this tune is like mainlining r&r into the bloodstream, pure unadulterated kick ass energy.
RIDE ON is my personal fave on the DDDDC album.
If I had to pick one, it would be Ride On too. It makes me feel like a badass. I'm glad I don't have to though!
This song has more than a touch of the Chuck Berry's about it. Especially during the break part of the way through. A homage, no doubt, to the great man himself. One of the great-granddaddy's of rock 'n' roll. Got to love that boogie riff going the entire length of this song. Ride On has to be the best bluesy number of this album.

Ride on is a great song I think it will be you favorite track on this album enjoy.
Wow, heard this song, live but never heard the original studio version.
This really pays homage to original rock and roll music of the 50's in this style by hearing the real basic studio version of it.

This was a 50s tribute. Love this whole album. Bon Scott could squall like a wildcat and Angus Young’s guitar was unmatched at that time. I liked “ Rock and Roll Singer. I think youd think dig that for sure

Oh yeah BizMatik the lads have some blues in their sole as well as some James Brown and Jerry Lee Lewis in this tune as well!!!!! Totally a 50’s ish vibe with them having fun all the way with it!!!! I bet Angus had the biggest smile on his face recording this one!!!!! Yeah Phil Rudd the drummer never gets enough credit but that’s the life of being a drummer!!!! Just ask Ringo of the Beatles!!!!! Yep, I agree Angus and Malcolm were everything.... it was their band to start with!!🤷♀️ Their original singer Dave Evans (another Aussie who went on to have a few hits in Australia with his band RABBIT) just didn't see their "vision". Enter Bon Scott.... he was a perfect fit for the brothers. So sad he didn't live long enough to see his own legacy!!😔 All that being said.... this is not my fav song either (YOU said it first! 😅)!! The only song I really love off this one is "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"! Great reaction as always Biz!!😎❤

It’s Malcom and Bon at their very best. Lyrical structure and Ryrhm totally lifted for Chuck Berry, but made their own.

This is what I think of when I hear the term rock n' roll.
This track was left off of the previous album. Was on the TNT album in Australia. The live version is killer goes for over 10 minutes
Nikki Hill does an awesome cover of this song, as well as many other early AC/DC songs. She works a few of them into every one of her shows, they are incredible. You can almost see Bon smiling down at her when she does them. Check them out if you get the chance!

Believe it or don't, but I was really drunk one night when this song came on and some dude pulled me out of my chair and started tossing me around and the next thing I know, I'm jumping off of some stairs and he caught me, tossed me up in the air, caught my waist and spun me around. Song was over. That was some of the most fun I ever had!
