Loving all your summer content because where I live is pretty much summer (humid) all year round & I’m just tired of tying & bunning up my curly hair all the time
my daughter has super curly hair and i’m trying so hard to help her keep it frizz free and i’m honestly so lost on how to style or do anything to her hair.. so i’m taking notes! love your videos! thank you for showing us what you use and works for you!!
Hi, Julissa. I’m a long-time watcher of your videos and I love your channel. It’s so great to see a Dominican girl doing these videos on YT. I get so excited everytime you show off your tubi!
I like styling my hair at night too it makes it so I can sleep in the next day and I don’t have to worry about styling it or I can just do a little bit of touching up
Great video. Enjoy your honest opinions and personality. Thanks for providing content for us curly, frizzy hair people! If you had to use only two of the smoothing products you added to your hair, which two would it be?
Are you still liking the Dyson airstrait or changing your feelings about it? Can you use that as you blow dryer and then go over it with the same straight iron for the hood and ends?
Dooonnnn’t! It is so bad for your hair. I have friends who used to have full, thick, beautiful hair, until they started doing that to their manes. If you really want hair that defies frizz, henna your hair (if you have dark hair and don’t plan on coloring it). If you have light hair, or want to be able to color it, then go with Cassia Obovata, or neutral henna as it is known. The reason for that is, regular henna has a red pigment molecule which fuses with the keratin of your hair and it is permanent, so if you have A. Light hair, it will turn it red and it will be permanent. B. If you have dark hair but would like the option to change the color, you won’t be able to do it either. Cassia or neutral henna has a yellow molecule that sits at the surface of the hair and that washes out in about 4-6 weeks, but will still give you the benefits of red henna which include frizz control, conditioning, sun protection, hair growth and strength. It just won’t be permanent as the red henna, so you’ll have to keep on doing it. The more you do either one, the more frizz free your hair will become. Take into consideration that red henna can really loosen up your curl pattern. Mine got so straight that I could dry it with a fan and it would dry straight 😂, no joke. My hair is as curly and as frizzy as Julissa’s, except my hair texture is fine and very soft. So when I tell you it can loosen curl pattern, it can! That’s because I kept applying the henna over all my hair, instead of just doing the new growth. I also applied it when my hair was blown out straight, and that contributes to locking in that straight shape. So if you wanna keep your curls, apply to hair while it’s curly, and do full henna treatments to new growth only, and refresh the rest of the henna with henna glosses (henna mixed with conditioner. However, I just remembered your question was about keratin, so you probably want your hair to straighten out. If that’s the case, do henna treatments 1-2 times a week, to your entire head, until you achieve the amount of straight you want. Always deep conditioning after a henna treatment to avoid dryness. And if you wanna go all out, buy Salerm Vegetable placenta hair ampoules. You can find them on Amazon. Each pack brings 4, but depending on hair thickness you can get more than one use out of each one. Apply contents to your hair. They are totally liquid so no stickiness. Then, if your hair is fine, use Redken Big blow out jelly. That stuff is that bomb. Not only does it protect from heat, but also keeps hair frizz free with a ton of body. Those two leave in products combined, will keep your hair frizz free even when it rains. If your hair is coarse, you need something heavier, like Redken Frizz Dismiss leave in cream always after putting in a good spray leave in such as the Salerm, or Purology Color Fanatic. Try it, you won’t be sorry.
lol ,I do the same for my curly hair ;my kids say the I look crazy lol . In Cuba 🇨🇺 we called torniquete !!! Is the best to maintain your blowout for days ;I just switched the hair every night or day o the left and the next night to the right. Btw your hair looks amazing!!
hi julissa ! This is definitely my favourite blow out that you did so far! Can you do a video using the Revlon diffuser? I am looking for a cheaper option. Can you do a curly hair routine with cheeper options? Thank you!
Julissa what hair net is that? I got one from Amazon and it sucked. I do it all the time no shame lol. Your hair came out beautiful. I use Bobby pins and they hurt.
Hi Julissa!!! I love your videos, you’re absolutely beautiful ❤ I thought you shouldn’t use any products on your hair BEFORE dream works?! Have you found it makes any difference one way or another? 😊
You are so sweet and beautiful! I would like to know what shampoo and conditioner and or hair mask did you use? I’m sure you have a few in rotation, besides what you used for this this style what are your favorite go to’s? Moisturizing shampoo and conditioners along with hair masks and do you use a favorite clarifying shampoo as well? Sorry for the questions but it really helps to know the very beginning process/prep before the styling products… at least for me because I have natural curly hair that goes to the middle of my back/bra and prefer to where it straight as well. I’ve been struggling to find well balanced moisturizing shampoo and conditioners with spray in conditioners that do not contain a lot or NO protein. I do not want any hair bond/repair products because I have those and will continue to use them but I need to rotate. Thank you so very much! ❤❤❤❤
¡Gracias mil!

Yes! Will do that! 🥰 I only tried it on it’s own and my hair got pretty frizzy but I’m sure with the GHD Max, it will look way better! ❤
@@JulissaGuillen hold. Not hood 😂. Thanks!
Hey Julissa, Thanks for detailing your routine here for the summers! I had a question what are your thoughts on keratin treatment?
