Technically you can be charged for brandishing based on what you just wrote. Just remember that there's some juries that are more pro gun, and some that are more anti gun. In Arizona at least, the fact that she followed him home is enough to prevent her from claiming self defense had she shot the driver. Even if he got out of his car and started talking shit, she could not legally shoot him. In fact, her following him home and then brandishing her firearm would mean HE would have reasonable fear for his life or grievous bodily injury and could have smoked her. She put her son in EXTREME danger.
And it’s foolishness like this that make it harder for the rest of us to protect the people we care about because of her lack of patience and self control. A firearm is meant to be practiced with at a range or to protect you and those you care about. It’s not a go to because your mad or you get into a fight.

I can understand the anger behind this 😕 In the footage we can see the guy coming out of nowhere, tailgating her, reving his engine.. then flying past her and slamming on the brakes.. on the highway + with her child in the car. I do believe Jenelle cares for her kids, but she's still young and immature even for her age. She makes poor choices.. and probably will for awhile. The right thing to do would have been making the police call, like she did.. making sure to give the lisense number too. I was going to say there'd have to be more than just tailgating for her to react like that. Tailgating is already rage inducing enough for most people, its aggressive, bullying and even dehumanizing as it disregards their person. I love my father to death…but as a child he put me in similar situations. He had terrible road rage. Almost every day on our way home from school someone would end up chasing us or vice versa. One time someone even pulled a gun on him in a Smiths parking lot. I thought he was about to be shot. If you ever have a kid in the car and someone is pissing you off…please remind yourself to stay calm and not escalate the situation. I was absolutely terrified of this when I was a kid. My dad is much calmer now in his older age, but he has a hard time admitting he acted the way he did sometimes while I was in the car.

Too many of my fellow gun enthusiasts think any tense situation between two parties is legal grounds to pulling out a gun. This will get you thrown in jail in 2 seconds. Only pull out a gun if you have no other alternative and your life is in unquestionable immediate danger

@@ElDuderinoh pulling out a gun rarely if ever diffuses a situation. In fact it often does the opposite. You're going to earn yourself a quick trip to jail with that logic. Technically you can be charged for brandishing based on what you just wrote. Just remember that there's some juries that are more pro gun, and some that are more anti gun. You can get fucked even if you feel like you're in the right. I recommend leaving the store if that ever happens again. It's not worth it
@@ElDuderinoh talk to a defense attorney if you want to argue. That's just how the laws are. Oh and even if you legally pulled a gun and don't get charged you can still get hit with a civil suit. The laws aren't as black and white as you think. You have to prove the 3 rules of self defense to pull out a gun in that situation, and I don't think you followed them.

Pulling your weapon in a roadrage incident is perfectly fine if your life is in danger. Following the guy home to confront him beforehand is not. It makes you the aggressor and liable. Self-defense will not be a valid argument.
Following someone home and jumping out with a gun over a traffic incident equals a deadly shootout to me but of coarse she wasn't thinking about that...

In Arizona at least, the fact that she followed him home is enough to prevent her from claiming self defense had she shot the driver. Even if he got out of his car and started talking shit, she could not legally shoot him. In fact, her following him home and then brandishing her firearm would mean HE would have reasonable fear for his life or grievous bodily injury and could have smoked her. She put her son in EXTREME danger.
And it’s foolishness like this that make it harder for the rest of us to protect the people we care about because of her lack of patience and self control. A firearm is meant to be practiced with at a range or to protect you and those you care about. It’s not a go to because your mad or you get into a fight.
Never follow someone home, if you do, note the address and keep driving. Stopping there and (apparently) blocking them in is a form of assault.
Yes it’s always a good idea to follow someone home and enter their property and yell at them. It’s just that sort of mentality that is used against us law abiding conceal carry gun owners are compared with. It also explains why she is a “ Teen Mom” her utter disappointment judgement.

1) There was no need to pull out a gun in the first place

I can understand the anger behind this 😕 In the footage we can see the guy coming out of nowhere, tailgating her, reving his engine.. then flying past her and slamming on the brakes.. on the highway + with her child in the car. I do believe Jenelle cares for her kids, but she's still young and immature even for her age. She makes poor choices.. and probably will for awhile.
The right thing to do would have been making the police call, like she did.. making sure to give the lisense number too. With all the cameras around her.. it was very clear to see the white truck was being aggressive. If she just hadn't of followed him home.

I was going to say there'd have to be more than just tailgating for her to react like that. Tailgating is already rage inducing enough for most people, its aggressive, bullying and even dehumanizing as it disregards their person. Everyone is quick to attack her because the stupid video sensationalizes her reaching for her weapon and following him but we see almost nothing of the jerk off who actually instigated the whole situation. When people are in fight or flight mode from this type of stress, some people like her do choose the fight route. The people who are low IQ enough to tailgate can't fathom what they're doing to the other person and adverse reactions.
You can’t follow someone and then yell ‘Leave me alone’. I’m homeless and a cop approached me and told me to take my hands out of my pocket for her safety’. If you fear me, why would you approach me. ?

I love my father to death…but as a child he put me in similar situations. He had terrible road rage. Almost every day on our way home from school someone would end up chasing us or vice versa. One time someone even pulled a gun on him in a Smiths parking lot. I thought he was about to be shot.
If you ever have a kid in the car and someone is pissing you off…please remind yourself to stay calm and not escalate the situation. I was absolutely terrified of this when I was a kid. My dad is much calmer now in his older age, but he has a hard time admitting he acted the way he did sometimes while I was in the car.
