Well, "better" is very subjective :p
I got the black one because the silver version was not released when I bought it. But a chrome Desert Eagle .50 AE is as "bad ass" as it gets so that would probably be what I would recommend.
However, chrome/silver will be a lot more problematic to handle and keep clean and scratch free, so that's something to keep in mind.
First off, THANK YOU for the link to spare parts. I had a WE Mauser break on me a while back, and I thought I was screwed. It's good to know KY stocks the whole line of spare parts for WEs at a cheap price.
Aaaanyway, great review. Really enjoyed the TM Desert Eagle and was looking forward to the WE model but was worried about reliability because heck, even the TM broke down over time if you used green on hot days. I know you just got it, but do you foresee any issues with this gun down the line? Parts you see that might be prone to breaking, etc.

Hmmm... Nothing obvious that looks problematic or flawed. And if something were to break, you have KY Airsoft to the rescue :D
Depending on how hot the climate is where you are at it might put more stress on the pistol but just from my first impression it seems solid with no obvious flaws.
Totally, thanks again. Ordered the Mauser parts at an extremely fair price... you know it's fair when this Deagle's frame only costs $35 lol.
Average temperature is quite hot around these parts, but I noticed in your review they seem to have designed it for C02 use. I don't plan on using C02, so I figure green gas even on a 100+ degree day should be fine. And I agree, from your overview the build looks solid. It looks like a simplified TM, which is good, cuz the TM needed to be simplified if ya ask me; no huge nozzle wings that are prone to snapping, a simpler hop-up, what could go wrong...?
I was a bit surprised to hear it kicks less than expected. Have you shot the TM model? Is the kick at least somewhere around that level? I was pretty impressed with it on green, dunno if WE was able to copy that TM magic. At the end of the day I'm glad I don't have to spend $180 on a TM + a ridiculous ~$400 on a Guarder kit, lol.
Nah I have not fired the TM Desert Eagle. I am pretty sure I read somewhere on a forum though that the WE kicks more. It should since it is full metal, green gas ready and full travel slide. But I am not 100% sure :o
I had an issue where my outer barrel cracked into three different parts. I ordered a new one from kyairsoft and fixed it up. Unfortunately it came in black and my gun is Matte Silver.
How has the mag held up? Mine has already started leaking with out using it at all!!

How can you review something you have no experience with yet??? that makes no sense. all you have done is an unboxing video and a test.
A review should be done 6 months, a year, two years down the line. Something like that, then you can REALLY review a product, tell us the actual weak points of it.
This is the problem with airsoft "reviews" nobody actually reviews the product, they just regurgitate something that literally every other self proclaimed "reviewer" does, and in doing so you provide a MASSIVE disservice to the newbies who want to start airsoft, or people who haven't had experience with a particular gun. They will inevitably end up buying the product and have to find out for themselves how bad it actually is, or isn't.
You just cannot call this a review.

My gun jammed idk if I did this right?? Are u suppose to load the bbs in kinda forcefully? Now my gun slider won’t lock back.. that little piece that holds it in place? I have to do it manually now it won’t do it itself when I pull the slide back. Any help?
The BBs do get kind of forcefully fed in through the top feed lip of the magazine, that is normal. I recommend you remove 1-2 BBs from a fully loaded magazine to allow for some room for the magazine spring to compress when inserted on a closed slide. That way it doesn't jam up against the loading nozzle. When you have BBs in the magazine the slide does not lock back by itself. Once you empty the BBs from the magazine it should actuate the slide catch lever and lock the slide back.
36:01 Dude. That's how a real fucking desert eagle works, it would be going away from the realy thing if the entire upper moved.
Yeah, I know it does. Didn't say anything about that it shouldn't work like that but just pointing out the design difference on the Desert Eagle versus most other pistols where the entire slide/upper moves on recoil action.
That was a great review, i have notice that the barrel is hollow and the inner barrel is allmost inthe air xd, but is easy to fix. Some other issue that i found is the magazine, i don't know if you have heard any sound of leakings but mines comes with leaks on the top an bottom of the mag, i fixed and now it's fine. Another thing, in other guy review it said to adjust the hopup you need a 1.5 allen key, but the 1.5 does not fit on it, what size of allen key you use?

No leaks on my magazine but I take it apart and lubricate everything so maybe that is why.
I am pretty sure the key size is actually 1.3mm and not 1.5mm.
Kind of bad they do not include an adjustment key with the pistol :|

Who else has seen this pistol fail (broken loading nozzle) ?
I've heard of 1-3 cases of that after some pretty heavy use. I don't use mine nearly enough to cause any wear or breakages so I won't be joining that club :-p

I forgot to say in the video but there is no internal threading in the muzzle so you can attach a supresser and/or adapter. But I guess no one wants to on a Desert Eagle anyways :p

Mine said when I bought it that it was the same thing but mine came with an orange tip, so is it fake?
Orange tips are mandatory in the US and some other countries so it does not have to indicate that it is fake.

The return spring on that on its more powers than mine.

Hey. Do you know how to remove the orange tip becouse I still cant find out why. I tried getting pliers but i feel like it's going to break.
They are usually epoxied on to the muzzle. In most cases removing the requires brute force or solvents. Both of which most likely will end up damaging your barrel.
You are better off ordering a replacement barrel (they are shipped without orange tip if it is just a spare part) from KY Airsoft.

0.2g BBs are used for chronographing.

