Something I learned flying IL2 years ago, when attacking ground targets:
Locate your target from a distance, then get low. Attack from low altitude, and DON'T pull up immediately after your attack. Keep low, change direction often, and pull up when you're well clear of the target. You'll live longer.

They are japanese skins put on certain non japanese aircraft. The map is indeed Kuban!
