top pair D, not quite sure if he will be a true #1 but definitely on the pp1. I guess you meant best draft in terms of NHL teams. In my opinion Calgary, Montreal, SJ and Washington had the best value with their selection.
You cannot predict how much a teenager will jump in that first year of college , it’s not possible , you don’t know if it’s going to take time for them to get use to the speed or if it will be able to process the speed Immediately and play like they always have . You need to see it first , he was a second round pick every one knew he was going to be elite but his knock was he was to light on his skates and would be extremely easy to bump off the puck if he wasn’t in open space , like corners and on the Boards ..notice how all these plays start with him taking a huge curl to be able to be at his top speed once he hits the neutral zone …you can be fast and not be quick ..they are two completely different things ..Huston is very fast in open ice but his feet are not quick in his stops and starts he doesn’t have elite transitional speed , a lot of the nhl is transitional speed not open ice speed , he’s going to have to work on that a little bit . But phenomenal player . Uses a stick as tall as he is cause he likes have that little extra bit of length when he stick handles , to be able to shield and protect the puck better , Marchand was one of the first players I seen start doing this like 15 years ago , I seen him grabbing a stick from the pile that was as tall as he was with skates on and I was like that has to be the wrong stick lol
what you think his ceiling is for the caps? and who do you think had the best draft so far

Lane and Cole , different players , different style of play , same story . Scouts need to wake up .
Hutson family is very talented!
typo in the title: Hutson, not Huston. great video!
@@patrickgauthier3464 oupsi you’re right Pat thanks for the heads up. Glad you liked the vid too
I can't believe the habs didn't draft him.
they already have his bro ahah. Jokes aside it would have been insane
It would be more impressive if you made this statement at the time of or shortly after the draft.
100%. I thought he was a steal at 43 but I didn’t know he would be that dominant already.
