’m going to be kind of disappointed.
Expect to see baroque in episode 3..and crocodile in episode 4..samw format in season 1 should be awesome..they can wrap it up with x mark farewell to vivi in last scene on epiaode 8
the budget would hate Jena Ortega
I really dount Netflix didnt approve for a 10 episode season 2. They do that with all of their successful shows and One Piece has been one of the most successful. But assuming it is 8 episodes:
1.Lougetown
2.Reverse Mountain &Whiskey Peak
3. Little Garden
4.5 Drum Island(ends halfway thru 5)
5.5-8 Alabasta(2nd half of 5 thru 8)
If it's 10:
1.lougetown
2-3.5Reverse Mountain &
Whiskey Peak
3.5-5 Little Garden
5-6 Drum Island
7-10 Alabasta
❤❤❤❤❤
I was thinking 8 episodes is too few. But think about it:
1. ep: La Boom
2. ep: Whisky Peak
3. ep: Little Garden
4. ep: Drum Island
There would be 4 episodes, half of the season, left for Alabasta and Logue Town, before and after these 4. That might work! Remember that Alabasta has a whole bunch of filler episodes in the Anime. We are used to mega long arcs in One Piece because we have all seen Dressrosa and Wano. But Alabasta is in comparison still a pretty short arc. In the manga Romance Dawn spans from chapter 1 to ch 100. Alabasta and the build up to it spans from ch 101 to 217. Alabasta is just 17% longer than Romance Dawn. Also Karou will probably not be in the life action. I love Karou, but he is not an important character for the overall story and he would be really expensive to animate. So without all scenes that feature Karou Alabasta is about as long as Romance Dawn.
I was very sceptical about season 1 from the start. And I was sure, its gonna be s**t when I heard its just 8 episoden. When season 1 finally dropped I cried tears of joy. I watched the 1st season 3 times in 2 weeks. - Im confident season 2 will be as good as season 1. Oda is still there to ensure the quality. When Oda gives a thumbs up on an 8 episodes season 2, it will be good!!
1 episode for loguetown
1 for reverse mountain
1 for whiskey peak
2 for little garden
2 for drum kingdom
4 episodes for alabasta
So eleven total
Unless they intend to do two long episodes for drum island and little garden and then 3 for Alabasta
So it could be 8 episodes but eleven hours running time like what they did to stranger things
1 ep - log ( smoker will chase luffy but interrupted by dragon
1 ep - reverse ( laboon)
1 ep -whisky ( vivi and croc will be introduce here)
1 and half ep -little (mr 3. Introduced here)
1 and half ep - drum - (chopper)
2 ep alabasta (robin and , ace introduced ..baroque works top agent vs strawhat..liffy defeats crocodile.. final marine boss smoker and ace will save luffy from him just like roger saved luffy from garp in season 1...all strawhat wanted poster will be shown...final scene x mark farewell to vivi [ in season 1 barrel oath]....some of my theories is out of the original but it make sense for it to wrap up with an impact
8 episodes? jaygame is that confirmed or no.
non not confirmed but it was in the casting call
Robin is gonna be a russian girl and taller too
Not from what the casting call is saying, she’s gonna be Latina
@@JayGame nice one 😂 haha
You have to have 10 it won’t fly. Albasta can’t be the start of season 3 it throws off entire adventure.
Yes wholeheartedly agree.. The Arc before Alabasta does not have great closure.. It can't even be counted as a decent finale for a season. What? Defeating Wapol?
People hyping Arabasta being long way too much, half of the Arc is just walking to reach destination and fighting local animals.
S1 has 95 chapters and S2 is similar in length, it's pretty easy to add Loguetown and 8 Ep to the bunch.
8 episodes nooo. They have way too much to cover
They have as much as in season 1. I though it was a bit short but they did it so we shall see before complaining
It’s not even confirmed so relax.
@@Vin-xj7mkno they not the same they covered 95 chapters in season one and they rushed arlong park
Season 2 is 120 chapters so if they going the same rate it should be 10 episodes
Alabasta alone is 60 chapters no matter how you cut of it it need at least 4 hours or it would be shitty
The way I would do it is Logue Town, Reverse Mountain, Little Garden and Drum in season 2 ending with them landing in Alabasta. And even that is cutting it very close. Season 3 could be Alabasta and Jaya. Then season 4 could be Skypea and Water Seven, and so on. Basically 2 arcs per season seems doable.
8 Episodes will never work, fuck the Netflix format, 10 or 12 Episodes is better
We will see lol
They should skip Laboon, Little Garden, Drum Kingdom. No one need this .....
Not skip, fix... It's a good arc without goofy villains and their overstretched screen time.
They did a good job on Buggy, originally it was pretty boring and long ass fight scenes but they just make it one episode and it turns out great.
Laboon is already made anyway so skip is out of the question.
@@riardomilos8014 but One Piece is also about goofiness what's wrong with that? you can't stand a joke? I feel like well Live Action for people like you who dont want any side characters and every pirate crew you only face their captain not their crewmate
