Several interesting games in this video. Gauntlet definitely the one I played the most, with my high school friends back in the arcades... good times. Otherwise, I still prefer some of the great games from earlier in the 80s ... and then the shmups that started coming out in the late 80s! Mid 80s feels like an experimental, exploring-the-medium period in the arcade.

The range of quality is quite huge. Sega and a couple other publishers were very ahead at that time.

I played through that one recently. It's fun if not a little buggy at times. They have a spiritual sequel coming out soon I think.
