    This is awesome. I found this exact same reference pic of the flowers and violin a few months ago. I was trying to go for a painterly approach and got frustrated. You make it look so easy. I will have to give this one another try.

    I love this picture and style. You make it look so easy. I’ve been a task oriented person my whole career. I’m trying to force myself to let loose now that I’m retired. I wish I had found these brush sets before I bought other sets.

      You’re super kind, thank you! Learning to let go and paint loose is a challenge on itself, I struggle with it too! But by trying over and over, it gets easier 😊

    • @IttaiManero
      @IttaiManero  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! As I mention in the video, “alpha lock” the layer, and then “color fill” with blue. If you click on the layer twice you’ll find those two options in the pop up menu.

    Hi, if I wanted to buy your pens for procreate for my iPad . How would I do it ?

      Hello! You would need to go to my Gumroad page in your Safari browser (ittaimanero.gumroad.com), click on the product you would like to purchase, and in the right side just below the product images you’ll see a column that contains a box where you can type. Type the amount you would like to pay (the minimum is the already established price, but you can pay more if you feel like it. Not necessary though!). Then click on the black button below that says “Add to cart”. It will take you to the payment page. Complete the transaction and it will take you to the download page. There, you can download all the files related to your purchase. In the top right of Safari you will see an arrow, if you click on that it will indicate you the progress of your downloads. After they’ve finished downloading, you can click on the magnifying glass icon next to each download and it will take you directly to the downloaded files in your files app. By clicking any of the brush set files they will automatically import in Procreate. Make sure to scroll through your brush sets to find it, new added brush sets usually appear on top of the brushes menu. Some of my producta include other type of files that are not brushes per se, but images and textures that you can keep in your files app, and then import them in Procreate (there are multiple methods to do this, for example you can go to the wrench icon in the top left corner in Procreate, go to the Add tab, and click on insert a file. You will need then to search for the location of the texture or image you want to import and click on them in order to import them into your canvas. I hope all this info helps!

    Hello, I watched a few of your video considering should I buy your brush. To me, your watercolour painting is my favourite so far, but I'm sort of hesitant because I'm so bad at procreate.
    From what I notice, when you did a watercolour, you did the colouring part using just one brush and slightly changed the colour throughout the whole process. You also used smudge tool to helping with blending.
    My question is, when you used the blending brush, is it the same with colouring brush? Also, do you have any advice for me, because every time I tried to do a watercolour in procreate, it didn't look like watercolour at all.

    • @IttaiManero
      @IttaiManero  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Thank you so much for your kind words.
      If you look at my other watercolor tutorials I have on my channel you’ll see that I also use other brushes from the set. It’s just that for this specific style of loose painting I used this specific brush through this whole tutorial. The brush used here was indeed the same when I used the smudge tool in this specific case.
      I would recommend you to watch my other watercolor tutorials as well. I specifically have one aimed for beginners that will guide you step by step on how to paint cherries (it’s will help you if you’re starting). If you have already watched them all then you can also download the free mini version of the set from my Gumroad page and see how it feels before purchasing the full version 😊 I hope this helps!

    Stupid question….so, if I zoom in, does that alter how the brush stroke looks or does the brush stroke orient itself to the size of the screen? Does that make sense? Do I loose the texture of the brush stroke zooming in and out?

    • @IttaiManero
      @IttaiManero  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not a stupid question at all! By default it shouldn’t affect the quality of your strokes, but beware of a feature in Procreate that would actually affect how your strokes look depending on your zoom level. If you go to the wrench icon in the top left corner (called Actions menu), and go to the “Prefs” tab, make sure that “Dynamic brush scaling” is turned on, and all should be good

    with the brush you use, does it also have a texture?

    • @IttaiManero
      @IttaiManero  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In the minute 1:10 you can see that I import two textures. The brushes have texture as well, but the main textures that give you the realistic watercolor effect are those that I import at the beginning in the canvas.

    Hi, I’m trying to download one of your free set un gumroad. When i press the "get" button it says to me that I have to put my credit card number. It wasn’t free?

      Hi. Before you hit the button, you need to type something in the price field. Because it’s a free product you can type 0 or any amount you wish to donate (but it’s not required)

    Great content, talent, technique and generosity to share! Like and subscribe! Loose watercolor in Procreate is very rare, I would say unique! And whats more, loose watercolor city/landscape in Procreate is non-existent. Please include it in your list!
