With how much conviction Arlong's actor delivered in his performance it was SURREAL to hear him softly giggle about the long nose getting caught in the dude's hair.
It seems to me that this hair moment is quite in the spirit of this character lol

(pushes nerd glasses up) well, ackshually.... he did complain about eating too much once. During his battle against Charlotte Cracker, whose Devil Fruit makes him create near infinite warriors made of biscuit, Luffy had to eat every single one of them for 12 hours straight, to the point he wasnt able to anymore. Nami was there to urge him to keep eating so Cracker couldnt attack with his biscuit warriors.

I know they were planned but I loved when Pixar used to have "bloopers" at the end of their films. Films should have blooper reals during the credits more often.
I miss the old DvD store's, movies use to have special features and bloopers back then😩
I miss how you use to get blooper reals when you bought DVDs. Also interesting to realize when versions with cut scenes were played on tv but were only in the extras section on DVDs, like with my old Harry Potter DVD set

Uh… Have you read/watched Original One Piece closely? Nami cares A LOT about Luffy, at least post-Arlong Arc
While she tries to hide it, Nami is the most loyal Straw Hat after Zoro, girl was literally willing to die instead of saying "Luffy will never become Pirate King" -- she ended up saying "Luffy will never GIVE UP UNTIL becoming Pirate King" (the change was apparently way more subtle in the original Japanese but that is difficult a.f. to translate)

I wish people did this more, I miss the times when producers like Disney and Warner bros would put bloopers in the end of their films/series. It just makes it feel more realistic and passionate.

How does watching a blooper reel make a movie feel more "realistic" when they literally show actors breaking character. It would have a completely opposite effect, and this is one of the major reasons why many directors choose not to include blooper reels at the end of their movies nowadays. They want to preserve the intended impact of their films and prevent distractions.

You can tell from the final product that not a lot of joy goes into those things these days.

The casting is seriously so good, their acting really uplifts the series. And their bonding off-screen is so wholesome. One Piece is really really hard to adapt in Live-Action, but with a cast like this, I want this series to go on for at least 8 seasons, even if they skip some of the storylines.
For real! I was so sceptical. Now I'm looking forward to Season 2!
@@Danne89 I wonder if it was BECAUSE everyone knew One Piece would be nearly impossible to adapt to LA that the showrunners (prodded by Oda-sensei of course) decided to genuinely give a sh!t. I don't think anyone thought OPLA would be good, me included, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out so I'm also looking forward to Season 2. The casting has been on-point so far -- hoping that stays true for my girl Robin!

This show is a piece of art. It is probably one of the greatest live action adaptations of any anime, cartoon, novel or biography ever. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Never read the manga or watched the original anime, but I am now a fan of One Piece. Ordering a Luffy t shirt immediately! Can’t wait for Season 2. Beautiful stuff
