Today I take you on the journey when I DP'd my first big montage commercial. I hope you learn something and enjoy the process. Follow me: danielwcunningham Website: danielwcunningham.com
Love this bts breakdown. Inspires me for my next projects! What tripod is that you’re using for the top downs in the “basement” shots? Looking for a new heavy duty tripod
@@wazlght5884 Honestly, I don’t think you should unless you have a need for the Komodo’s capabilities. Like global shutter, raw, the form factor. If you’re making great content with ease with the fx3 then that’s the tool for you currently. Hope that helps!
Dude you have one of the most underrated filmmaking channels out there. This was so fun to watch and I learned a lot!
@@NigelBarros I really appreciate the kind words Nigel! Glad you learned something from it!
Probably the best BTS I've seen in a while. Also it's amazing that you can shoot handheld and walk with no stabilization whatsoever.
One of the best examples I've seen of stretching a budget to get the most production value. Great technique
Man the production value and actual value provided in this video is nuts. Thanks for sharing !
Are you kidding me!!!???😮😮 the WORK THE EFFORT PUT INTO THIS IS INSANELY GOOD.
Is this the standard nowadays? 😢
I’m afraid yes 😩 lol
Aside from the useful and clearly delivered info, this was a lot of fun to watch! Instant sub.
Incredible BTS! That must be one of my favourite I’ve seen! Sincerely all shots were money shots haha good job!
Very well done!
When passion and skills are coming together this is the result!
Dude love this! Curious who chose the location (big house with basement?) and did casting? The production design was great!
Amazing Video. Thank you for the effort. Absolutely insane!!

Very, nice!. How did you keep your image stable without a gimbal or steadicam?
Cool shit, dog
How long did this video take to make from pre to post?
amazing work btw
Hey Daniel, great breakdown! Was this graded with the cine source powergrade you showcased in your CG tutorial?
@@kalp.patel97 thanks! It was not actually, I decided to go a different route but very similar.
this is dope!! besides the Pictor, you only used the blazar 45mm ?
@@owenbands thanks!! I used the 65 on some shots and the 100 on one shot.
Hey Daniel, should I upgrade my fx3 to the Komodo x?
