We love living in Maine. It's surprisingly affordable honestly. There's a LOT of land here!

Is there any sort of cleaning you must do for the dirt floor run?

No. Nothing. I rake the straw from the coop when it needs to be cleaned and the chickens spread it out, then it decomposes into nice new mulch/dirt. The sun and rain take care of the rest.
