Mooney, like many of the top prospects in this draft, is extremely skilled but a very small forward. It’s going to be really difficult to accurately rank where guys like him, Ekberg, Eklund, Benak, Misa, and Ryabkin get drafted because of their size and strength versus their skill. This upcoming draft will be fun, but very difficult to predict
Draft like these are the most exciting because of the abondance of skills player. Misa, Ryabkin are about 6ft so I would not call them small but I agree with the rest of your list
He is excellent with his skating, in particular his edge work. He can sort of fake where he wants to go and quickly change direction to create space. He also has the stick handling to actually use his agility. He isn’t the fastest as in top speed, but for his skill set that isn’t particularly necessary. Perhaps not a perfect comparison, but I’d compare him to Patrick Kane if I wanted to be optimistic from what I see here. And in today’s game, size is not nearly as important as it used to be. I do expect Misa to go higher, he’s been talked about since he was drafted to the CHL, but I don’t think Mooney will be far behind him.
Very nice scouting report my man love seeing comments like these! You are right about size in today’s game and especially this years, a lot of top prospect are listed under 5’10. I could see a Clayton Keller type of guy with better explosion but Kane is a good one too. Finally I think that Misa is going top 7 and Mooney will be more of a late first early second because of his size but its still very early
Great hands and decent speed but thats it.Shot doesn’t look so good and size is the biggest problem.I would not want this guy in my team un less its a 3rd rounder

Keep it up my man! Love the vids
thanks Tony glad you appreciate it!
Super skilled player he’s been highly touted for a long time
been seeing his name for the last 3 years easily and he is still living up to the hype
@@TChockey yeah man pretty cool to see a kid grow up in a way
Can’t wait to see who will draft him next year
what team would be the best fit in your opinion?
I wish the Stl Blues would get someway good like him. Doubt it though
@@yeahdude4931 maybe with a late first or early second.. could be a great fit long term wise

386 Kilback Branch
Guillermo Mission
If he was 5 inches taller he would be drafted top 10
We could say this for so many player but especially him
He'd be top 3. Hes already got better handles and skating then half the 1st round.

if he has 100 pts this year, I can see him being a late first early second but if his production is around ppg, he will be drafted in the third round
It’s not better than benak
Doing a vid on Benak right.. although its pretty close I think that you are right
