Ulfheim would be better, Ulf being Old Norse for Wolf (Ulfheimr to be totally accurate)

Teleporter organization:
Main teleporter room has one teleporter to "main base" or "hub" on each island.
Each island "main base" or "hub" has a smaller teleporter room with a teleporter to each outpost on that island.

Hi, great video, as always. Before watching Idicus's video on the Grey Dwarf Spawner, I'd tried the Campfire and Hearth versions, and found that the fire prevented the Grey Dwarves from spawning.
I built my Breed area from stone, and dug it out a bit; my Breeding Wolves were too close and constantly tried to break down the walls to reach the spawner! I was lucky finding my spawner; it was surrounded by huge boulders, so I built a cool base on them overlooking the pit.
I feed my Wolves in the spawner pit, and they do have babies (of course!) but the two star babies are generally tough enough to survive. I dug a side-alley for my Wolves, and covered it with a roof, putting the food there; the babies generally stay in that area until they have grown. Only the two star Brutes do any real damage.
I have had to build so many storage boxes; there's so much loot generated!
Make a deathsquito army man. You can tame them with bloodbag
They can even oneshot the brutes, badass lil buggers!

You could box in your camp fires so the wolves can't get in.

I understand your take on modding this game. I've had problems with my anti virus whilst modding green hell and raft but honestly modding this game was smooth. No issues at all. I've installed them manually and not with a mod manager program because in my experience triggers the anti virus more likely. I was a bit annoyed that the mob loot took a few seconds to drop so I got a mod to make them instant drops and it makes the game just that more enjoyable imo. Just one of many little things. I'm enjoying your Valheim content either way ;-)
"How far do you have to be?" It spawns when the game mechanics draw the object. So as long as your close enough to see it I believe. Also I believe the spawns stop spawning if it's within a work bench area. Enemies can't spawn in that area. So make sure your work benches are far enough away.
Braziers do not take damage when they burn enemies. You could possibly make a slide out of 45 degree roofs going into a box with a brazier set at floor level (You need to put a post to hang it from then delete the post).
I've only been able to find 2 star boars at night during a storm. Idk if that's the only way but those are the only conditions that I've seen 2 stars

@Kage848 Wolves heal over time, the same way your character does
You can prevent greydwarfs attacking the wolves by placing torches, this way the wolves can survive longer (mostly because the brutes can land a few hits on them)
Again, kage, put food on the table by using the item stand. That clip in the beginning where you sat on the throne in front of the table would have been dope if there was actually food on the table. Put a piece of lox meat on there and a couple stews. They don't spoil anyway. Would definitely look much better.

I dont understand why you need a 2 star boar. If you have a spawner that drops endless supply of boars then you shouldnt run out. Now i guess i can understand getting more meat for each carrot consumed, but other than that there really isnt a need to have the 2 star. 👍 Kage you 🤟 keep it up loving absolutely loving the content.
you don't need a wolf to cut trees for you, you need Scott from Mist Survival

Just have 1 portal at ur base, and have that connected to a off-site base with all ur portals, maybe under ur elder spawn, so its kinda a sealed cave
To clear the fog just use the F5 console and type env Clear
if you are worried about your wolves dying, use torches using excess resin and wood. it should freak out the greydwarves and keep your wolf safe.
u could build a second teleport room undermeath you current one, something like a cave setup
About time you make one of them mob grinders.😆

About the portal room... Couldn't you just create a hub off base that you could travel to and then be able to jump through any of your other portals. I imagine it like some people do nether hubs in minecraft. That way it could be absolutely massive and you wouldn't need to fit it all in your base.
that farm should run forever because even if they kill a wolf it will drop meat and then the wolves will eat it then breed a new cub.
This is cool and all, but what's the point? Greydwarves don't drop anything worth going through all this work over, and you can find them literally everywhere if you need some greydwarf eyes.
You really can't set a wolf breeder in the pit or you'll just have a pit of dead pups
kage i know you don't like mods in general but this one can help your teleporter situation. It disables the tag system and implements a dropdown box, all you do is step up to the portal and select from the dropdown which location you want to portal too. it activates you step through.. At the other end you can go to any of your other portals or back to the original. Clears up huge portal rooms. www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/170

just make a 2nd wolf breeder above the farm area so you constantly have wolves spawning to kill the mobs
Do you need to be there for it to work? If not will the loot stay for you til you visit?
You need to be within a certain range fot the mobs to spawn
Don't know if it is render distance or something else but if you go too far away nothing happens.
When you done with this you should build using creative mode.id be interested in that untill new updates show up

If you are worried about mods and anti-virus, you can run valheim on Linux, it works absolutely great and you'd have a much safer system.
I hope you can get help with your anxiety, I used to have ALOT of anxiety, and it aint fun to limit your life just to not worry

The new biome Mistlands is already in the game, just hasn't any purpose yet. Also they could just expand the whole map with your seed and new content around the current map

Did they change the teleporter thing where you could change the name and if you jumped through quickly it would work send you to the one it was connected to before you put the name on it?! I changed the name on one and quickly jumped through and it didn't send me anywhere.

Kage, your video's are too good for me to ever give you a dislike, but this "farm" is garbage.
You need to be in the area for the spawner to work.
We all know farming can be boring, but you just replaced the boring part of running around with the even more boring task of just standing afk near a hole.
I suppose you can get a bit faster resin from this kind of farm, but honestly just wait till its night time and run thru the Black Forest, its more fun and you get the same amount of resin.
If you as a streamer or someone who likes to stand AFK for longer periods, this "farm" makes sense but other than that i think it's a waste of time.
Btw, did you know boars will eat : Raspberries'. Blueberries' and Mushrooms?
