This is the first time I’ve seen this dude, he’s adorable like a golden retriever having fun playing this game. Has good energy and I appreciate the commentary as someone who also hasn’t played the game
Fun fact Skyrim is so great depending on the race you choose every npc reacts differently Like hadvar tells you that you alteast die in your homeland but to me who chose to be a dark elf he said something like this: Do not worry we will send your dead body back to your homeland (wich I think is super sweet)
I’ve been looking for people who are playing Skyrim for the first time to see their reactions. Its such a fun game that I can easily sink a few thousand hours into
Hey, nice to see you in Tamriel now... I already know that this is gonna be interesting (judging from the way you're already talking back to the tutorial.) My best advice in this game is to focus your skills. Find your thing and keep doing it over and over - that's how you level in this game, by using skills. Some skills are passive (like Light Armor) but they all contribute to levelling you up bit by bit. Also you're correct that looting is going to be a problem for you in this game. You thought the others were bad - this game has tons of useless crap that, on my first playthrough, I laboriously collected, thinking it was like Fallout, but instead I got things like wooden bowls, aprons, and embalming tools, most of which have no real use outside decoration. So, at first, I'd focus on useful items - weapons, arrows, potions, valuables (coins, jewels, etc.). Food & drink will give you some benefits in this game, but potions are much more useful. So feel free to pick the flowers and stuff as you pass by and experiment with potion making - that's what you want to fill your inventory with. Good luck!
Also this is hella late and all, but loot leather or fur or hide instead of iron or steel every single time, other than fur boots and gauntlets (and all helmets are worth picking up no matter the type), it’s always more worth it to pick up light armor. At a certain point you get to where picking up iron stuff doesn’t have enough profit to be worth the time it spends in your inventory
it's honestly so cool to see someone experience the game for the first time. I remember my very first playthrough I accidently shouted at the Jarl of Whiterun and then left Dragonsreach, and I was trapped in a permanent death loop of loading, being killed by guards, repeat. I stopped playing for 5 years LMAOOOOOO. I'm back at it now, and I just published my 6th mod on Nexus. Rock on man!
I think Skyrim is my favorite because of the amount of mods and how incredibly different you can make the game. If there are no mods, then morrowind, oblivion and skyrim in that order. Not that it matters now though but anyone playing skyrim for the first time I would advise a few mods regardless of whether it's first time playing or not. Obviously you want the vanilla experience but the 3 mods I would consider absolutely essential would be the unofficial skyrim patch, SkyUI and the achievements enable mod. That's 3 I can think of right off the top of my head.
I've been looking for someone to do a blind playthrough that isn't bad quality for so long, so hyped after seeing the title and hearing you talk for the first 1min or so!
I forgive you for the utter disgrace of going a whole decade without seeing even a clip of Skyrim because it's SO good to see someone go through their first time in Skyrim. I wish I could get the feeling of my first playthrough again
This is so exciting to watch! I’ve been playing this game since release, since I was like 11, it’s my entire childhood. I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve replayed it, I have the entire intro cutscene dialogue memorised word by word, I have all the songs memorised, I have so many quest dialogue memorised. I’ve been going back to this game every day just to mod it again and again. Seeing you play it for the first time is like going back myself and doing it all over again.
Just got an Xbox series X and when looking at games to download… I saw that puppy again in my recommended, and just finished up playing for 5 hours straight. A timeless masterpiece man
I loooove the contemplation over reading the book. 😂 It looks like me EVERYTIME I restart a play-through. “I’m going to read every book I find!” *Picks up first book* “Hm. That’s pretty long. Maybe later.”
Ahh, to be able to play Skyrim again for the first time would be amazing. I don’t care what anyone says, this game will always have a special place in my heart.
I've watched three Skyrim let's play this week. And every person missed the fact that they could choose to go with the Imperials or the Stormcloaks when they're escaping helgen. Which is kind of weird to me. Maybe it's because they're recording so it's distracting them? Because when I played, that part was really clear to me. It gives you a choice between hadvar or ralof
The confusion of the escape in first time you play this is so bloody good. And, every single time... I do what you did. Start following ulfric, then get lost and end up with hadvar.

@@aandaroo Well, that's like comparing Apples to Oranges. Both do good in their regards. You can't say that the entire Fallout series is better than the entire Elder Scrolls series, it just doesn't work because of how much stuff you have to take into consideration.
