Brian Johnson all the way. 36 years vs. 5 years, the top 3 AC/DC songs were done by Johnson, Brian did so much more for the band than Scott ever did and he is still strong. He didn't drink himself to death so there is that. Johnson is clear winner.

Great example of why Angus is my favorite guitarist😊 When Bon says “42, 39, 56, you could say she got it all”, he’s talking about her bust, waist and hip measurements, just had to throw that out there 😂😂 I’d love to see you do more Bon Scott albums. Some of them are pretty short you could even listen to the whole album in one sitting/video! The Bon Scott era music videos are also awesome too. He was born to be a performer. My vote for the next album would be High Voltage if you want to start from the beginning, or Highway To Hell if you just want the best!🔥 Any Bon Scott music video on the AC/DC channel is fire. One of my favorites is Jailbreak.
You got that right! He was a performer! Those eyes would get big and he was on! We need some videos with Bon for sure!!!!! How about "Ride on" in that list. That one gets me fired up!!!
All I'm gonna say about this Bon/Brian debate is.... Bon, sadly, drank himself to death. And Brian fell into Angus and Malcom's lap VERY quickly (just MONTHS) after Bon's passing. I don't think that was a coincidence. Who intervened, Bon (or the "Big" guy upstairs) we'll never know. BUT, CLEARLY AC/DC was meant to continue on and bless us with their music for an additional 40+ years!!! So, the debate between Bon or Brian is POINTLESS..... Bon tragically passed. Is Bon the better vocalist? YES but, If it weren't for Brian, AC/DC would've died with him.... Biz, my vote is for you to keep going with AC/DC. If you're not doing them in order then, my vote is "Back In Black".... Brian's first album with them. :)
@@warren4110 Yes Bon did say that, but it was while he was telling the brothers about "this guy" he saw at a club performing. He was telling them how good this singer was and then jokingly said "If anything ever happens to me, he's the guy you should get to replace me". Bon was just being funny.... Turns out, it wasn't so funny after all, it was more like FATE!! :)
Michael great post, I have been into them since 76, and they have in my blood and life ever since , Yes,Bon was The True AC/DC sound but as you said Brian was the perfect choice , he has done the best job and they have and went on to make many many Epic albums and Legendary Rock Anthems , Miss Bon Always , But Brian we love you , Let's just hope they do a 50th Anniversary tour next year , even if its just a handful of shows i will be there 💯😈 AC/DC are a huge part of my life and in my DNA , The Greatest Rock Band Ever
Biz Great Album reaction. I absolutely love that you did the whole album and I hope you do more AC⚡️DC Album reviews. About Angus Young‘s guitar playing in this song there’s a reason as soon as the first notes of this song are played at any AC/DC live show the crowd yells Angus Angus Angus. It’s just that good. As for your next AC/DC Album.I would really Like you to hear (Dirty deeds done dirt cheap) although I would absolutely like to see you do whatever AC/DC album you choose next. Great job I loved your reactions to the whole album.😀👍❤️✌️🌼
This is classic A/C/DC here man. This band is just a no-nonsense kick ass rock n roll band. And I could never answer the question “which lead singer would I choose?
Fun fact for ya - Malcolm & Angus' older brother George was creating a band called the Easybeats in the '60's with some mates in an immigration centre in Australia after the family migrated from Scotland. George's band was going well, hadn't really hit the big time (yet) when Angus & Malcolm started pestering their brother for guitars. George got them some guitars. Malcolm & Angus would jam together for hours every day. George used to play a piece of music (like, say, Chuck Berry) to Angus & say "play that." 5 minutes later Angus would be playing it, note for note. If you don't want to do the albums chronologically, I'd suggest Powerage or Highway To Hell next. Then maybe dabble in some Brian Johnson era, a massively underrated album is Flick Of The Switch. The songs Bedlam In Belgium, Landslide & Brainshake will blow your mind.
I stumbled upon this song on the radio WAAAY back in the day, and had no idea who it was. It drew me in like crazy. Found out it was ACDC, then the "Back In Black" album came out and I was sold for life. 40 years, I'm still rocking their stuff. Biz, you gotta do the radio staple "It's A Long Way To The Top If You Want To Rock n' Roll" soon. Killer stuff! Enjoy the ride, B.

