There's a lot of classics in there, but my personal favourite is Rampage. My wife and I once sat up until midnight playing it on Midway Arcade Treasures for the PS2.
What was the game similar to Galaxians but you could move your ship in an arc travelling up each side as well as along the bottom shooting at enemies. I played it in '85.
I wonder if you'd be down to go through comprehensive comps for the rest of the decade, cuz this is hype! A mix of the obscurities of before and the cool kids

No Double Dragon. No Ghosts N Goblins? Only played about 12 of these back in the day. Vast amount of them I never heard of.
Ghosts'n Goblins was released in 1985, and Double Dragon was released in 1987. Both excellent games, but this video focuses on 1986.
