just got back from Seoul last week and i visited this neighbourhood and loved it! i always have my bagels at SF Bagels and hot chocolate at Coffee Libre
Hi Marie just wanted to say thank you for your wonderful videos. They partly inspired my partner and I to visit Seoul and we had the best time! Since we came back we watch your videos to think back on our holiday and feel happy! Hope you’re having a great time
Wow, this is such a nice comment and definitely brought a smile to my face. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your trip to Korea and have been able to re-live your memories through my videos 😀 Thank you!!
So many stops; I would be so broke wanting to eat everywhere, lol. But looks very hopping and can keep you busy for weeks. Thanks for sharing, Marie. Keep exploring and having fun. God bless yours and you! :)
Hi Melissa! Yes this is a bottomless pit of cute cafes and restaurants!! It's such a gem. I love this neighborhood and I'm glad I could share it with you :)
I just got back from Korea and stayed at Yeonnam-dong but i was not able to go to the famous Yeonnam-dong cafe.. It will be on my list next time. But i was really satisfied trying other restaurants on the neighbourhood. I'll be saving this vid as reference for my next visit. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️
I haven't explored Tokyo as thoroughly, but I would say Shimokitazawa is kind of similar, although its more organic I think and a little less packed with businesses.
TFS Marie , that cafe yeongnam dong with B/w interior is so cool, enjoyed all the cafes you shared. How did you manage to go to so many with your kids in a day? 😍
Your comment about Cafe Skön being kind of like Ikea is really funny because Skön in Swedish actually means comfortable. The pronunciation is like, "sk" sounds like "sh" as in shirt "ö" is tricky to explain but like the e in the name Merle, like Merle Haggard. and n is just n. I wonder if they realised the double meaning there. I noticed in another video you went to Åland and I giggled when you said the name because it's actually the name of an autonomous island off the coast of Finland which is Swedish speaking. The å sounds the o in 'bore' so it's more like O land (with a short a) :D
@@MariesKawaiiWorld Haha no! No worries! I'm American and I know how hard our languages are to pronounce :D You did fine! I just thought it would be fun to let you know what the words mean :D My sister is in Korea studying right now and I was cackling when she sent me a picture of åland :D
Hi. Awesome video as always. Just a request, could you do a yongsan electronic flea market please... currently stationed at camp humphreys, n I want to go check it out sometime soon. Would love to know which section is the cheapest cuz I heard It’s huge. 🙂 thank you 😊
What kind of products are you looking to buy? To be honest I feel like that market is so outdated and it's cheaper to buy stuff online thru gmarket. I am not super familiar with all the areas though. I did buy a used cell phone on the top floor of iPark mall (right near the electronics market) when I had to send in my iphone for repair to the states, and I was happy with it. There was a thriving secondhand cell phone market there.
Haunani Tirso ah ok. I don’t know where to buy games but definitely the top floor of iPark mall at Yongsan station for cell phones. Someone also told me that at Sindorim station you can buy used cell phones but I haven’t been there.
We went to cafe skön and they were super, super rude! It was empty but they wouldn't let us sit down because I wanted cake not coffee. They said my husband could sit with his coffee but I'd have to wait outside in the sweltering heat with my cake!

I like how you change the music in every clip. Each music fits the theme so well!
Ah! Thank you for noticing the music!! :) I'm glad you like it! Editing has so many parts and music is one fo them. :)
This video was so helpful~ planning to go to Yeonnam-dong pretty soon, too!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed this video!!
Great video, as always! There are just too many interesting places to visit in Seoul.

Very good. All movies from You are very good. Thank You!

Everything is so cute! Question, is there a place similar to this in Japan? Like, small streets with cafes and shops where one can explore?
I haven't explored Tokyo as thoroughly, but I would say Shimokitazawa is kind of similar, although its more organic I think and a little less packed with businesses.
Really helpful content 😊
Thanks glad you like it!!

Hi Emily!! Eek I mispronounced everything. Lol thanks for letting me know how to properly pronounce it!

Could it be possible in the near future to make a video on more of healthy alternative restaurants and put them all into one video?
Thank you
Hi! That’s a great idea. I’ll think about what I can include
Thanks for this, we have kids in tow so maybe will pass on this area, but still good to know
There are so many other areas to explore :)
YES!! Thank You Marie, Thank You soooo much
I hope you can go!! :)

Hi, does the Slow Kali (Pole Bowl) shop serves meat / alcohol?
No, I don't think so. It's mostly seafood & veggies.
