I've been driving since August last year and I noticed that compared to when I was learning I never look at the steering wheel anymore. As a result my car control is actually much more fluid and better. That tip is genuinely the best one out of them all, at least in my opinion.
Glad you have improved.
I reckon, you might just be the right help to my wife, she just passed her test weeks ago yet still driving as if she’s still half way through the learning curve towards being a competent driver. Great vid, keep up with the good work mate.
Thanks. Remember to give her time to get better. I've dealt with learners who's confidence was shattered by parents or partners who expected too much of them after they passed their test. Remember it takes years of experience to get to a level where some might consider to be a competent driver. Give her time, she'll get better. Good luck 🫶🏾
@@ZONDOdriving This is very true! My mother waited 15 years taking her license because my father completely shattered her confidence with his impatience/frustration to the point where she got anxiety. After getting her license, it took her maybe 10 years to become what I would consider a really good and confident driver. She even kept stalling consistently at junctions. One day though, something just clicked and now she is one of the best drivers I know. But to me, it shows how damaging the impatience of others really can be, and should not be understated.
This is so superb🎉 Excellent instructor
I used to do the steering wheel thing where i used to look at the steering wheel while driving. Now i learnt it with experience.
I love your teaching approach, you have just gotten a new subscriber and student .
Thumbs up ❤
Glad to have you on board 🫶🏾
Thaks man helps me a lot ❤
I love still watching these without the pressure cos I passed 22nd Jan. Your lessons and the whole community helped so damn much bro.
Thank you for your continued support. Well done on your pass! 🥳🎉
Good lesson thank you Sir 🙏🏾
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you so much. 🙏🏻
Welcome!
Excellent driving videos, really helpful!
Thank you Claire 🫶🏾
Man's got the sick high tops an the spongebob socks. Legend
Amazing video!
Glad you think so!
The reason for selecting neutral at traffic lights is to reduce wear on the clutch since the instructors usually have higher clutch wear than regular drivers due to begginer drivers, its not a must, but its good practise to reduce clutch wear.
In the Netherlands you must use pull/push method for steering during your exam, and the reason is "cross hands" method is considered dangerous because crossed hand is located directly above the airbag place, and in case of an accident the airbag will smash your hand into your face.
While that method is encouraged, you won’t fail for using other steering methods as long as you have full control over the car. I didn’t always use the pull/push method but I still passed the exam.
Great instructions nice man first class.
Thank you kindly
Hello mark :….. I passed yesterday in hendon center in 3rd attempted also 0minor …. I just come hare say thank u for ur Hendon rout video and taking through Video …. It’s help me so much …. Again thanks to u
0 minors is amazing, well done!! 🥳🌟🏆🥳👌🏾
Though I'm from India but this lesson helped me a lot especially taking turns.. We also drive through the left side of the road!! 😅
Nice one Mr zondo. But here in Zambia if you cross hands on the test its an automatic fail you're supposed to use the pull and push method
Interesting! Over here it's more important that you control the car rather than looking like you are controlling the car.
@@ZONDOdriving really sucks but you're very much right control is what's more important
Thanks good tips bro have my test on Tuesday wish me luck 🙏🏽🤞🏽
pass?
Yh did u pass
Converse excellent and vans. So much easier on pedals. As a consequence I have to take a change of shoes sometimes.
I never thought a TH-cam guy would do better than my in-class instructor. Thank you :)
What a compliment. Thank you! But listen to your instructor though 🤭
@@ZONDOdriving nahhh, I'm done with him for long. Got my license 7 years ago but never drove a manual car after school. And last month I got myself an Isuzu bakkie which is manual. So I'm back to my baby steps.
I drove with the exact same shoes throughout my whole driving practice and test, and now as a licensed driver and just got so used to them that when I use different shoes it feels weird.
Definitely does. You will get used to other shoes pretty quickly though
I stalled on a hill today in an automatic 😩 I never use the handbrake because I figured it's an auto....no way it'll stall and roll backwards. Luckily nobody was behind me but it gave me a scare.
*New fear unlocked*
@@samanthachiwashira2942 😅😅😅
How come you needed you to use a handbrake in an auto?
@ZONDOdriving I didn't use the handbrake. Once I took my foot off the brake and pressed the gas, the car jolted then started rolling backwards and that's when I applied the handbrake and restarted the car. Bizarre!!
I have my test coming up next month and i have searched everywhere for a answer to this question. Do we compulsorily have to use handbrakes in an automatic during pir drving test? @ZONDOdriving
by "concentrate on your right " you mean on the side where the opposite direction is right? because in Europe the cars have the steering wheel on the left
so you just focus not to hit the other cars?
Country where I live, we drive on the right lane and wheel is on the left so these guides makes it bit confusing.
Thank you! will stick to all of them except 1 hehe, learn to park faster, im going to do that SUPER slow on the test as the more time i can be slow the more time gets filled up the faster the test is over hehe but also because i suck at parking, at least finding the reference point (except parallel park that's ok) Keep making these great vids!
oh yea also love the socks ha! have a good one mate
Awesome 😅. By the way, it’s not that you will park faster, but you will learn faster how to park. I hope that makes sense. Thank you for your support 🫶🏾
Respect
Hi what are the rules for curb side blindspot when parked my instructor always makes me check during lesson but in my opinion only roadside is needed and on the test I never got a fault for not checking curb side.
After talking to some examiners, they told me kerbside check is not needed when moving off.
Amazing video!!! Would recommend to anyone learning to drive 🙏🙏
So you can use only the biting and the coin size up and down to control the car when parking in slow motion without the gas?
If you're going uphill and the car is struggling you might want to use a bit of gas there too.
How can I book lessons with you
great tips!
🫶🏾
7:57 I can only drive in converse while in my driving lesson and I’ve just started to drive to n my airforces in my own car bc they are what I wear the most
How are you finding driving in the Airforces?
Is it normal for my car to be very jumpy when down shifting to first and even sometimes second? Im new to manual and drive a 2015 hyundai veloster r spec. Maybe it could just be from being newer to manual
If it's jumpy it means you're either gearing down when the speed is too high for that gear or you're bringing the clutch up too fast after the gear change.
Ive slightly gotten the hang of it more and rev matching has been helping a lot in my car thanks for the reply man!
I noticed, you don't apply the horn as much in turns
Btw nice video Thanks❤
As in using the horn for when I'm making a turn?
@@ZONDOdriving Yay.
Here in India i have to use the horn when I'm making a turn or else disaster will happen
Where are you based in the UK?
NW London
Here for the British accent 🎉
Bro you drive around where i first learnt how to drive😅
🙌🏾
But isn't crossing hands a minor
No it's not a fault. Only if you lose control
Where do you stay?
NW London
If you go straight the wheel will turn automatically straight
Correct, but you have to be going fast enough for it to do that.
My mom teach me how drive 😂😂😂😂😂
Lucky. 🫶🏾
Damn
Why does the first shoe gonna cost you more money for the driving test?
It's not that it will cost you more for driving test, but in lessons because you will take longer to learn the pedals since you can't feel them properly in the wrong shoes.
instructions unclear accidentally drove on the wrong lane and had a head on collision and realized that this aint Britain 😭😭😭
😅
