- A character analysis of Caroline Bingley and the 'pick-me' mindset that shapes her actions. We’ll explore how this mindset is portrayed in Pride and Prejudice and why it remains so common today. By examining these dynamics, I hope we can all be more active participants in shaping our own paths, rather than passively following society’s expectations.

very well put, women need to stick for each other. we are stronger together :)
Such an interesting video! Funnily enough, my daughter and I were having a conversation today about 'pick-me' behaviour. I'm going to ask my daughter to watch this, some great advice, thank you!! I agree so much about having hobbies, I've met my tribe throught my hobbies, in particular cross stitch. I'm actually just about to stitch a design based on that quote by Caroline Bingley when she says 'I shall be miserable if I havenot an excellent library' ❤
Love everything about this comment, thank you for sharing! It’s amazing that you are having these conversations with your daughter that’s how we change things by educating and supporting the women and girls around us 🤍 and yesss to making friends through hobbies it’s the best, and you will have to dm me a photo of your cross stitch when it’s done 😱
@@Izzymeakin I will!! I have quite a few Jane Austen themed stitches, I can't help myself 😄 thank you, yes, it's extremely important to educate girls and empower them!! 🙌🏻
I love this!! I've never tried cross stitch but it looks very relaxing so might need to give it a go over Xmas 🤍
Loved this! Would you be interested in doing a q&a at some point? 😊 I’m a nosy person hehe
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I’ll probably will in the future, once I’ve found my footing with these videos :)