That’s why I prefer the Old AC/DC more. Brian’s great but Bon and the band had that raw primal sound. True bad boy rock for those of us that may or may not have a couple issues. Lol
Bro! AC/DC leaves one speechless don’t they? This song takes me back to 1978-79. In high school we had live bands playing dances at school once a month. There was a local band called Rail! They would play this song twice a night. Seen them even at a college dance and played this song.
I don't shower with gasoline, but I freakin love AC/DC! I'll never forget when I first discovered them. I didn't have the money to buy the album, but I had a transistor radio that I carried everywhere just in case they played AC/DC. I didn't want to miss it! I wasn't even driving yet! Haha!

Angus' downward chord progression after the back and forth is fire. Thanks for the reaction to this classic. Fire, just straight fire. Keep the gasoline away from that fire lol!!
It’s AC/DC…..turn it up! ❤️🎼🤘😎you know Malcolm will hold that rhythm guitar until it’s time to let Angus go…….brothers having fun. RIP Malcolm Young- one of the best rhythm guitarists ever.

AC/DC have put out 23 albums of original material. I can't recall a bad song they put out. You have enough material to do a song a day for a year. If you leave it up to your audience, they won't let you stop until there are no more songs, then they will go back wanting you to do all the live versions, then the different concert versions of the same songs. By the time you get all that done, they will have out another album or two. They won't stop until all the original members are buried. Don't be surprised if there's still unwritten songs making the charts decades after they die. You started the rabbit hole. Chose well how you navigate it.
Whatever Album next, hope it more from this era. Either album they made before this or after. Not sure what album Dirty Deeds and Jailbreak is on, but in the mood for more of this. Not heard most of these tracks since 1980's. Loving re-visiting AC/DC from the Bon Scott mid and late 70's stuff.
I grew up listening to AC/DC and saw them live three times. Awesome live band, AWESOME! I'll be a fan of AC/DC until my last breath and I have owned everything they have put out for a long time but "Highway to Hell" & "Back in Black" are easily the best albums they ever put out IMO. There are some incredible songs on other albums, but as a whole album nothing else they did could touch those two albums. "For Those About to Rock, We Salute You" is also a great song and album and a little bit underrated and should be given a listen as well.
Bon's LIVE version is the ultimate sound on IF YOU WANT BLOOD which is the only LIVE album with BON SCOTT. That's the version to check out. This studio version sounds like they're recording LIVE anyway. I think it is LIVE.
A song based on a true story about a woman named Rosie that Bon Scott met while touring that wasn't the best looking but gave him an incredible time. The guitar tones on this track in particular are so nasty with that great gritty distortion...nothing Rocks harder than this!!
This was great. I'm always trying to get people to react to their performances from the 1970s. The concert at River Plate was great but everyone and their grandmother has reacted to the same thing. Wish you have the video where you could see them perform on stage with Bon Scott and not just the audio version. You're missing out on everything.

Don't fret. You still have the "Highway To Hell" and "Back In Black" albums (among others to check out). Not one weak song on either album. They will tear up your world in a great way. You rock, dude!

If it's a choice between Brian Johnson and Bon Scott, it's Bon Scott. Every time.
Brian for me !
YES bon scot > Brian Johnson. Both are great imo...

My favorite line of the song is "Weighing In At 19 Stones" 2:42 A stone is an old British weight measure and each stone is 14 pounds, hence she weighs 266 lbs.so there is a Whole Lot of Rosie!

Originally the last song was Crabsody in Blue, look it up, give it a listen. In the 70s was not considered suitable for US consumption.
Bon Scott had such swagger look for live in paris1979
This is a banger... pure rock n roll... combines the best of Chuck Berry and Little Richard played at maximum decibels in a crossfire hurricane.
You’re doing it right with original cuts first. Now you’re ready for the Live version at River Plate.
