My favourite AC/DC song full stop...this studio version is what epitomises everything that is AC/DC. IMHO, the greatest rock-'n'-roll song ever.

But this one, Problem Child, is the standout track on the album. The lyrics, like my man said, are too cold.

This was my teenager get back at parents song. Every time I was grounded. Upstairs STOMP STOMP STOMP, door SLAM AS HARD AS I COULD. Record player as loud as it would go "IM A PROBLEM CHILD" at least 10x over and ober again. Classic. Love it.

It was the summer of 78, I was shoehorning a V-8 in to a Gremlin when my cousin Dicky bird slid into the driveway in his 74 red Vette , stood up on the seat and yelled " Hey ! Zoro do ya want to go see AC/DC with Cheap Trick .. NOW !' I threw down the wrench hopped in, he handed me a cold Bud and we pealed out sideways. Listening to AC/DC all the way . 79 miles, to one of the best Concerts ever. A Whole Lota Rosie ! I'm 66 and still a hard rockin hard fightin hard ass , Problem Child !
This was on the Australian Dirty Deeds album put out in '76. But at the end of the song, they start up again with an instrumental, just like at the end of Gone Shootin' from Powerage. On that album also was Rock in Peace which I believe didn't come out on any of the U.S. albums. But then we didn't get Love at First Feel on a studio album. That came out as a B side single I think. The album cover was hand drawn with all the boys in a pool hall. You'll find it on the 'net. On Bon's arm on that cover he has a tattoo. When I turned 21 I got really stoned and had it tattooed to my left shoulder. Mum wasn't too impressed. Almost 32 years ago now.
Bon was a genius with his lyrics. No other rock star manages to personify an over the top rock star while being someone you feel like you know him. I honestly believe me and him would have been buddies and I bet every other AC DC fan feels the same.
This song originally was on the Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap album.
You should do that album all the way through... as long as you don't mind hearing Bon Scott sing about his balls... 🤔

The Bon Scott era was the best! “I am hot, and when I’m not, I’m cold as ICE!” What an introduction. Those Australians ain’t playing! Living thru that time was awesome! I would love to go back to see them in the early 70’s playing and getting in bar fights in Australia!
Even Angus was so young he had that special bluesrock feeling and tone on his guitar......
Bon Scott is a fabulous lyricist.He talks about pain,trouble and what you got is a fun song.Great reaction.

'High Voltage', 'Highway To Hell', 'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap', and, 'Powerage', are 4 other 70's albums worthy of reacting to.
Live Wire from the High Voltage album is right up there with Problem Child for sheer greatness. The secret to AC/DC'S classic 70's stuff was really Malcolm Young's vision for what the basic structure of the song would sound like,with Scott tailoring his vocals to Malcolm's songwriting. Of course you knew you were going to get an Angus guitar solo thrown in for good measure. Some people didn't like it, thinking the Angus solos were too predictable.

I've already told him to buy the "Let there be rock" CD of that whole concert. I wish he would i know he would love it. I have it and i've watched it a hundred f***Ing times. I was twelve years old when i snuck in and saw it in the theater with my brother and best friend. It was rated R. There was so much pot smoke in the air you Couldn't help but get stoned just sitting there.

Due to different sensibilities between Australia and the US in the 70’s the record company left the last song off this album, a bluesy number called Crabsody In Blue. A play on Rhapsody in Blue, but it was hilarious, lyrics were pure Bon Scott.

Hi first of all, thank you very much for your review and reaction which are fun and smart in the same time ! Because yes !AC/DC music is all fun funky bluesy groovy rock n roll but it is also a very very serious strong deep and powerful music and lyrics. These 5 musicians dedicated to rock n roll music are also top players and song writers. Absolutely every songs of Bon Scott times are pure rock n roll dope ! ACDC is also a bridge between many musics because it’s filled up with Blues, Rock but with a roll ! A groovy thing with a kinda RNB funky in it that makes you wanna dance.
As Malcolm Young (RIP) said there is not a lot of true rock n roll band in history, maybe only 2 : The Rolling Stones and AC/DC !
They are one of a kind band !

Shocked this wasn't blocked. YT almost always blocks AC/DC's classic studio recordings ('75-'79) with Bon Scott on lead vocals. Since you got this one through, you may as well try "Live Wire" from the album High Voltage. Another straight banger from the Scott era.

I think you should go through and do albums in full. Like do a quick review of each song in between, but cutting together a full album in one video would be great, that way you can be introduced to all of the ACDC catalog in a reasonable time

Hey Bizmatic if you do decide to do another full album from acdc - which I know is tough and the censors are the censors - shit you might as well start at the very beginning with - High Voltage from 1973!!! It’s definitely raw because it is their first album ever out of the gate so to speak and they definitely hadn’t honed their craft yet being so young but it was the start of everything to come for the next 50 years!!!!! Just saying if you choose too do another full album that’s my vote and I’m all for it anyway!!!! You asked hombre!!! No other reaction artist has ever done it that’s for damn sure!!!! There you go.
