I do alchemy for pushing my CP to 501CP (490CP atm) and its 10x better than cooking. 1 supreme alchemy tool would take me around 2hours to finish 5000 durability but alchemy does not do the x10 like cooking so time-management alchemy is so much than cooking. Also, spamming Clear Liquid Reagent is the easiest and most effective recipe simply because of how easy to get those mats ( those mats can be bought from NPC or CM ). Overall, the worst thing about alchemy is getting more tools nearly impossible because i would need to consume at least 21 supreme tools for 1CP from 476CP+. In conclusion, alchemy still pretty good even though those mats change.
Yeah the change has made it easier to level and make elixirs its justba shame that came with the decreased money Alchemy can now make BUT the rare drops are going to be the way with the unknown seeds, sturdy stones, and the burnt remnants. I didn't know that about the tools and ill have to do some looking into it since I mainly use Supreme and land of morning light tools

great video teddy! After master 1 ; do you think crafting with manos clothes (with more mastery ) is better for rare procs when you compare it with fast crafting?
I could try and compare the two, I never really did but from what I've seen it feels like manos doesn't take into account the individual cycles proc chance of the rares in the mass processing whereas the fast has to roll that dice each cycle
