It's a winner. Works even on the Top of the World in the Yukon and coming down the Cassiar highway. Cassiar is 450 miles of no cell service at all. The one in my van is converted to 12 volt with a Starbox. Uses less power, one touch powered up.
Thanks for the information! You mentioned that you can make WiFi calls using Starlink internet. What app are you using to make calls. I am familiar with Skype, but I would like to know what you are using. Terry
@TerryMarabito You're welcome 😊 I don't use an app for wifi calling. Most smartphones have built in wifi calling capabilities. You'll find it in your settings.
If I am just a weekend warrior, can I pause every Monday and start back up on Fridays to prolong the service for smaller prices or would Starlink charge for a full month still?
@TimothyMichaels I hear you! I think as time goes on the prices will come down to a more reasonable level. When we first took a look, the hardware price was $750!! 🫣🤢
@@ronniebaker7782 I have service through AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Regardless of carrier, Google, Apple, etc. track you. No way around it unless you have zero smart phones. I suspect you have a smart phone and some carrier since Elon doesn't do cell service.
