Absolute shut down defense by St. Charles, forwards included (picking up their assignments and shutting down the middle of the ice) and like many others have said, the goalie was excellent.
I was at this game and I can say that was the most surprising thing I have ever seen mount came out and wanted it from the start to finish, st Mary’s played well the first but come the second and third st Charles had ‘em
This is wicked fast gameplay. I've been playing beer league...and even the fastest league doesn't feel this fast....if these are too college level....drafting for nhl then it makes sense...cause these are scary fast moves and control.
Not an expert, but my understanding is no. MSC has a varsity team for Rhode Island league play. This one is their premiere team that plays national preps.
Damn SSM got slaughtered. Question though. If they play under MAHA which has no affiliation with USA hockey how do they get an invite to the national game?
This isn’t surprising MSC played as a team SSM was a team of selfish hockey players. Clearly they relay too much on their skill, that will always fail against a good team with talent that plays systems.