I will not be getting any more Desert Eagles but it is available to buy in chrome version.
I honestly do hope they produce co2 cartridges. I want to be able to replace my cybergun/kwc desert eagle that I've had for almost 5 years now. Never had a problem with it, but I think it's time to retire it and get this one.

@Mobile Photographer if I bought the gun with a green gas mag, can the co2 magazine be used in it or do I need to buy the co2 version of the gun for it to be compatible with the co2 magazine? Thank u

Depends on the country it is being shipped to. Mine did not have an orange tip.

Can this take real steel slide adapters and real steel custom grips?
Not sure what a steel slide adapter is? Real grips are possible with some modification. Can't say exactly what and how but I have seen pictures of it done.
I actually ordered this on RedWolf Airsoft and let me tell you, it is taking sooooo long to come in the mail. I’m disappointed in the shipping process.
Meh. Yeh RedWolf Airsoft is one of my least favorite shops to buy from. Only order there if they are the only ones that have something in stock that I need. Same as you, disappointing shopping experience all around.

Not sure I understand how you mean stuck under the hop up? :o
Maybe try decrease the hop up by turning out the hop up screw at the top of the loading chamber of the barrel?
@@CJAwesome83 i could solve the problem..now i dissable the gun and the pice that lock the barrel when the guns its empty its facing down and for that reason do not lock the weapon open..how could i solved?

Hey I have a question. Have you had any problems the slide not locking back when out of bb's? I'm using .20 gram 6mm, after all 27 shots it should lock back but it will not:(. Do you think my mag is leaking or something along those lines?
Nah, don't shoot mine at all so I can't say. If you push up on the slide lock when you are out of BBs does it lock back then? Or if you try dry firing with a new charge of gas without BBs in it, does it lock back?
@@CJAwesome83 It locks back if I only fire like 17 shots, after the other ten it with not lock back. Do you think it could be leaking gas or something?
What gas are you using for it? What ambient temperature? Try this. Fill the magazine up with just a quick puff, then purge the magazine by pressing in the main valve at the back. Then charge it normally for 3-5 seconds. Usually gives better performance.
@@CJAwesome83 I tried this and the gas I'm using is the green gas from airsoft surgeon. It's winter here so it's usually around 60 in my house. I thought that I needed to lubricate it so I bought 100% silicone oil to see of that helped. The first mag locked back when emptied but the rest would not...I noticed that when I fire it that it let's out a lot of gas in the first few shots, enough to dampen my hands. Is it a mag leak or something along those lines?
Hmmm, yeh, 60F is a bit on the low side. Optimal temperature would be 68-86F or there abouts. The first shot are always a bit overpowered before the pressure normalizes in the magazine. What you can do is do the short-puff-purge method, fill the magazine up for 3-5 seconds, then carry it in your pocket for 10-15 minutes to allow it to restore some heat and then you should be able to fire all the shots. If that fails, well then wait for warmer weather :p

Hey bro, I live in the U.S. and I just got a G17 all black, do you know if I’ll get into problems with customs? I hear sometimes they seize it and I do not want that to happen.. do they cover it up to their best to try and pass customs? Thank you!
Depends on the model and where you ordered it from.
Most shops put putty and/or tape over the trademarks and cover the Glock logos on the boxes etc.
There are usually also extra shipping options to have airsoft guns shipped in split packages to reduce risk of customs inspection.
But, from what I hear, Glock airsoft pistols being seized by US Customs is rare to non existent.

Cybergun and Umarex got the official license for the Glock pistols using Stark/VFC as OEM and that is why they are no longer availabe.

Can you remove the iron sight?
The front sight? Yes it is possible but very difficult as explained in the video. I never managed to remove it from mine.

You mean like a problem with yours, or do you mean the new one Cybergun announced at IWB?
The new L5 with rails on top and bottom is KWC OEM and KWC Desert Eagle has semi, full and safe modes.
I was very disappointed to see this because if it was a WE based L5 I would buy one :p

Ah... hmmm... Well, not helpful answer but something with the sear in the hammer machanism is worn down and it's no longer catching the hammer between shots. Maybe wait for my frame disassembly/reassembly video and see if that helps. Otherwise order new sear from KY Airsoft or similar supplier. :o

Hi, what inner barrel do you think has better performance than stock barrel? The 6.01 or 6.03?
From what I know 6.01 barrels are not so good. Too little "air cushion" around the BB to make it fly straight. Also more problems with BBs.
6.03 is a good choice :)
Non Existent btw, the desert has a 6.04 right? So maybe there's no need to but a 6.03 barrel, just a maple leaf diamond bucking, but i don't know wich one (60,70 of 75 degrees)
I am pretty sure WE comes standard with 6.03 inner barrel. But all 6.03 barrels are not the same, of course a better after market barrel will have better finish and precision inside.
Since the WE Desert Eagle shoots about 330 FPS / 100 M/S (in my test) you can use this image to select the Maple Leaf bucking:

The Maple Leaf Macaron rubbers are very good!
Also remember the stock WE barrel has shorter hop cut so you cannot use a new TM VSR rubber without changing the inner barrel as well.

Yes 330 FPS but with standard 0.2g BBs which is the baseline for chronograph testing.

50 ae is a round used to take down tanks
🤣 hell no. 50 cal is a big round but nothing a freakin' tank can't handle. The handcanon is powerful, just not that powerful.
