An Update on our Restoration

- In this weeks video I am sharing how I am taking the time to do some small special things for me, and I also reveal the results of our paint restoration on our 1796 home.....we completed the project before snow comes!
Pumpkin Spice Latte:
1 cup half & half or milk of choice
2 TB pumpkin puree
2-3 TB pure maple syrup
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
Add above ingredients in a saucepan, warm and mix to combine. Froth if so desired. Refrigerate to store.

We live in a 1760 house and I know it’s constant upkeep, but worth being lucky enough to live in a home that’s been through such history. Your home looks lovely and you both have taken such loving care of a beautiful New England home.

We build a New England Saltbox .42 years ago,and still reside here today! It is a not a very common style home here. We have 3,100 sq. Ft. I love our home,and you also ,love and are restoring a historical home. Your front entry looks amazing! Great job

🍁Your home is lovely. You have my applause on your repairing and painting job. We have a full cape. I removed every last bid of paint from doors, trim, windows and thousands of shingles with a heat gun and a five in one tool. And scaffolding. It took about four months. It was worth it!

The door turned out great and it is so beautiful up there (I live in the south) I would love someday to come to New Jersey, Vermont and Maine one day.
Loved your video today especially the foliage hike, & your house came out great! Tip on the mum if you deadhead the dried up buds it will rebloom ! I do it as each dries up that way it continually blooms😊

What a beautiful door for a beautiful home:), One day I hope to visit the area it looks so pretty. My dad lived in Connecticut before he passed and I had hoped to visit. I live in Ohio so the leaves are very beautiful here too enjoy this Fall and God bless

Another lovely video. The coffee creamer looks so good. I have never added maple syrup, but sounds yummy. I was looking for cardamon to make a chai spice blend for my coffee. When I found it , it was $12.95 for a tiny bottle here in California! So I left it on the shelf. The red door looks wonderful. Can't wait to see what you put on it for Christmas!

The door looks amazing. I wonder if there is any meaning behind red and black doors. Maybe it meant something or just a preference. I have all the ingredients to make the pumpkin spice creamer and will definitely make it.

Great door color. I am looking for the New England red paint for my door. Purchased it years ago in Vermont. Might have to go back out to Vt/NH to get it...Can't find anything like it here. I have climbed Mt Monadnock. Color is not peak here yet in the Great Lakes.But what we have is beautiful.
