Saloni, thank you so much for creating this youtube channel!!! I am a Latina in the U.S., and I've recently started considering applying to colleges with an interest in biomedical engineering. You said in the video that your goal was to give viewers motivation, well you have done JUST THAT!!! I feel so much better seeing a women in STEM so genuinely excited about her job and about life. While I'm sure not everyday is perfect like you said, this video brought a smile to my face so thank you
It’s unfortunate that I didn’t find out your channel sooner. I’m an undergraduate with a biomedical engineering and I hope i can work my way up like you some day. Thanks for the enlightenment❤
Congratulations on all your accomplishments... Its 3:52AM and Ive been doing thermodynamics and statics ALL DAY with eating breaks of course.. :) Thank you for sharing I have a goal to be an Bioengineer in 1.5 years.. Thank you for sharing gives me hope.. I want to learn all I can !!!! Keep the videos coming!

thank you so much for this! i'm currently going through a bit of a rough patch and trying to figure out what to do with my life. thank you for the example of what it's like in the field!
@Troy Witherman I’m studying it too and just like any other degree to get a good profession it’s not easy work, but it’s not as much studying as becoming a doctor it’s only a 4 year bachelors degree.
Hey Love the channel! i'm a mechanical engineering student who's branching into electrical and biomedical engineering companies and just preparing for my interview. Love the content and keep up the great work!
I want to be a doctor but I’m in the position where I need money sooner rather than later, so I’m considering biomedical engineering to start for a few years. I can always apply to med school later. Great video!
Can you explain about that.. I am from kerala.. Due to financial crisis and so on mbbs is not affordable for me.. Then i m thnkng about to join in biomedical engineering
@@shahna1291 Yes. What I mean is that, in the US, after high school, I would have to got through university (4 years), medical school (4 more years) and then a residency (3-7 years, would have been at least 4 for me because I wanted surgery). That's minimum 12 years assuming everything goes right. In the engineering field, all you need is a bachelor's degree (4 or 5 years usually) to get out there and start earning a greater than average salary. Also, update on this while I'm here: At the time of writing the original comment I was an aerospace engineering major and I was only thinking of changing to biomedical, I did not change and I've decided I'm definitely sticking with aerospace engineering bc I'm enjoying the challenge.
@@Brickswol thank you dear, is ur instagram id with same? Why i ask u to know more about this field if anything need and also i would like to work abroad
I'm considering biomed engineering and this video was so helpful!! Is this a job that kind of bleeds over into personal life? As in, do you have to ever have to bring work home? Are the hours pretty consistent? Thanks!
I'd say about 5% of the time I have to bring work home- its usually when we have tight deadlines and multiple project submissions. Hours are very consistent though, I work 40 hours per week M-F.
I was so inspired by your videos, I am a 1st-year college student here in the Philippines. And I was looking forward to studying abroad, I hope everything goes well so I can try applying for a scholarship. Just wanna say thank you!
Thanks a lot for creating such amazing content!! You have truly inspired me regarding various scopes of Biomedical Engineering. Looking forward for more such informative videos of yours!❤❤
Your job definitely seems fun and exciting!! 💥🔬 #crazymedusa Something that i would not miss doing any day would be praying, more like just sitting quietly for few minutes and clearing out my head with all the thoughts from within. Another thing would be reading few pages of a novel before going to bed. It just gives something else to divert your mind to besides studies.
The way u r saying its endless amount of work..i do u breath??do u get time to spend with your loved ones,or gives tours, travel around??i am an MBBS dr..i was hoping to do my higher studies in biotech.but if life's gonna same robotic and hectic like medical than I would rather skip it😭
I like talking to myself... Because I feel like I've seen times when I was lonely and was afraid of approaching people to talk and at that time it was very helpful. So I can't really miss it because it happens spontaneously and I do it.
