I feed them all chick starter grower as well when I have younger girls as well. I just keep oyster shell available. My question is I have roosters this year. Will they do ok on layer feed when my hens get switched to layer feed?
Unless you plan on separating the roosters every time you feed them... yes, they'll be fine on the layer feed.
How are you doing Lisa up there with all that smoke...are you affected by it where you are?? I've heard quite a bit about areas up there being hit hard with it..hope your doing ok.
