This is a lot like buying a printer. We now know to figure in the cost of replacement ink cartridges to find the best deal. I think the same criteria should apply to coffee machines and their pods.

@@JustADad Smart girl. it's the best for your money and only costs me about 10cents a cup, because I use my own Coffee. I use Cafe Bustelo In Mine which is a coffee lots of Spanish People use because it has that rich dark, Lightly Bitter Roasted Espresso Coffee Taste. That's why my iced coffee my K-Cafe makes tastes so insanely good. Plus I use Stevia in mine "1 Tablespoon" and it's Amazing. Glad your happy with yours, I know I am. :o)

Tassimo have been doing the bar code technology before any of the coffee manufactures, unfortunately they left the U.S market a few years ago and concentrated on the European market. However, there are excellent quality American version used machines. Tassimo pod technology is superior to Keurig and Nespresso.

That foam you referred to in the espresso part is actually called the crema and that is one of the main requirements for espresso to be deemed as espresso, I’d recommend using clear glasses for your shots in these videos so that we can see the composition of the shots

It's not really Crema, it's more of a Foam, when compared to a real espresso machine. I wouldn't go as far as calling it real Crema..
The main reason I would get any of these: Affogatos. Take a hot double shot and pour it over one scoop of your favorite ice cream. If you're a coffee ice cream lover, it's to die for.

I bought the K Cafe for a Black Friday deal for $100. After almost 2 years I can now say I wish I had a Nespresso. Just bc the Keurig drinks taste kind of weak, thanks for the video

You should try with heavy cream, it’ll make wonderful froth.
My son has the Nespreso…love the taste. My family goes through 5 cups a day so I went with the K-Cups. I get great comments from guests when I make them a latte.

Hey, I didn't know you had another video. I bought the Keurig Special Edition, It makes a nice cup of coffee, But i notice there isnt much Crema in their espresso shot :o/
Love the Cappuccino and Latte it makes, The Cold Coffee is Really off the hook and Amazing, I would say its Starbucks Worthy if not even better "Cold Latte" I was really impressed. I would Say the Cold Coffee option is probably the best tasting option.
Anyways I was looking to make sure I made the right decision on Coffee maker, Because I notice the K Cafe takes a while to heat up and not like my older Keurig that was ready, I guess its because of the expresso process? Also it makes quite a bit of a mess because the cup sits so low and there is no way to adjust the drip tray, I find myself cleaning my counter and machine as well after every cup of coffee and that can be a Nuisance at times. I wanted to go with Nespresso because a friend of mine had one and it made a great cup of coffee, but I really can't justify the price of the pods when I can use my own coffee with Keurig K Cafe and only dish out about 10 cents a cup or maybe even less as I get 4 pounds of Cafe Bustelo on sale at BJ's for usually 10 bucks.
Anyways, Thanks for the video. So far I'm liking the Keurig, but I will see if there is a hack for the Nespresso machine so I can brew my own brand of coffee and not use their overpriced pods :o/
The Keurig is a nice coffee maker, Just realize the Espresso shot it makes is more of a Concentrated Coffee shot, you really don't get that Crema on top of the expresso like a true espresso. The Keurig makes some great drinks and is easy to clean up other than the splattering you are talking about on the counter, yeah I get that too.

I thought this was interesting in regards to the espresso: "The foamy layer at the top of your espresso is caused by too much air being incorporated into the extraction process." So maybe in this case, the Keurig had it right and the others didn't? Maybe someone can enlighten me on that, as I'm clueless as to espresso. I like to drink it but have no clue as to the science behind it! :). LOVE your videos. I think I'm leaning towards the Keurig. Thank you!

hi, erika 👋 the the foamy top layer aka the "crema" is aerated coffee which holds a lot of the aroma; some machines use pressure to push the water through the ground coffee and some machines use centrifugal force, but basically the higher the bars of pressure or faster the force, the thicker the crema will be. Traditionally, the mark of a good espresso is a thick crema, but that's not everyone's cup of t̶e̶a̶ coffee 😆🥁 and at the end of the day what matters is that you're enjoying what you're drinking! ☕🖤

So is that foam from the spinning one crema? Even with the regular brew? That coffee looks the most delicious at least, but the pods are expensive. ~ 70¢ a piece instead of 25¢ - 50¢ for k cups. But still cheaper than $2.50 and some gas to get it from a cafe I suppose

Starbucks stopped making pods as well as the machine. There is at least one company making pods but since they don’t make this machine any more I doubt the pods will be available from anyone long term.

Look for CBTL, K-fee, or Caffitaly pods. They're all the same.
Where do you buy your Verimso pods? I have been having a hard time finding them in stores..
Great Question. I have purchased them off Amazon, The only problem is you have to buy them is a big box sometimes. I have heard that They might stop selling these pods. I am seeing a lot of people selling their machines on Facebook marketplace. not sure what is going on with them.

Pro tip: The Verismo machine will also accept CBTL, Caffitaly, and K-fee pods. They're the same shape and size.

@@GulieKurd Sorry about that, So the Nespresso pods can be a little hard to find. The original line is sold at Target and bed bath and beyond. The nespresso Vertuoline is kinda hard to find in a store. Both are sold on the Nespresso web site and on Amazon. Thanks for being good and funny!!👍👌🤣😊
