Cheap Ebay Throttle Controllers - Save your money

  • Hi guys,
    This is now the corrected video as per the reason below:
    as a note it appears the abode timer used in this video is out by a factor of 2. so times shown on the video are double of the actual times. As a result the speed tests look more like this.
    Sp1 6 seconds
    Sp5 6.5
    Sp9 7.1
    No Controller 9.5 so the difference to 60 is about 3.5 seconds.
    Thanks to Keith on the Pajero forum for the heads up.
    in this video I review the Eittat chinese ebay 9S throttle controller.
    We'll run through how to connect it up to your Pajero, give you a quick look a the OBD2 reader, torque app and do some 0-60km/h test runs to put it through its paces.
    Plus I include the main reason why you should spend your money elsewhere.
    FYI A friend has both the IDrive and the kings variants and has no such issues.

      They definitively make them more responsive to drive. I'll admit I love that part. I really wanted it to work for me but just couldn't do the jerkiness at low speed. So you get any of that with yours?

    if you want it to be more sensitive with the throttle and less jumpy, why don't you put it in eco mode? It adjusts the throttle curve in the opposite direction, less sensitive and the beginning of the pedel range, more at the end

    • @DENMONKEY
      @DENMONKEY  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This one didn't have an eco mode. Even level one is an increase over standard response. That's the problem with it. If I could have dinner eco like the idrive, I would have been happier with it. Cheers fit for the comment

A quality Throttle Controller can also be used for dampening the throttle response in a 4WD which is good for when you crawling over rough terrain. If you think they do nothing to improve response time have a look at the link below and you might better understand what is actually being controlled.
