Great contact Glenn. Wow loud and proud. The system especially the Siro is working very well. It is great to see that you had a very nice contact ... Sounding great cousin.
Thanks cousin,, did you learn anything lol.. I know you are struggling for contacts on your astro plane maybe you should swap out for a rubber duckie 😂😂😂
Yes I was impressed too..I had been listening to him for a few minutes and was impressed by the modulation and is why I asked him what he was using.. tbh it's the first 7900 I have heard that sounds this way.
How did the sirio perform against your 1/4 waves you were using i have looked at that antenna few times but it keeps reminding me of a k40 load mobile antenna or the ancient A S NIG MOMMA mobile antenna i am more partial to the full .68 or .75 antennas no loads not because i run hot i only do 40 w pep but just like old design full antennas ,no short cuts
Hi George.. it's difficult to say at the moment if any real performance difference is noticeable.. the quarter wave performed exceptionally well on the pond jump the last time around but so far my incoming signals seem very low so far.. but that could be down to mother nature.. overall though there doesn't seem to be any significant difference.. time will tell.
@@georgegetterdone896Those pond jump signals are starting to rise George so hang in there my friend, im sure at some point conditions allowing of course we will make the contact.
Very nice Glen! Liking that Yasue! 😶🌫
Thanks Gazza, but im being honest when I say I prefer my Stryker every time for eleven meters it's so much better. 👍

Nice rig for sure.✌✌
Thank you for the compliment, I don't use it as often as I should tbh I prefer the Stryker on 11 meters.
Wow the 7900 sounded really well

@@DeltaXray444 glad my antenna hasn't died...it's been dead weeks now occasionally I find one or two contacts with no competition then does again
