I met Harry during fashion week right before his death! He had the ability to make people feel good about themselves at their shittiest. He was genuinely nice and people said that about him even before his death. RIP Harry 🥺♥️

For the people saying he was in some way at fault for what happened since he ‘agreed’ to meet for the fight: he wanted it over with. This man had been messing with his life for so long, coming onto his friend the previous night even though she said no, spreading rumours, bombarding him with messages and calls, and so much more. I think eventually a lot of people would reach a point of just ‘enough already’. He wasn’t only screwing with Harry, but with the people he loved and cared about and it is clear it see Harry cared about everyone he surrounded himself with and wanted them safe

Self control is so important. Don't ever get into a fight whether physical or verbal with someone beneath you. They think they have nothing to lose because their aim is to destroy you.

@@8tyHD Some people are definitely beneath others and the worst thing is that they put themselves in that position. When you put somebody on a pedestal and think of them as "superior" to you(Like how George thought himself beneath Harry) then you're actively accepting your own "inferiority" to them, you look UP at them and use the attribute you envy(looks, money, relationships, opportunities) as a bar of comparison to your own person finding yourself "lacking." Such a shame that George's own inferiority complex destroyed the lives of these two promising young men, as Eleanor said had he simply just reached out to Harry as a mentor then I'm sure he would have helped him like a brother until he was confident enough in himself and his own self-worth.
Let us not forget the subject of this video. Harry was such a wonderful person and a real light in the modelling community. Knife crime is abhorrent and so much work needs to be done to prevent it. Harry didn't deserve to have his life taken so brutally and callously. I hope he's resting peacefully ♥

My main reason for leaving the above comment was mainly because at the time of writing it, I was looking through the comments and most of them were mainly focusing on just Eleanor with little to no mention of Harry, the crime that was committed, or Harry's friends and family. Whilst I absolutely adore Eleanor and her incredible content, it unsettled me to see no engagement in the actual case and wanted to draw attention to it. My other reasons were to raise awareness to the end message about the struggle to handle knife crime, and also to allow for a moment's reflection on Harry. It's common for people to binge-watch true crime videos without taking the time to think about the real-life person whose life was brutally taken away, and the important lessons we can learn from the events that transpired. I've had people be viciously jealous of me like this. Thank God they've never resorted to physical violence. But they seethe with this un-natural jealousy and vitriol. And forget trying to be nice & understanding, it doesn't work. I did everything from giving people large amounts of cash when the office sent around sympathy cards, to organizing parties for office mates in order to celebrate their special occasions (when nobody else cared or remembered). And they still & spit in my face. It's down right spooky how these people (who don't really know you) can just hate you when your intentions are good. And listen, if your motives are suspect, it doesn't matter much and you can brush it off. But.... if you're really authentic like I was? It hurts like hell. Now, I want all that read this to hear me... and hear me well. In fact, I'm still working on my self esteem due to a horrid, toxic & abusive, narcissistic mother who made me doubt my reason for existing. Some people are just so incredibly miserable they will hate you and be jealous of things you don’t really even think about (e.g having parents who aren’t divorced). So many people have wished ill on my family and my parents simply because we don’t hate each other and have healthy family relationships. These people will literally latch on to the one thing you have that they don’t and hate all of you because of it, constantly trying to bring you down and overall just being super negative about everything to do with you. If it’s not you, it’s someone else: they will always find someone to hate and be resentful of for one reason or another. Projection at its finest.

I just honest to god ONLY see this mentioned by white people). My parents separated at a young age but I could care less about being jealous of people with both parents. I got lost walking home from kindergarten (was supposed to wait but it was my second day of school in general so I didn't really remember), I seen the half way point, a gas station and walked in on a armed robbery. You'd call the clerk "my first friend", he was always extremely nice to me, so you can imagine the shock of a 5 year old seeing a usually happy adult with tears in his eyes begging to wait and let the boy leave and off comes 85% of his head. Before I could make sense of the hissing and gurgling was coming from where his head/jaw used to be ,I felt myself lift up, on fire, no air, fly threw the door, three hits to the chest, one on my left side, two on my arm and one on the other. I have ZERO idea how I survived. I was just glad to be alive and thats a light hearted, tamed experience. Just the closest thing to a Trauma, I could compare to "divorced parents". In all truthfulness, not taking it there, but, black and brown people, about 8 in 10 (on a GOOD day), have similar or worse trauma than me. I actually consider myself lucky. This stuff damage you BAD...what im getting at is we are subjected to so much; blk or brown criminals get told they are playing the "mental health" card but "divorced parents" qualifes for mental distress for a white person? I dont want to touch on the sexual assault (Yes have two of those) we go through. Nothing excuses bad behavior but do we have to say our parents divorced to get our mental health taken seriously? Because being beaten, shot and raped (as a male) is just playing the "mental health excuse"; Thats stuff any normal 6-8 year olds go through

