Yea her mother was still her mother in the 70s, should have done the right thing and reported the abuse and not covered it up.
My grandmother told me that when I was 3 that she took me to the hospital because I had vaginal bleeding and supposedly the doctor told her it was ok it just meant that I would start my period late in life. This is what she told me when I questioned her about why all my friends had their periods and I didn't when I was in my late teens. I began getting memories in adulthood about being molested by my grandmothers son. I knew at that moment that she lied to me and as an adult I confronted her after he died and she said he's dead now what do you want me to do about it. She's just as disgusting as he is and I don't believe she ever took me to the doctors for the vaginal bleeding when I was 3.
A jealous mother is a toxic and dangerous mother.

I can feel her pain. I was a victim of sexual abuse by 3 out of 6 brothers. I can remember since the age of 5 yrs through 10 yrs old. My mom always threatened me not to say a got dam word to my father. Well I let my dad know when I tuned 10 yrs old. My mom still says that I was wrong for telling and getting my brother's in serious trouble. She still hates me today and don't speak to me but she has the best relationship with my 3 brother's. She's so Evil I think that she enjoys seeing me hurt. I continue to pray for her.. she's paying for what she was included in on. 85 year's old .. Wow. I forgive her but I will never ever Forget.. My brother's are all sick with seriously mental issues because they also did the same to many other's boy's and girl's. I'm free now from those monster's.. Amen 😊😊

It is very evident that there was strong demonic presence in that household. It is evident that your mother and stepfather were weak, choosing to hurt children because of their hurt.
I was born in ‘78 so I know from my family that children were not usually heard and especially black or minority children. I am so glad that what the enemy meant for evil God used for good. I’m glad that God got his vengeance. It is SO hard to always understand why we have to go through things, but we may not fully understand until later. 🙏🏾❤️💪🏾

What I immediately saw is that as she is telling the facts of her childhood molestation, she is clearly reliving each and every episode, event, etc. Her face and her eyes are like a movie screen for us. My heart broke into a million pieces. The hurt, the pain, the humiliation, the fear, the deep sense of betrayal is so evident. When a child needs protection, and not one adult decides to provide that protection; mother, father, relatives, neighbors, doctors, teachers, police officers, etc., it is beyond comprehension. How do you repeatedly fail a child this way??? Thank God she is healing, she is thriving, and she is finally feeling LOVED and VALUED❤🙏🏼

On the way home from the hospital, after my brother died, my remaining brother told her, it happened and that I wasn't lying and she failed to protect me.
To my utter amazement, she told him that had she known of the abuse, she would done something about it. I'm like what the hell. She's known for 50 years. I told her 50 years ago when I was 12 years old.

Most abused kids don’t forget their abuse. That kind of abuse is quite hard to scrub from your memory. It is literally imprinted in who you are unfortunately and you have to work HARD to reverse the damage done

Her stepdad was the devil incarnate. So was her mother...Its a miracle that she could get pregnant after the severity of this long term sexual abuse. I never could understand how a mother could look at their daughter as competition or the other woman. She was beyond delusional.
This story definitely needs to be told and heard. I’m so glad you never gave up on yourself. There are some evil demonic spirits out here that try to tear us apart, but you made it through. I’m also happy you loved and valued yourself to walk away from a bad or domestic relationship. You are strong and beautiful and have children who love you. Your children will be great as well, because of the strength and love you have shown. You have taught them and others from your survival story, that no matter how hellish your situation you have to keep pushing. Sad that those that supposed to protect us are not reliable. Aside from the sexual abuse, my stepfather did me the same way. I was a writer, I played the violin, and could sing. And I was in honors class. But my family hated me so much tht they NEVER acknowledged any of it.

This so common in all communities. I will never ever forget a Hispanic guest on Montell telling her story. The lady left her husband to protect her young daughter. Surprising thing about that story was that she had no support from her family. When I was younger I worked with my best friend who happened to be German she told me her abuse story, mother's husband. I lived abroad and the stories across the world horrible. India makes me cry. Don't ever break it down to ethnicity. It makes it sounds like it's one group problem.

What a horrible life she had. I thank God I have never been molested. I had a wonderful mother and father, but he died when I was 8 years old. My mother never remarried because she said she didn't want my brother and I to have a stepfather. Not all step fathers are bad, but there are those that are. Praise God my mother protected me and my brother.
She went further than I did. I was in a very similar situation (eight siblings though) and my confidence has yet to come back. Her story gives me courage.

Even in preschool and elementary school, I was a protector. I would defend and protect any child who was younger than me, or smaller than me, or just being targeted for bullying. Damn the shit her mother used to say to her, is the same thing my mother used to say to me. I'm 39 and I still remember what she said she it affects me. Some mothers can be jealous of their daughters or just have plain hatred for you just because of what they went through.
My mom has given me a black eye and beaten me. She owns 7 brownstones in Brooklyn. I am homeless. Will never speak to her again.

I guarantee the mother was treated the exact same way by her uneducated parents. History AND bloodlines always repeats. This is the only way that SHE was shown how to deal with abuse - so instead of stopping it and getting help she regurgitated it on her children. Thank God Dr. Beloved rose from the ashes of all this in victory and won't let it happen to her children. As the Lord said, "Vengeance is mine!"

Now this is the real "Precious" story. This woman survived the worst of worst and has survived to prosper. She was endowed with indomitable strength and wisdom that only grew larger as she matured. 😢Sadly she is the exception to the rule. But her exception is a testament to all those children that are being used, abused and sexually molested that you are not damaged goods, you have value and that you could help another child rise above this horror by bringing this unholy treatment by these demons to light so they have no shadow in which to hide and seed their evilness.
I'm glad you mentioned she was the exception. Too many people expect everyone with a horrible past to be representatives as to why people in lesser situations shouldn't complain, when the reality is that many people didn't survive stuff like this. We can't measure everyone's reaction to pain
After listening to her story I thank God for two loving parents my mother would never have tolerated that kind of behavior from any man but I feel for her
What a story. It took years for her to break free. If the people she turned for help for as a child really stood up for her it would have helped. Lessons to be learned now is always listen to the child and believe them and fight for them. The mother is a narcissist, and was extremely jealous of her daughter. I don't know who is more demonic, the mother or step father. They are going to burn in the lake of fire for eternity. Mother's like that I want to hurt them This makes me so angry.This is one of the worse stories I ever heard of child abuse. The mother had a daycare? Oh hell no. That's why I don't like daycares.

Sincee the release of that movie "the sound of freedom", I have been hearing and seeing more people telling their story and it is honestly breaking my heart for what has already been done.
