Grace certainly handles the water well. You did a good job on both the design and the build. Fantastic! Congrats in advance on 38! I may work on a reefing solution for my non-standard halyard/gaff but as I told Doug Jackson, its possible to luff along up to 25 and then its just time to get off the water!
I see reef points that aren't prepared for use, seems the wind knew that. Good blustery breeze! Looks like you've got a great partner there. First time I took mine out sailing it blew 18-20 knots when the forecast was for 12. She took it in stride and I knew I had a keeper on my hands.
Congrats to us both on our partners! You're exactly right on the reef points. Rigging for reefing on this boat has been on my todo list for a while; as I explained to Doug Jackson in the recent video, my decision to rig the single halyard is going to complicate it. But, time to give it a shot...
