IF you are playing on this awesome new map then make sure to check out this video about the loot crates. This video will show you why you should be getting green and yellow loot crates instead of the red ones!!!!
This tutorial is part of my channel for Ark, to help give you locations, hints, helps, guides,tips, cheats, glitches, cheese, the easy way, and whatever you might want to call these sorts of videos! :)

You seem pretty biased towards your own belief. And as an end level player, Id rather get the chance at good bps then all the yellow crates stuff. You get get excited about about a teleporter in the yellow crates, and then you are like meh when you see the teleports in the red loot

Tbh even at alpha status tier 2 looks much more useful to me, you don't get good bps from alpha crates anyway and you can farm any Bp you could ever need from gen 2 missions. Much easier method

I opened one and got a hair cut some poly and a bunch of Ambergris lol
if you spend about half a million hexagons on both types of crates and throw everything in a vault 9 times out of 10 I would prefer the ones from red crates, now yes if you spam buy a whole inventory yellow crates will give you better stuff since they drop less prime meat and other useless inventory flood items, but for the hexagon price I cant say it is worth yellows.... less good tek and not much chance for a high tier blueprint with the same hexagons spent

I feel like the regular drops are better than the loot crates, especially if you do the one mission that increases loot quality.

Have to say, I've gotten some great ascendant gear that was very useful from reds. The most useful besides some saddles was a 331 longneck as well as some great tek armor.

I always do reds. About 1 in 5 gives me a decent bp. 1 in 4 for gear. Rest is filler I might use.
Best thing about loot crates is that you can save up the points then stand in front of a vault safely inside your base and open.
The best for not having useless thing is to buy everything we need for craft the thing we looking for instead of wasting all gen points in crates

Yeah yeallow seems 2x more useful and 1/3 cheaper far better indeed, i normally buy resources but eventually the loot crates will be the best for my base.
I buy the red ones for the wyv milk...lol...sometimes I get 10 or 20 out of it...I only make shadow/velo missions...rare chance to get r seeds...
The stuff you get & don't need into the grinder and from the missions the "ungrindable" stuff into the gacha to get got loot...that's my way to do it...but never buy the yellow ones so I need to test that out....

If im looking for a mythical or legendary rex saddle bp what would be the best crate rarity and the best mission to get it? Im asking that cos im trying to make a realy op rex army for alpha boss battles but idk what the best way to get a mythic rex saddle bp.

I got somthing called a net gun In a red crate and I got its ammo in the yellow crate

Its closed till transfers are ready cuz it be the same with people having tons of currency then they take over the map... that daying people still do that anyway so bleh

only tekgram it gives is exomek at any difficulty.
You get much the same stuff from collecting supply drops. I'd rather do that than farm hexagons for the loot crates.
Gen2 store is disabled atm due to hexagons being transferrable

You can get it but it’s rare, I’ve gotten one from the red crate
They added Reps to crates on Gen1 100% for a short time because there was no other way to get them until then they let you craft it in the Fab and removed it from crates.
I did the canoe mission to boost the loot and got a red crate and it was worthless. Definitely green and yellow is where its at.

The red ones are worth it just for the new net gun... not the harpoon gun, but there’s another thing called the net gun and it can net gigas

@@TeachersGameToo i don't know if you will read this but the original net gun is in the game as in the one In the dev kit since scorched earth i believe and it can stop just about anything gigas, titanosaurs, bronto, just imagine the harpoon launcher version without limits and it drops in the crates too.
