To answer some of your questions: The metal wings weigh about 50kg (110 lbs), can't imagine how heavy it feels especially when folded back 🙈 Till Lindemann suffers from stage fright, he stated in an interview years ago that he hates it to be looked at and is in general a pretty sensitive guy (spends his time in the woods writing poems and fairytales). Thats why Rammstein shows are exactly that: a big show. Everything from the first to the last second is perfectly staged. The bullying of Flake (Keyboardist), interactions with fans, fire, light - there also is no talking except for a 'Thank you' at the end. The huge show kinda is Till's way to hide on stage. It's like being an actor in a theater piece. Love you two and your jouney into metal. All the best to you ✌️
Rammstein's members are: Vocalist: Till Lindemann Lead Guitarist: Richard Z. Kruspe Rhythm Guitarist: Paul Landers Bassist: Oliver "Ollie" Riedel Drums: Christoph "Doom" Schneider Keyboardist: Chrisitan "Flake" Lorenz They've never had a lineup change in their history (never changed members).
I was at one of their concerts in august 2019 in Oslo. And it was easily THE BEST live performance and concert I have EVER seen or been to. It blows you away when you’re there, you’re close to the stage, and just see the sheer size of the stage, the pyro, the show as a whole, the heavy hard hitting music (and bass that shakes you honestly). It is THE BEST experience I have ever had in my life. Nothing comes close.
CHORUS: "Only once the clouds have gone to sleep / Can you see us in the sky We are afraid and alone / Because God knows I don't want to be an angel God knows I don't want to be an angel / God knows I don't want to be an angel"
I must say that Puppe during that tour was a piece of work as well! I couldn't care less for confetti or streamers or whatever but when it's pouring for a full minute from all over the stadium and still twirling around the stadium for 15 more minutes even I find it amazing.
For the live show, the whistles are pre-recorded. Flake plays them on his keyboard as a sample (he does the same with the female voice) and both guitarists Paul (the one you were talking about) and Richard, act as if they are whistling. The wings are controlled by Till with that metal claw he has on his left hand: opening, closing, sparkles, flamethrower. The rest of the pyro on stage is timed and controlled from another side of the stage and venue. Oh and none of them are related btw. They are all just German 😉 All the members are very good friends, like brothers, but not by blood.😊
I worked at that concert. That was a fun night in MSG. I had a beer cart but kept running to catch glimpses of the show lol And Cristian “Flake” Lorenz has always been the keyboardist. That was their first US show in a decade September 10, 2009.
The date of the show was Dec 11, 2010. I was at the Montreal show 2 days prior, and footage from that show was spliced with MSG footage. If you look closely, you can see the Montreal Canadiens logo in some shots.
The Vocalist Till Lindemann is also a trained Pyrotechnican and therefor has a license to work with fire/fireworks so he totally knows all the time what he is doing on every Concert with his Fireshow and makes sure everyone in the Band and the Fans stay safe during it
Stumbled across your channel last night and have been listening through your whole Tool library (Best band in history, been listening to them for 21 years). Then refresh your channel and see this. YES! If you do any more Rammstein, do ‘Du Hast - live in Paris’ next! Tool are only second to Rammstein for their live shows. 🤯
Every single show is like this. I have seen them live 5 times over the years. First time in 1999 and the last show was last year. They add new crazy stuff for every tour. This is a band you have to see live sometime :)
I was at that concert! Let me tell you, it was AMAZING. We stayed up all night to get the tickets and flew up from Miami to see them. That was my first time seeing them live lol!
For spooky? Rammstein Mein Teil. That was their show 10 years ago. Now they are selling out stadiums and their stage takes 6 days to build. It's the same keyboardist. The lineup hasn't changed since they began in 1993. Also, I have Till on both my shoulders. He's such an inspiration for how to live a fulfilled life.
YES YES YES!!!! THANK YOU!! 💜🔥💜🔥💜 Tidbit: the whistle has been my notification tone for a long time!! I know you've done it already, but check out the live of Du Hast for another cool pyro experience!
I went to the show in chicago 10 years ago when i was 23 and It’s to date one of the most memorable concerts I have ever been to!! I loved every second.
I love Rammstein almost 20 years. I was once in live concert in Prague (Czech Republic). I mostly love death metal but Rammstein is best band ever for me... You two look like great guys. Keep up the good work. Grettings from Czech Republic (neighbor of Germany :).
Yes, all of their shows are like this. They are German after all. Very professional. And with all the fire and everything going during the the whole show the performance is planed out into extreme detail. They do it same no matter the location or crowd size. Improv does happen but it is very rare. For example, only if something goes wrong like a technical glitch.
saw a couple of their shows years ago. during every song, there was something or someone smoking, burning, or exploding...mike stands flaming, flares on the guitar heads, pyro you can feel 20 feet into the crowd. awesome times.
