    I can't believe I've been so dumb. I didn't know you could change the brush texture of the smudge tool! That's how artists blend their colors so perfectly??? OMG THANK YOU FOR SHOWING ME THIS!
    I've used the smudge tool only twice and hated the default texture, so I never used it again. But learning I can change it has changed my life D;

      That's how some artists blend for sure. Definitely not dumb! It took me a little while to figure that out and I also hate the (lack of) texture of the standard blend tool. You can do the same thing with the eraser tool, too. Happy painting!

    I’ve really enjoyed this video out of many others and I’ve already watched a few times as I learn…you’re wonderful! Super artist too! Thank you m’am…for the record, I’m 66 yrs old. I’ve taken many classes in person over the years, read, done the tutorials on the internet, etc. you’re great at explanations! I will shortly be taking them all!♥️

    So helpful. would never have guessed that the water color brushes are NOT the best for watercolor - at least if you care about texture!

    You’re so right. The actual watercolour brush is so underwhelming. I’m a beginner and when I used that, I was really not satisfied and thought I might have to buy some extra brushes. Thank you so much for this video!!!

      You can definitely add it at any point. Just put it as a layer on top of the painting layers.

    If you purchase brush packs for procreate do you have to credit the creator of them?
    I’ve been trying to figure out how to draw watercolor and I must admit it’s been a bit overwhelming. I usually do ink but I prefer watercolor look and it’s like trying to unlearn the way I draw lol

    • @Squidpeg
      @Squidpeg  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ZeeGauntlet you'll want to read the terms set by the brush creator when you're purchasing. I've never come across a brush set that requires/requests you give them credit if you use the set you purchased, but it's possible. I provide the names and links to any purchase ld brushes I use in my videos just in case viewers want to go buy the exact ones I use.

    My moorilla brush doesn’t seem to change opacity when I use it :( do you know what I could be missing?

    • @Squidpeg
      @Squidpeg  ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you using the Apple Pencil? Many other styluses don't support the pen pressure function very well.

    • @Squidpeg

      Not natively, no.

    • @JasmineCherie
      @JasmineCherie ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can import them easily. I found a tutorial
      That Gave some free. Links are often the descriptions. Another way... I made a paper with a brush. I made it, using the sources in the procreate library.
