The reason the RS doesn’t have rear vents is it’s actually a base LS Malibu to be honest. So when you buy the RS you’re only buying a trim level with add ons. But the best addition is the dual exhaust
For heaven's sake GM, put the 2.0L Turbo and the 6 speed or 9 speed in this.
The 2020 Malibu still has the same dashboard as my 2016 Malibu. How boring!
My 2017 LT has those rims and I also have the cajun red. Weird but I'm not complaining its amazing looking
Very beautiful. MALIBU 👍
just bought this car and i️ love it..
Awesome choice, congratulations!!
I wish they would’ve kept the 6sp auto
The Jetta S base model is 18500. It's loaded with features. Great quality great gas mileage. 30 city 40 Highway alloy wheels standard
Bought two RS's in mosaic black, black with metallic. No complaints except maybe a little road noise in the back, but then again it's not a Cadillac. Mileage is a bonus and main reason for purchase, consisting 29 city 33 highway...my style of driving. Would I buy another, probably.
You reckon road noise could be down to crappy tires maybe ? Usually if you install luxury tires it tends to give a much better ride with remarkable quietness.
@@asfandasadiq4634 agree, usually automakers go cheap when placing tires on vehicles. After 2,000 miles still the same.
RS says it has 6 speakers does it mean the 4 speakers on the door plus the 2 tweeters on the front sides meaning 6 speakers total or does it have 6 actual speakers plus the 2 tweeters?
I believe it's 6 total
Hello. The malibo 2020. do they come with V6 motor. ?
Nope, only options are 1.5L turbo and 2.0L turbo
Can you install waze on there?
I believe it is available from the myChevrolet app store. It is compatible through Apple Carplay & Android Auto
Does this have lane assist?
It does not :(
Is it true the company will stop the line ???
Great question, so far GM has said that they are keeping the Malibu. But that's always subject to change. Personally, I hope they keep it and develop some different options like Electric and AWD.
No siriusxm
Thought it was going to be a sporty kind of bland . Should have a SS
Would love to see the 2.0L in it
Where is Mahk?
?
Mahk is one of the “real people, not actors!”
Very coastly car this segment
Very vanilla for a sport trim.
Why not take 20 minutes before reviewing a very nice car.....and gloss up the tire rubber! Lol
Ain't no way a sane person would pay 25k for this disposable vehicle. I'd rather get a sonata or a Toyota Camry for that price
After rebates and discounts, most people are picking them up around $21-22k
disposable?
Hardly disposable. You see as many 20 year old Malibus plus their relations the Grand Am and Aleros driving around as 20 year old Corollas. They usually have a lot less rust, too.
How tf is it disposable? Stfu
Cheap looking and feeling inside. I rented a 2018 Malibu for 4 days, and although GM is making better cars, they’re still well behind the competition in terms of features, interior and exterior styling and and overall quality finish. Plus those Malibu’s ride too rough and stiff over bumps and bad roads.
The instrumentation layout looks almost exactly the same that’s what’s in the Colorado trucks.
And the start and stop function is really annoying and crappy. I own a 17 Impala with the awesome 3.6 V6, and it’s a car that the Malibu should have been because is way better than the Malibu in every facet. From styling, to performance, to features, size and build quality, the Impala is a way better car and It’s GM’s fault for never advertising it, thus letting it die by the wayside!! Can’t sell anything if you don’t market it, how are people supposed to know? GM’s marketing had been absolutely terrible for years, and you wonder why nobody are buying their sedans over say Honda, Toyo, and now Hyundai and Kia which are building better vehicles than GM is at the moment.
Well.. the Impala is quite different because it’s a full sized car. I have a 2019 LT and it’s massive... I always pull through in parking lots because of its long overhang and terrible rear visibility... and shift into reverse so I can make sure I’m over the line.
But 2019.. second to last model year.. and they made zero physical changes. Even the rims weren’t updated. All they did was make previously optional things standard, change some colours, and add Apple car play. Even the gauges and interior are parts-bin... with the same centre display as on tons of other GM cars.
The only reason I have mine is because it’s roomy and smooth and powerful but above all CHEAP! They almost can’t give them away, now.
Auto stop feature sucks, it turns on every single damn time you turn on the vehicle and yoi have manually press the button every time.
Those rims are ugly, they look aftermarket. It's better to buy the 2020 Sonata instead. More standard features, better warranty, better design especially the interior.
I agree on the "auto stop/stop." It's the worst feature ever on a vehicle, in my opinion. It maybe saves a teaspoon of gas for all the aggravation it brings. It turns your vehicle into a golf cart, because when you press the gas pedal, the engine starts and you go.