So in German, I remember pronunciation of the ei/ie as Einsteins Niece. Ei makes a short I sound (like eye) and ie makes a long e sound like in sheep. You should also do Rammlied Live at Madison Square Garden, Mein Teil Live, and Weisses Fleisch/Asche zu Asche Live 2001.
What a shame, they have the perfect one for Halloween: "Mein Teil" live, it´s about a real case of cannibalism that hapenned in Germany. Still this song is a blast! The riff, the bass line, the whistling, the theme, the pyro, the wings...EPIC!! Definitely always go for the live versions! Also their official "television" videos get blocked a lot, but their official LIVE videos like this don´t. These guys are masters of live performances, 90% the times with fire, pyro or other gimmicks. The keyboard player is always part of the gags. You REAAAAAALLLY got do these guys more often, try "Ich Tu Dir Weh" live in Madison Square Garden or "Mein Teil" live. Peace.
At the end of the song, the explotions are a part of the back af the stage. You can see that the background are getting disassembled in sections. So for every bang a section disappears. Great reaction from you guys.
2:40 Off the top of my head, a good example would be deceive vs believe. It's the condition of a "c" in the word that determines whether "i" comes before "e" or vice versa.
I've been to a number of Rammstein shows, and yes, there is always fire ... There was a show cancelled a few years ago because the venue (Brixton) refused to allow the pyrotechnics at the last minute. Till decided to qualify as a pyrotechnician after an accident at an early show when some audience members got burned by their contractors.
My dad got into Rammstein after I played this song on my old stereo because the whistling reminded him of a old Spaghetti western movie like "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly". "Engel" translates in English as "Angel".
I've seen rammstein live 3 times, twice front row. They're fucking incredible live shows. That fire is all. The. Way. Intense. Also, one impressive and uncommon thing about the band is that they're all still the original members since the band's incarnation. Few bands can say that, and considering they've been around for pushing 30 years... so yes that's still the same keyboardist "Flake"
Yes! These guys have a lot out there to explore. Amazing live band and some interesting videos as well. Would love to see a reaction to the video for Sonne.
love that you're doing more Rammstein! definitely keep at it!... as an english grammar nerd just to add my two cents to the "I before E discussion" grammarians actually tried to expand on the old quote to better fit the english grammar rules and it later became "'I' before 'E', except after 'C', or when sounding like 'A' as in 'Neighbor' or 'Weigh'" ... but even then it's still full of exceptions. if we want it to be accurate, it'd need to be something like: I before e, except after c Or when sounding like 'a' as in 'neighbor' and 'weigh' Unless the 'c' is part of a 'sh' sound as in 'glacier' Or it appears in comparatives and superlatives like 'fancier' And also except when the vowels are sounded as 'e' as in 'seize' Or 'i' as in 'height' Or also in '-ing' inflections ending in '-e' as in 'cueing' Or in compound words as in 'albeit' Or occasionally in technical words with strong etymological links to their parent languages as in 'cuneiform' Or in other numerous and random exceptions such as 'science', 'forfeit', and 'weird'. And that doesn't even rhyme lol
I've seen them in Nimes, France, Copenhagen Denmark, and Bern Switzerland. The answer to your question regarding the crowds at these stadiums, is yes they go wild from note one until the last. Till is amazingly shy as hell but very humble.
Here in NYC we just got 25% inside dining at the end of last month. My jobs involve large crowds so I haven’t worked since the first night of the Big East tournament.
I have been on their concert twice. In Belgrade, Serbia. They are insane, so professional, they play every concert like it's their last. Nice memories 4 this stupid lock down
They are insane live. Can't wait to see them again. One of my favorite groups of all time. Rammlied next and Nebel. The singer Till Lindemann is a drummer as well, but I love his voice. They command the stage and I love every second of it!! Great reaction btw
Their own shows are like this. The band has 60 trucks to build op their stage which takes 6 days. When Rammstein is invited at music festivals were they share the stage with other bands they can't always do all of their acts if the stage is not big enough for example. Here is a time lapse video of the stage being constructed. th-cam.com/video/JgGuRKgvWQ4/w-d-xo.html
I’m from Columbus and love The Masquerade. Well the old Masquerade. I love the up close and personal interaction. Trust me when the mosh goes on the top floor, you can feel it! Love you guys!!! Also look up the time lapse video of the set going up. All their shows are like that. They put so much into their live shows.
