When I was researching hotels I was planning to stay in myeongdong, yes it's probably more expensive but like you said, it's efficient and everything is there which is comforting for someone like me who's never been to Seoul and haven't travelled much

Myeongdong is definitely one of my favorite neighborhoods in Seoul. I used to go there at least every other week for shopping, drinks or food. There are some really good cake places there too 🙌💯🍰🧁

I used to go to Seoul 2, 3 times a year and stayed in Myeongdong every time. Like what you said, it is very convenience for food, shopping and transportation. Please keep updating this area and changes during a COVID-19 as I definitely will go again once the pandemic is over. Btw, your English is really good.

whenever i wanted to do a lot of shopping and get full on street food, myeongdong was my fave place to go to!! also i looooved the olive young that was there that is sort of a basement location, the staff there were the kindest people i met and it wasnt as busy as other olive young locations i had been to which is surprising. i hope its still there the next time i go!! i love these videos, they make me miss korea even more
Hi Marie, I love how you take your little girls everywhere! For 명동 or like 남산 tower, is it possible or would you recommend taking (or not taking) stroller? Also, how or where do you take your kids when they have to use the restroom? Thanks for all your tips esp for family with little one!
I didn’t usually take my stroller anywhere just used the baby carrier. And tried to use the bathrooms in larger dept stores or public places, or restaurants. 💜💜
Hi Marie. Whenever I go somewhere new (this will be my first time in South Korea) I like to buy souvenirs for myself, mainly t-shirts. Which, if any, market(s) would you recommend I check out? I will be arriving in Seoul on August 28 and staying at a hotel in Myeongdong.
Marie's Kawaii World went there February last year and it was crowded! But I love Myeongdong. Didn’t realize that there was a nice mall across it. Definitely want to go back to explore more. Right now, I’m just living vicariously through you. Thank you! ♥️
