Hi all, this is Jamie, the Director/Writer of Black Hole (original name, I know). We're so excited to have this film on Dust for everyone to see here for free, and we really hope you enjoy the whole piece. Stick around till the end for a fun after/pre-credits bit, and let us know your thoughts. @@jackasschicken5922 When the common center of gravity is below the surface of one of the objects, we typically say everything else revolves around it. The black hole hits me like a metaphor for a koan, as taught in Zen Buddhism. It is usually a paradoxical riddle that leaves you at a loss for words and thoughts. You begin your Zen meditation by sitting with it for an extensive amount of time. The "great doubt," which has been provoked by the koan, grows slowly but surely and devours everything that matters to you―from your worries to obsessions. You may want to use it to flush down your negative emotions, and some Zen practitioners do just that. But that's not all. You realize your mind is increasingly fixated on the great doubt, but you just can't help it. And, at some point, BOOM. The black hole ends up swallowing what you once thought was yourself. You then take a glimpse of sunyata, the "suchness" or "attribute-free shapelessness" that has been constructing you and your world all along. You just haven't been aware of it. You've been defining it through your limited thoughts and arbitrary concepts. Zen Buddhism calls the experience kensho (seeing the true nature). Once you experience kensho, you begin to see the causality and conditioning that allow things to arise and dissipate. You see beyond the past, present, and future. As Pascal Quignard put it, you realize you're actually living in the "aorist." You have a deeper understanding of yourself. You stop clinging to what you once cherished. You're lonely, but you're not bothered by it anymore. You just live on, stroking your cat.

Interesting and well done. Physics-wise, the black hole, which somehow resists earth’s gravity by suspending, would attract air, one atom at a time until all air was gone around the earth. That’s just to start. Also, the event horizon shows light surrounding it, as though it’s massive and constantly eating massive objects.
The Black Hole is his inner struggles inside his heart.. Not being happy, doubts in every day life that created that unhappiness has pushed away his friends and closed ones, It pushed away his girl friend. The part that wants happiness has become a silent and had to watch everything slip away from his life. And in the end he was alone. Doesn't look much like a sci-fi.