I agree, there's a case in the UK that Eleanor should cover which involves knifecrime and that's the one about Ben Kinsella which is so tragic and heartbreaking and it takes place 10 years before Harry had his life taken away.
Having dealt with an ex who was obsessive about my every move and stalked me for years after we broke up, this story hits so close to home. My heart aches for his family as they lost such a wonderful kind caring person. God bless them. RIP Harry 🕊🙏🏼

I feel so bad for Harry. He really shouldn't have engaged with him, and gone out to fight. It's a hard decision to make in the heat of the moment, and I know if my friend was assaulted by someone I'd want to go beat the guy around too(I have in the past, before I had kids...), but doing something like that isn't worth your safety. I always try to keep myself out of danger, more so these days than when I was younger, because I have to be around for my boyfriends kiddos.

I’m a law student and George’s statement to the police is nearly word for word what the law requires for you to defend yourself from a murder charge. He had a good lawyer before he even went into that interview.

The fact that Harry didn't even carry a knife with him, even though everybody has them at home, shows his intent that he just wanted a confrontation to end Georges weird behaviour. He didn't want to fight for real, he just wanted it to stop. I hope George regret his choice everyday, and that Harry can find some peace whereever his soul has led him. I am sorry that we have lost such an active, young man who could have brought so much joy for people to a horrid, disgusting crime born out of jealousy and hatred for the success of someone else.
I know this might seem weird, but this case made me so uncomfortable I started shivering. I've a person in my life getting obsessed with me and stalking, copying, bashing me trying to take my place and live my life. It's literally one of my worst fears right now. I don't think many people understand the dooming, ominous feeling of someone wearing your "features", slowly growing into a smaller, weirder version of you, copying and eating up everything you ever put out. Every accomplishment you achieve, you have this sinister presence of somebody hyping you up, but being disingenuine and knowing they'd kill you to have it (literally, kill in this case). Please to everyone who's ever been envious of other people: take care of your insecurities and build yourself as the stronger, prettier and intelligent person y'all want to be. Yes. Experienced the same. Had to distance myself from them without announcing it and keeping information about my life to myself. They literally copy everything you do while simultaneously trying to destroy you.
Been there too, nothing creepier than someone trying to be you, even creepier and you have nothing really especial about you, just a normal person living life, and theres someone trying to have your life
True crime can make you so desensitized, and yet this case really hurts to hear. They started from the same point and yet one gained humility, while the other gained hubris. It feels like something out of a classic tragedy, poetic like ficton and yet the story has no happily ever after.

The respect you showed to Harry's story is really admirable. Such a shame that someone that turned his life around from his teen years came up against such a dangerous personality through no fault of his own. He had so much to offer the world outside of modelling but wasn't given the chance to do that because of someone else's jealousy.

I adore Eleanor. She's so fast that I still haven't seen all of her uploads yet despite watching her channel all the time. Eleanor, you are a force to be reckoned with! What I really love and respect about Eleanor that differentiates her from other true crime youtuber storytellers is: 1. It was very obvious to me once I began watching her channel that she was continuously learning how to improve the quality of her content and channel...and applying what she learned incrementally. I can tell she is making improvements based on established recommendations and guidance, doing things shown to be effective...she's not just winging it the way others do. It shows seriousness, dedication, and commitment to quality. I would like to think that it is making it easier and more streamlined for her to produce her content. 2. Eleanor does a great job being objective without incorporating distracting personal opinions or imbalanced emotionality. Stable storytelling makes it easier to focus on the case rather than how the storyteller is feeling about the case. 3. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to laws and culture in other countries. She considers factors that others leave out. Wish I had a good example right now, but I was always impressed with this. 4. Just freaking love the way you report on true crime, Eleanor. Thank you for demonstrating how learning and applying recommended best practices can improve content. That just stuck out to me so much. The incredible part of this story is that Harry was able to RUN back to his apartment and have help with in minutes.He was a truly amazing person and didn't deserve the things that happened to him

