- North Korea has reportedly launched an intermediate-range ballistic missile over northern Japan.

As an American, I know that my nation and NATO allies have enough defenses to thwart a Nuclear Attack but I fear for the safety of our Eastern Allies.
And NATO support's zelensky nuclear attack to the Russia, Lol
As a Chinese, I know that my leadership would do everything to maintain peace. But I fear the nationalistic sentiment would force the government to respond to constant US provocations.

It will keep eroding its One China Policy until China is forced to declare war to reunite Taiwan / let it be annexed. Either way, US will destabilize the region enough to get Korea, Japan and Taiwan to buy its weapons. War is almost inevitable. The only question is whether US would send regular troops or just special units like in Ukraine. US homeland should be safe from the proxy war but lots of Chinese would die.

I was in Tokyo there with my family just for 5 days, we we're just some tourists there, that day we went to cafe to eat and thats pretty much, suddenly we all hear siren, we didn't understand anything because we didn't speak japanese or english, me and my brother knew english so we asked one guy whats happening, gladly he could speak english, we asked then he said follow me then me and my bro with my family followed him to a shelter then he started to explain. Very dangerous times i've had there.

I was wondering... this is not tolerable. The missile actually flew over Japan. The trajectory was a huge infraction. Would that be OK if it happened over your country? I think not. I've seen wars starting for far less.
As least the missiles from N. Korea did not malfunction. S. Korea airbase got hit by its own missile during a drill with US. Imagine it fell into some other countries.
Japan considers it an act of aggression, if Japan stilt had their military, they'd probably go to war over this.

Japan doesn't deserve this nonsense. Japan is a peaceful country. It;s only concern is keeping the peace and protecting itslf and their region with allies. All of which far prefer peace and want to be left in peace to live their lives. NK should focus on feeding it's people.That[s what manly me do. They don;t go looking for fights where their is none. They shoulder responsibilities like feeding their families and community. Whoops. Not the greatest example of family...maybe that's part of the problem. First you have to actually care.
Perhaps it is the US that should stop threatening DPRK with regime change via military and economic sanctions. Let DPRK live in peace. We should focus on ourselves. We have 1 million COVID deaths, 100K drug overdoses, largest mass incarceration on earth, declining life expectancy, etc.

Imagine if Kim Jong-um decides he wants to unite Korea, he just send ALL his nuclear warheads to Japan and leave South Korea alone. Sure we can expect North Korea to be wiped out but South Koreans will live on. Japan on the other hand will be completely devastated and unhabitated. They could be just those sugar or kerosene rockets that hobby enthusiasts launch. We have not seen a single impact blast on sea, land or a clip from a satellite. I'm assuming there are dedicated American satellites watching North Korea. They must be terminal expending rockets fizzling out. Will someone call out his bluff?
That's not how it works. These alarms are set off by radar, not by an observer.

The difference being that notifications to smartphones and the television networks are done directly by the government. In the case of the earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and severe weather events, it is the duty of the Meteorological Agency.

It’s scary, but nobody says about the merged military operations of US, Japan and South Korea around the Corean Peninsula. It’s to make everyone together saying “Kim is crazy, sending missiles for fun”. Yep but official explaining of those things is “a threat to NK is done by other forces”. They know international rules, if they do hostile acts they’ll pay for their actions. But in the meantime, we should only look for peace and not provocation. Japan is too a military power, other then anime and video games country… yeah they are relevant and SK too is a stronghold of Americans. NK is bonded with “enemies”, but has China and Russia by its side… think about their view.
