Hi all and thanks for your comments & questions! Quite a few people have asked if I could post a link to my presets I used in this video. I fine tuned them a bit after filming the video and spending some more time with this fantastic plugin and here they are: bit.ly/3SDZadD
Badass Marshall amp tones you got there. There are lots of videos with this plugin when they play 8-string guitars (it’s the Meshuggah amp…) so it was refreshing hearing something else. Cheers!
I really dig your channel and tones you get. I have all the Neural DSP plugins and think you’d really get a lot out of the Nolly X as well. I’d be keen to see a video of you having a go with it! Rock on!🤘
@@EugeValovirta230V Hi Euge, I also left you a guitar cover on your hardtones tab book video if you haven’t already seen it. It’s in the comments section. Cheers 🦄
great video euge - it's always good to hear from someone who knows what he's talking about! i use this nameless for years. it works great with hot pickups like the emg 81 or jb4. dont work so well with a classic paf. just my opinion
🇫🇮 🇫🇮 🇫🇮 Nameless is a great model, probably my favourite Jose modded Marshall model. Nolly and Henson have great 2203 and 2204 models if you’re after a stock Marshall from NDSP.
Yeah it's great! Thanks for the tip. I might check those out but I really like Softube's Marshall Suite for (stock) Marshall tones. And obviously my three real 2203s :-).
@@EugeValovirta230V The Softube ones are fantastic too, I agree. We’re pretty spoiled now for great sounding options (I have 3 2203/2204’s and can vouch for them too :)). One more tip, if I may. You can set your preamp gain on the focusrite to minimum and that will be equivalent to plugging any of your guitars (or pedals) directly into the real amp. NDSP designed their plugins like this, so users who have focusrite/UAD/Audient interfaces (which all have similar specs at this setting) can easily have accurate amp responses. Take care! Kiitos.
Euge, thanks for sharing your time with us while on vacation. Awesome content brother! With that being said……I’m stealing all your presets!!! 😂😂 cheers bro!
Euge, Fortin sounds OK, but there's that digital "sandness" to it that is so apparent with all modellers... Recently, IK Mutlimedia came with their Tonex modeller, have you tried that one yet? It's the new hype in the community. Costs juts a fraction of a price of Cortex, but sounds actually much better! With Tpnex, you get the least amount of that digital sand, at least judged by my ears.... Would love to see you capturing your amps - snapping them for other people to use with Tonex. Have you ever considered the option? Other players are doing this, selling one capture per 10 euros or so. Due to Tonex being nr.1 bestseller, it might be a good money on the side as well....
Great overview Euge. I also like this "modded" and on steroid Marshall. You should also test the Neural DSP Fortin Cali Suite. It also sounds "marshall-ish" and it's damn versatile 🤘
@@EugeValovirta230V Hey Euge, taking a chance to say you’re one of my fav guitar gear youtubers! I bought my jcm800 studio after your review of it, the stealth black is so amazing aesthetically
Wow man! I'm glad you checked this out! Would I be correct in assuming then, that I could get some Steve Vai (David Lee Roth era) tones out of this then? Thanks!
Man... I´m just in the mix part but :OOO damn that´s a great sound. Would you share that preset? Do you think that plugins have catched real amps for recording purposes? I do own some nice amps and also plugins hahaha
Thanks! The link is in the deescription \m/. I use real amps & plugins when producing, recording & mixing and sometimes other works better than other. But in general the best plugins (Neural, Bogren, Softube, STL Tones etc.) are amazingly close to the real deals. Well they're so close that the difference is usually not meaningful.
Hi Euge! Do you think this plugin is better then Softube for getting this boosted Marshall sound? I have Marshall suite from Softube and like it a lot, very natural sound and feel. I just wish they make better effects (reverb, chorus etc.). But this looks tempting ;) Simple and efficient.
Not better but different. Softube's Marshall are awesome emulations of stock Marshalls whereas this isn't a Marshall but Fortin's take on a modded British style amp. At least that's how I see & hear it :-).
Hi, would you consider making a video that compares the Celestion G12T-75 speakers vs the V30? I own a cab with the G12T-75 and would like to know if the V30 is much better.
I think I've done one already. If I remember correct I compared T75, V30 & CB65 on this one: th-cam.com/video/A9CDW3S6qtA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3GMBVGt0diBfHEKl
Hey man what audio interface are you running? I have a Scarlett 4i4 4th gen but can’t get it to sound good like this? What settings are you using on the interface and plugins to get the sound so pronounced?
It was an old 2i2 I haven’t used in years. Just guitar cable to the input and dial the input gain so that the red lights stay off. The sound doesn’t come from the audio interface, it comes mostly from the player’s hands and in this case also from the fantastic plugin. Link to download the plugin settings in the description 👌.
Dude so your telling us the Fortin Nameless Suite X comes with head and speaker cabinet and all that for 100 bucks ?? Everywhere I look it says 100 bucks . If so I am going to get it that looks like a lot for a hundred bucks...or do I not understand plug in..lol or is it just all digital

With the new QC update, they gave you a plugin of your choice. I just chose this one that I once tried 🤘 great plugin
Cool!
Great tones! I really enjoyed their Fortin Cali Suite and SLO 100.