I was a kid model in the US. I did more acting than modeling because I hated it. (Now I’m more interested in fashion, but I was a tomboy). I saw a lot of cattiness among the girls, with regard to jobs. It’s interesting to see how the competition and favoritism affects men, as well. It’s so sad that people take it all so personally but when you’re a young person, it’s almost impossible not to. Western culture’s obsession with youth leads to a lot of people getting attention and fame, who aren’t emotionally ready for it. You’re amazing at bringing us stories I’ve never heard before. You definitely do then justice, and bring them to life. If only! But you are keeping the memory of the victims alive, and getting people thinking about why such things happen. We need more channels like this!

@@8tyHD Some people are definitely beneath others and the worst thing is that they put themselves in that position. When you put somebody on a pedestal and think of them as "superior" to you(Like how George thought himself beneath Harry) then you're actively accepting your own "inferiority" to them, you look UP at them and use the attribute you envy(looks, money, relationships, opportunities) as a bar of comparison to your own person finding yourself "lacking." Such a shame that George's own inferiority complex destroyed the lives of these two promising young men, as Eleanor said had he simply just reached out to Harry as a mentor then I'm sure he would have helped him like a brother until he was confident enough in himself and his own self-worth.
Let us not forget the subject of this video. Harry was such a wonderful person and a real light in the modelling community. Knife crime is abhorrent and so much work needs to be done to prevent it. Harry didn't deserve to have his life taken so brutally and callously. I hope he's resting peacefully ♥

My main reason for leaving the above comment was mainly because at the time of writing it, I was looking through the comments and most of them were mainly focusing on just Eleanor with little to no mention of Harry, the crime that was committed, or Harry's friends and family. Whilst I absolutely adore Eleanor and her incredible content, it unsettled me to see no engagement in the actual case and wanted to draw attention to it. My other reasons were to raise awareness to the end message about the struggle to handle knife crime, and also to allow for a moment's reflection on Harry. It's common for people to binge-watch true crime videos without taking the time to think about the real-life person whose life was brutally taken away, and the important lessons we can learn from the events that transpired. I've had people be viciously jealous of me like this. Thank God they've never resorted to physical violence. But they seethe with this un-natural jealousy and vitriol. And forget trying to be nice & understanding, it doesn't work. I did everything from giving people large amounts of cash when the office sent around sympathy cards, to organizing parties for office mates in order to celebrate their special occasions (when nobody else cared or remembered). And they still & spit in my face.
It's down right spooky how these people (who don't really know you) can just hate you when your intentions are good. And listen, if your motives are suspect, it doesn't matter much and you can brush it off. But.... if you're really authentic like I was? It hurts like hell.

I finally figured out that no matter how low my self esteem was, people were still looking at me with envy. So many people have wished ill on my family and my parents simply because we don’t hate each other and have healthy family relationships.
These people will literally latch on to the one thing you have that they don’t and hate all of you because of it, constantly trying to bring you down and overall just being super negative about everything to do with you. I got lost walking home from kindergarten (was supposed to wait but it was my second day of school in general so I didn't really remember), I seen the half way point, a gas station and walked in on a armed robbery. You'd call the clerk "my first friend", he was always extremely nice to me, so you can imagine the shock of a 5 year old seeing a usually happy adult with tears in his eyes begging to wait and let the boy leave and off comes 85% of his head. Before I could make sense of the hissing and gurgling was coming from where his head/jaw used to be ,I felt myself lift up, on fire, no air, fly threw the door, three hits to the chest, one on my left side, two on my arm and one on the other. I have ZERO idea how I survived. I was just glad to be alive and thats a light hearted, tamed experience. Just the closest thing to a Trauma, I could compare to "divorced parents". In all truthfulness, not taking it there, but, black and brown people, about 8 in 10 (on a GOOD day), have similar or worse trauma than me. I actually consider myself lucky. This stuff damage you BAD...what im getting at is we are subjected to so much; blk or brown criminals get told they are playing the "mental health" card but "divorced parents" qualifes for mental distress for a white person? I dont want to touch on the sexual assault (Yes have two of those) we go through. Nothing excuses bad behavior but do we have to say our parents divorced to get our mental health taken seriously? Because being beaten, shot and raped (as a male) is just playing the "mental health excuse"; Thats stuff any normal 6-8 year olds go through

I feel so bad for Harry. He really shouldn't have engaged with him, and gone out to fight. It's a hard decision to make in the heat of the moment, and I know if my friend was assaulted by someone I'd want to go beat the guy around too(I have in the past, before I had kids...), but doing something like that isn't worth your safety. I always try to keep myself out of danger, more so these days than when I was younger, because I have to be around for my boyfriends kiddos.

