How many times do I have to say this? Danny is a freaking inspiration for people wanting to push their film making at whatever budget they have! No excuses just creativity displayed with minimal gear
My favorite scene was actually the last shot where he sits on the porch after the run and the other guys greet him while on their run. It gives a sense of community and connection.
Your videos are always "Comfort Food" for my creative soul Danny. Loved this short film and this behind the scenes is the REAL meat and potatoes for me. Thanks for sharing as always.
Whenever I watch one of your videos Danny, I always come away from it feeling so inspired. You are such a wonderful creative, and the way that you direct your TH-cam video's is so captivating. Amazing work!
Besides the fact that the film was incredibly crafted, thoughtful and emotional - I loved seeing how you approached the storytelling. Super aware and respectful of the people/place. There’s no greater gift than using your skills and talents in service of someone else. Also so fun, which is key - keep it up man
The running industry, at least from most companies, does not feel very inclusive. The same goes for so many of these boutique gyms, all they show is the "perfect" fit people in their ads. Love seeing an approach like this Danny, well done man.
Your BTS never fails man! I also love the consistent reminders you give about how you're always rockin with a small crew and small set up. It's cool and very motivating for a young filmmaker like me!
I tell people all the time. That it's important to know how to run. So I love the fact that you were teaching him the proper way to run. Im a huge runner as well. Amazing BTS.
As always, these BTS are quite inspiring. Honestly, it's demanding to pursue your dreams while you're working full time on an office job but sure but this kind of content reminds me to go back to the studio and keep grinding. Thank you man, I loved it
The pressure he feels to lose weight when he’s surrounded by folks that are in shape is not to be understated. As someone that’s 50-60lbs overweight, it’s really hard to get started when you’re in bad cardiovascular shape, especially when you’re coupled with excess weight. People who are able to transform their body really need to be documented because they did something most won’t ever do.
I'm so proud and happy for your friend and his interest in his effots to better himself no matter how much he downplays himself, the first step is the hardest and now that he has all of your subscrbers supporting him on this journey he will have all the motivation in the world and i hope it inspires more people.
The goodest dude of good dudes. Love always Danny! edit as I keep watching: the gimbal is 99% of the time too smooth for me. Good call on the handheld.
w000t Wawa! Bacon egg and cheese boooyeeee. Great video man, really love the BTS to see camera placement and your thought process super helpful. Also the finished video made me wanna go for run. Thanks man!
I'd love to see you tackle something in the horror field. I saw 98% of your all of your shorts, but definitely switching to a different genre would be amazing to see. Either way, I'm still a diehard. Can't wait to see what you rock next.
Keep up the great work Danny! Your content has been THE biggest inspiration for me in my filmmaking journey. I just started working as an editor in Hollywood 6 months ago due in large part to the things I learned from you. Just wanted to say thanks and who knows maybe we’ll work on something together in the future!
Amazing video as always. I am always so inspired every time I see one of you’re behind the scenes videos. About two months ago I’ve started getting into running again because of you’re story and I think I’m sick, I was hoping to find something that could better my mental health and it really had done so much for me (thank you!) And out of nerdy curiosity I was wondering what your favorite running shoes are? Love the videos as always, please never stop making them, I wait every day for each and every one of them. ❤️
The thought process of knowing that the shot isnt working for what you're looking for is all experience speaking. I'm talking about you using the one wheel to add slight shake/wobble.
If you don't mind sharing, how did you get the car shots like at 0:51 and 11:45? Like how is your camera mounted and what camera is it (a smaller, lighter one or your FX3)? Awesome video Danny!
What's your go to equipment and preparation gear? im filmming a documentary in a few weeks and would love some more advice on what to do and what not to do
Would love to have the chance to shoot with you one day! Been following you since the Canon C days, and youhave always been one of those go to channels. Would ever consider coming to Brazil? 😅
Man, these BTS videos are such a treat to watch. I'm just starting my journey and they're so inspiring, especially being just limited to my camera body and lens for the time being. Are we getting one of them for Soul Skater (skate short film)?
what an awsome video man. Always love your stuff. One question did you just use sunlight for the bedroom scene or was that an artificial light that you put outside of the window? 17:00 Thanks

Thanks so much for saying this!
It’s absolutely true! I’m so grateful for everything Danny does!
Once is enough. 😂

This is the real deal and best BTS yet. Love all the elements, challenges, and connections these show.

