@Joseph The meaning of the phrase 'living life' is different for every person. I personally enjoy building my body by sticking to a proper diet and working out. In the long term, I know THIS makes me more happy than playing video games for hours, drinking alcohol or watcing Netflix all the time. Sure I do those things, but only occasionally. And the fact that I'm going to die does not change my perspective. In fact, it motivates me more to live a meaningfull life before I'm gone.
@Joseph living life is different from one to another , but the most important is being thankfull for what you have and try to live your life as happy as possible
Rituals are a great thing, they can be literally used for anything. For example before I do a test I will repeat to myself that I will ace the test, and believe or not I usually end up doing better
@@mango1162 it’s basically saying if you believe you can succeed and work for success you will succeed in the end. If believe you’ll fail and dont work to success you’ll fail. That makes perfect sense. “Polluting” lmao
I loved idea #3. Following positive daily rituals are a great way to put yourself in the right mindset. Whenever I have to workout, I have a ritual of listening to motivational speeches while I eat a healthy preworkout meal. For whatever reason it hypes me up for my workout and puts me in the right state of mind.
In all honesty this is something I needed. I've been going through a lot and doing a lot lately and I've been trying to figure out who I am. I realized that I grew a lot more as a person when in comparison with my peers due to me moving 7 times and across the country and now those I once knew seem so different.
The actors part reminds me of what me at my old job. They knew me as a certain way (a “doormat”) for the 5 years I’ve worked there, but when I made the switch to a newer job, I got the opportunity to act a totally different way (like being more confident)
"Everything is a gamble" That has been sticking out to me like a sore thumb for the past year and a half. There's stuff I want to do, but I shy away from them because I feel like I'll get hurt. In reality, I get hurt more by not trying those things. Over the past week, it has become very apparent to me that I just have to get out of playing it safe and play the dangerous game, because f*** it...the game's already dangerous as is. If I were to add one thing to this point, I'd say that no matter what choice you make, at the end of the day, realize that it'll not end your life. You'll be alive even if you "fail" and you'll be fine no matter what happens. This is something that I'm telling myself a lot and I'm slowly making this a mindset that I can live by. It certainly makes it easier to take "huge" gambles when you realize that everything is a gamble and that no matter what happens, you'll be fine. Thank you for the amazing content as always, Richard!