I’m a law student and George’s statement to the police is nearly word for word what the law requires for you to defend yourself from a murder charge. He had a good lawyer before he even went into that interview.

The fact that Harry didn't even carry a knife with him, even though everybody has them at home, shows his intent that he just wanted a confrontation to end Georges weird behaviour. He didn't want to fight for real, he just wanted it to stop. I hope George regret his choice everyday, and that Harry can find some peace whereever his soul has led him. I am sorry that we have lost such an active, young man who could have brought so much joy for people to a horrid, disgusting crime born out of jealousy and hatred for the success of someone else.
I know this might seem weird, but this case made me so uncomfortable I started shivering. I've a person in my life getting obsessed with me and stalking, copying, bashing me trying to take my place and live my life. It's literally one of my worst fears right now. I don't think many people understand the dooming, ominous feeling of someone wearing your "features", slowly growing into a smaller, weirder version of you, copying and eating up everything you ever put out. Every accomplishment you achieve, you have this sinister presence of somebody hyping you up, but being disingenuine and knowing they'd kill you to have it (literally, kill in this case). Please to everyone who's ever been envious of other people: take care of your insecurities and build yourself as the stronger, prettier and intelligent person y'all want to be. Stop comparing yourself to other people.
And to people who have been in my situation: report it to somebody. Obsession can make every sane man turn insane.

They started from the same point and yet one gained humility, while the other gained hubris. It feels like something out of a classic tragedy, poetic like ficton and yet the story has no happily ever after.

harry was everything george wanted to be. he could've taken these emotions and used them as inspiration or make harry his role model but he had to go out of his way and be envious which in end got him nothing more than further damage to both his career and reputation... it makes me so sad to see how something as mere as jealously snatched a great person from us.

The respect you showed to Harry's story is really admirable. Such a shame that someone that turned his life around from his teen years came up against such a dangerous personality through no fault of his own. He had so much to offer the world outside of modelling but wasn't given the chance to do that because of someone else's jealousy.
Hearing you talk about his life and the way he was such an amazing person is actually making me tear up. People like this don't deserve to die, at least not violently or at a young age. :(

You can absolutely mess someone up with one of those metal bars from a dumbbell, even against someone with a knife. Harry, pure kind soul, probably didn’t actually want to fight even when he was being stabbed.

What I really love and respect about Eleanor that differentiates her from other true crime youtuber storytellers is:
1. It was very obvious to me once I began watching her channel that she was continuously learning how to improve the quality of her content and channel...and applying what she learned incrementally. I can tell she is making improvements based on established recommendations and guidance, doing things shown to be effective...she's not just winging it the way others do. It shows seriousness, dedication, and commitment to quality. I would like to think that it is making it easier and more streamlined for her to produce her content.
2. Eleanor does a great job being objective without incorporating distracting personal opinions or imbalanced emotionality. Stable storytelling makes it easier to focus on the case rather than how the storyteller is feeling about the case.
3. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to laws and culture in other countries. She considers factors that others leave out. Wish I had a good example right now, but I was always impressed with this.
4. Just freaking love the way you report on true crime, Eleanor. Thank you for demonstrating how learning and applying recommended best practices can improve content. That just stuck out to me so much.

The incredible part of this story is that Harry was able to RUN back to his apartment and have help with in minutes.He was a truly amazing person and didn't deserve the things that happened to him

I was a kid model in the US. I did more acting than modeling because I hated it. (Now I’m more interested in fashion, but I was a tomboy). I saw a lot of cattiness among the girls, with regard to jobs. It’s interesting to see how the competition and favoritism affects men, as well. It’s so sad that people take it all so personally but when you’re a young person, it’s almost impossible not to. Western culture’s obsession with youth leads to a lot of people getting attention and fame, who aren’t emotionally ready for it. You’re amazing at bringing us stories I’ve never heard before. You definitely do then justice, and bring them to life. If only! But you are keeping the memory of the victims alive, and getting people thinking about why such things happen. We need more channels like this!
