Really shows how much personality Stewart Copeland put into his playing.
Such a great player. Awesome parts & such a vibe.
I really love the snap of that snare.
The economy of movement is inspiring. Very little in the way of wasted motion or energy! Cheers!
Loved:
- hand technique
- the smooth, precision playing
- hi-hat sound
- drum lay out
Didn't love:

Nice job 👍
High class and very stylish drumming! Who gives thumbs down for this?!
Cool drum set-up. Louie has become my favorite drummer/instructor.
Great performance!!
Played perfectly, sounds beautifully. Thanks for this
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! Agree. Great cymbal sound. Awesome playing!
Oh man, I missed that cool ending they do when they play it live. But really awesome stuff as usual.
Superb display of drum skills! Love it. You are so good at that. Keep it up.
Just pure awesome. I’m really trying to study your playing a lot. I have been playing for 5 years. I am trying to get to another level.
Stunning drumming
My goodness those cymbals sound perfect
Cost more than the drums
Very solid in-the-pocket smacking drumming, Louie. Quality audio & video production and cracking crisp drum tuning.
particoular the position of that hi-hat charleston 🥳
Mate; really loved this ... have been listening to The Police and Sting a lot more recently - one of my fav you tubers (Rob “Beatdown” Brown 🥁) always talks about The Police and Stu Copeland. Thanks again - inspirational
🙏🏼 🎵⚡️🥁🇦🇺
Espectacular...!!!!!!!
Cómo suenan esos tambores.
🥁🔥🔥🔥
Saludos desde Argentina.
Very nice Louie! 👏🏽🥁
Great interpretation Louie
Thanks!
Terrific job!!👍
Super job!!!Congratulations.
Waoo - the best by far of all the covers - magic!
Your technique is flawless...wow super nice Copeland groove done perfect
Thanks!
Wow! Bravo!
Great drummer, great sound, excellent technique. I am talking about both Stewart and Louie.
Thanks!
Very very nice! first time I see one of your videos. Btw, your layout is very clever (hihat on the right, just below the ride, floor tom on the left).
I've thought for a while that a hat on the right would be great to open up the hands. I'd like 1 to the left also. Listening to this has truly made my day. God bless you
That's so great! You sound too good, Louie! Awesome drumming!
Thanks!
Sweet! Hope to see some more covers in the future. Very tasty playing. And that snare sounded like you stole it from Stewart. Perfectly tuned.
Thanks!
Fantastic share and Tom Tom set up!
Thanks!
Awesome!
David Washington, KDJW Anchor
Great!
Other drums except from the snare is inaudible. Great playing!
Bravo
Love your playing on this Louie! What snare are you using? Thanks.
Thanks! Snare is Pearl 14x5 Brass free-floater
@@louiepalmerdrums Awesome!! Thanks Louie.
So awesome.
First, sir! Really love this 🙌🏼✨
Thanks!
Like the muting with the forefinger on the ride 👍
Interesting setup
I like it alot
Interesting setup, Tom1 and Hi-hat switch, looks comfort to play. Is that your main setup Louie?
Yes!
@@louiepalmerdrums Yes i admit that i tryed out the same with my Roland kit last night, I like it alot. Played 30years crossing and not thought about it, before now haha
Tom2 not 1 i notis when remapping :)
Are You back using the Buddy Rich signature sticks?
Kind of...experimenting
Always wanted to put my hats in the middle like that
Nice work thought this was not your halley
I have so many drums sets my wife do t want me to buy any more sets but I do this set so if you will sale to me I will buy it but I will be in the dog house for a while haha
Potere della pelata 🤟🏻🧑🏼🦲
Love the track from beginning to end, and I am not traying to be picky....I just wish the toms were a bit more musical. Hi hat and ride work were on point!!!
I believe (too lazy to look up) the great Vinnie Colauita was the drummer for the Police for th majority of the 80's.
Stewart Copeland
@@Darkman24 ahhhh that's right. I know Vinnie did at least one concert tour with em.
yeah that is lazy...The Police was Copelands band and no other drummer played with them.
Sting supported Vinnie during his solo career early 90s
@@adamsylvan5466 That made me laugh!
Superb display of drum skills! Love it. You are so good at that. Keep it up.
