Bread in the microwave. I use "Clean People" laundry soap sheets works great and liquid soap can freeze. Citric acid is safe and works to clean toilets too. In Camo Fire Girls we used a mesh plastic bag (like what oranges come in) and dip our dishes and silverware in boiling water after scrubbing to sanitize.
I got knife cases and being I'm cooking for 1 or 2 people no need for multiple knives. Actually lately I've been buying cheap Dollar Tree knives and after I wash I'll sharpen in. It works so I'm not complaining but I love how they have covers to shove into my utensils drawer.
Oh my goodness girl you are freaking hilarious! And I love how honest you are. You can get a ladder out. I’m not getting a ladder out. I wouldn’t get a ladder out either.😂😂😂😂 love watching you in the morning. You always make me laugh. you also had great information. Thanks for sharing.
Another great video. You guys have tons of valuable information. I’m brand new in the RV world that I subscribed to you guys a couple months ago. Totally look forward to watching your stuff. Thanks again and safe travels.
Citric acid is just the stuff on sour candies and its usually made from lemons. Usually you can find little jars of it by the jars for canning (usually near the ziplocks if the store has canning stuff).
Be thankful you’re not up here in Canada we have 1 and 2 dollar coins as well as quarters, I only the 1 dollar coins and quarters but keeping track of enough laundry money is challenging indeed
Those essential oils are actually toxic and can be overwhelming for some. I only use them if I can contain it to one small room and I unfortunately don't do it often. Actually what works great at odors is activate charcoal in little jars hidden around the house. I lived in a roach infested place and each month they sprayed Raid and that stink is awful so that's when I did activated charcoal and sucked up that toxic smell. Also activated charcoal is what is used in water filters, air filters and emergency rooms use it. If someone is poisoned they will administer charcoal (unless you have an allergy).
@H37P5kY57 When used PROPERLY essential oils are not toxic. Some people can be allergic so yes use with caution as they are potent. They should ALWAYS be diluted in some form!
@ssds1991 The brand is COSORI...excellent brand! Mine is pretty old, they have changed the style a little bit. I've seen a glass one and a stainless steel...very nice 😁 amzn.to/3BXuPB7
@tarcelamitchell3143 The utensil holder was an Ace Hardware purchase years and years ago, there are some similar on Amazon and I think I have also seen some similar at Hobby Lobby. Here is the link for the napkins, they come in tons of colors! amzn.to/4eSuXjS
I use laundry sheets as well. I will never go back to liquid or powder. The only powder I use in my washer is a 1/4cup of baking soda in each load (this is my main machine as we live full time on the road)…keeps wash machine clean and the pipes clean…also helps with the rubber gasket smell that can build up (I have no smell whatsoever). Saves on space as they are small and thin.
One thing I strive for in my build......avoid moving anything to get to something else. I installed a bed versus having to set up a bed eveyday. I wanted to be able to jump in a go. Setting up or reoganizing every day is not on my radar.
@stephanieosborne6453 I don't 😆🤦🏼♀️ Mine works great...but I think it's ugly now lol, I'm waiting for it to die so I can get a new one! I bought one for my daughter a few years ago from Amazon...she loves it, it's a matte black goose neck with a cork handle. Really sharp looking! If you'd like a link I'd be happy to share it. 😊
Hello from central Colorado, I may have missed a couple of video postings. My husband had out patient surgery on his nose, so things were a little busy. I do the microwave storage thing too. Hey, have you ever experienced delamination on outside walls. We noticed one area under one of our orange reflective lights on the front. We did leave the trailer at our usual RV place, they had it for 3 weeks. I called to get a follow up, it was disappointing to hear the parts person was trying to find costs from the manufacture to replace the WHOLE front. My response was, do you really feel an RV 8 years old there would be still material available. Waited one more week, no call back. We decided to make a surprise visit to remove our RV. We pulled both lights, noticed large holes for wires. My husband sealed around each fixture, hoping this fixes the problem. Enjoy Washington, apples are huge in grocery stores. Safe travels
@patriciacooke886 Hi 👋 ☺️ We personally have not had any delamination thank God. Unfortunately that indicates a leak somewhere hopefully not the roof! 😬🫣 Hopefully the things your husband did will keep it from getting worse. We're back in Colorado right now for hunting season! Hoping my husband gets us some Elk meat, I'm tired of spending a fortune on meat in the grocery store 😒
@@MakingMyAbodeOTR yes I hear you about meat over priced. Our son and granddaughter got two cows two years ago. Only have elk steaks left. I only buy ground beef 93 % at City market when it’s on sale $3.99 per pound, we are two retired people so I can stretch it out. Our son checked seals on roof, said they all looked good. I hope your husband has a great hunt. Again safe travels.
