    Followed the instructions and it worked!! Both for a normal size cup and a larger cup with a thick base. Now I'm going hunting for unusual cups I've seen, admired and strolled past because I didn't know how to make a drainage hole. Now I do, thank you!!

    Thank you so much! Health reasons won't let me lift the weight of ceramic cup anymore. So many beauties I did not want to get rid of can now be reused, recycled and repurposed. Sure do appreciate this video! ❤️

    All this time I cried over every mug that went to waste and evey sapling I didn't have a pot for. 🥺 But not anymore! 🤩 I never knew that something seemingly impossible could be so easy. Thank you for sharing this technique, I particularly loved the tape hack. 🤩

    I have the same white and green/yellow flowers ceramic pot, got it just to put my jade cuttings, but was cared to make a drain hole. Loved your simple and honest video, now I have made 4-5 pots at one go!

    Thank you so much for this knowledge! I just did it, and from outside it's clean but from inside it's chipped. But that doesn't matter because the soil will be in the pot anyways, so all you can see is the handmade hole from the outside. Finally, the little teapot that I couldn't throw away has turned into a beautiful pot!

    You're good! When I tried that it broke like your first video. It broke neatly so I used some epoxy glue to glue the ceramic pot back together and painted it and it's great. The other way that really works is masonry drill bit on a towel or layers of cardboard.