Awesome dude. Love your style, your attitude and thanks for sharing!
Handheld on the one wheel is the way to go🔥 nice job like always mate😁🤙
Danny is really the MVP. Literally an inspiration on why there's no reason we should not go out and shoot magic !
We as filmmakers are wild people 😂
Haha we are
It's the classic middle school track push to figure out which leg should be back for me🤣
Hahahaha
Danny, you are beyond like Amazon commercial status with your ideas and execution, IMO. Love this soo much!
Good vibes, good breakdown & good project 🔥
This channel continues to be consistently inspiring, not just in filmmaking but in life
Heck yeah glad you think so man!

Hi Danny! For moving shots like @14:00 do you recommend turning the IBIS off or on? Standard or Active?
I leave it on standard!
The thought process of knowing that the shot isnt working for what you're looking for is all experience speaking. I'm talking about you using the one wheel to add slight shake/wobble.
Danny Shot it❤🎉
Much love Danny ❤
Thanks dude!
Damn Danny got that dawg in him 19:18 fr fr

Even BTS looks so nice , i dont know man .
Did Zacc ever make it to your mum's house?
Kidding. Love the content as always. Inspiring a generation x
it would be cool if you can add a small text in each shot, so we can know what aperture you used also the lens mm
Been a minute...
❤🔥
WAWA!!!
If you don't mind sharing, how did you get the car shots like at 0:51 and 11:45? Like how is your camera mounted and what camera is it (a smaller, lighter one or your FX3)? Awesome video Danny!
Just my fx3 sitting on the dash haha
You use resolve or premier for grading ???
What's your go to equipment and preparation gear? im filmming a documentary in a few weeks and would love some more advice on what to do and what not to do
I subscribed also. thanks you
❤❤Danny
Would love to have the chance to shoot with you one day! Been following you since the Canon C days, and youhave always been one of those go to channels. Would ever consider coming to Brazil? 😅
One day haha!
How do you do it with audio when filming from a car or the board? Do you record audio separately and replace it in post?
Do you film in rec709?? Great BTS by the way, super cool and insightful stuff
Man, these BTS videos are such a treat to watch. I'm just starting my journey and they're so inspiring, especially being just limited to my camera body and lens for the time being.
Are we getting one of them for Soul Skater (skate short film)?
Nah nothing for soul skater! Not my fault 🤷🏻♂️
@@DannyGevirtz no worries, so many other great BTS to watch still
Hey Danny! What's the mic you're using on the camera? Are you mostly using the audio from that mic for the film or does Zacc also have a lav mic on?
I have a shotgun and a lav going on both me and zacc for bts!
@@DannyGevirtz Thank you!
hi , what s the software that you use for storyboards?
❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing this BTS man. What mic where you using on the fx3 for this project?
Thanks man! I have a rode ntg3b on there
Genius
Wawa! 🔥
Let’s gooo
Do you activate Landon Mode on your FX3?
I feel like you’re trying to get me with that one
@@DannyGevirtzDefinitely, on a different note, really helpful breakdown!
Hello, what is the microphone on your setup ?
Love it!! Cheers to your BTS Filmer as well. Question: Does the final film end up on tracksmith's TH-cam channel? (maybe a stupid question??)
Haha nah it wasn’t for them
Hello! What software do you use to format your storyboards?
Milanote!
Did you use your LUTs forest?
thank you sir
Love how you took inspiration from Tracksmith but then made it your own! Love your work per usual 🫡
Thanks dude!
You are the best!! bye
Thanks Will!
"How many miles in total did he run for the film?"
Yes
what an awsome video man. Always love your stuff. One question did you just use sunlight for the bedroom scene or was that an artificial light that you put outside of the window? 17:00 Thanks
That was just sunlight and a lamp!
@@DannyGevirtz Thanks mate. You just prove how much we can do and achieve with just natural sunlight. Bloody amazing film.
First thing i hear, you're going to make me look skinny lol. Could have answered instead of laughing lol!!!
Hahaha
ooh, I wanna be in the next Danny Gevirtz 150m challenge, LOL
Haha be prepared to get smoked

Hahah the holy lands
Hi Danny, was it all colorgraded with your luts? The colors are fantastic!