BY THE GRACE OF WHATEVER HIGHER POWER, I got the blessing to go to a Rammstein show before I had ever even gotten into them. My best friend had always listened to them and one day was like "Wanna go to a Rammstein show?!", it just soo happened that her friend Ashley had an extra ticket. Tickets to a Rammstein show are generally pretty fucking expensive. They also rarely tour here in the US because they are getting banned every other year haha. I just wish I had been into them at that time, its a different sort of experience when you know every song and you appreciate it more.
Research is the word you were looking for. Great reaction and love your open-mindedness and your continued journey. Peace. Angel was also correct. Hence his outfit. Edit; “that outfit is fire!”. How very prescient of you LOL.
When I saw them the last time, it was raining, I was in the stadium seats to the side, got soaking wet but I had a great view and everyone left the area and went under cover to keep dry. When Rammstein came on and flames were shooting off the front of the stage, it was so hot I got instantly dry. My cousin who was up by the stage got a his hair a bit singed. It was one of the best performances I've seen. If you get a chance to see rammstein, definitely go. They are amazing.
I had the chance to saw them last year in Frankfurt/Main.They did a stadium tour and all shows were sold out. It was crazy, loud, hot. 10/10 would go again. My brother (no ticket) wanted to check how loud it was outside on the parking lot. He could hear it clearly and eventually saw flames rising up. It was killer pyro. There are a few videos on youtube from outside the stadiums. Check them out
Great reaction mates! Rammstein are perfect for scary themes because they often address and act out real disturbing and horrifying events, such as: "Wiener blut" (live) that is their view on a man (josef Fritzl) who locked up his teenage daugher in the cellar for years and had 7 children with her; "Mein Teil" (live) addressing a real life cannibal case in Germany; "Mein herz brennt" (MV), a song about nightmares. Recommend you check out the lyrics before or after, especially the lyrics for "Wiener blut" makes me feel physically ill.
Just for the protocol...the "s" in Rammstein is pronounced like the "sh" in dish,and the song Engel speak out the "eng" like the "ang" in anger and your pronounciation is perfect like an old germans would. Cheers from the land of Bier",Bretzeln and Rammstein ;
I've been to 3 Rammstein Shows (I live in Denmark just north of the German Border), 2 outdoors & 1 indoor. And yes all their shows are like that, and damn hot in there. If you get to front row, you can get an armband with the text I survived Front row with Rammstein (I don't have one but a friend of mine have).
Yes all the concerts are like this 😂👌🔥🔥🔥🔥 nothing beats seeing them live.. just saw them here in Germany in July and last summer in Berlin at the big coliseum … Flake the keyboardist is my fave too 🫠💚
I saw some answers to your questions, but here are some answers I didn't see. The two guitarists (Richard Kruspe and Paul Landers) do whistle through "Engel". The bass player (Oliver Riedel) is usually on the other side of the drummer (Christoph Schneider) from Flake (Christian "Flake" Lorenz). The band has had the same members throughout their entire career. Till Lindemann (the lead singer) is also a pyrotechnician. The German is pronounced "eng-gull", and is German for Angel. They travel with 60 (yes, 60) semi-trucks and a crew of 400 when they tour. They never do two different cities in a week - it takes almost 6 days to set up everything they use in a concert. Everything is choreographed because of the heavy use of fire and fireworks.
Actually, the wings are controlled by Till Lindemann via that "mechanical" left hand. The hose going backstage is for the flammable liquid/gas. The chorus is as follows: "only once the clouds go to sleep, can you see us in the sky, we are afraid and are alone, and God knows I don't want to be an angel". Edit: just noticed someone else did a translation already :p
They're touring in 2021. Tickets for some US dates are still available on Ticketmaster. It's a reschedule from this year. Get tickets and hang on to them no matter the amount of rescheduling. The extra $ for feuerzone tickets are worth it. Spending $ on travel is worth it. The only reason there are some feuerzone tickets available on some dates is they let people refund due to the covid rescheduling. I live in Florida and I have feuerzone tickets for Minneapolis, Minnesota because you do what you have to do to see them live.
Till and flake ( the vocals and keyboards respectively) have actually played together since 89 when they were in a punk band called feeling B, I would assume that means they are probably pretty close. Even when rammstein was starting to get remotely known ( in the late 90s) they had played together for about 8 years. If band members play together in times of obscurity for many years that means they have a strong positive connection. I’m guessing that is why they have that on stage chemistry because actually they have at the time of this recording been making music together for almost 20 years.
I was lucky enough to see them in Cleveland in 2012. It was their first US tour in over a decade. It was absolutely amazing. I have seen Slipknot 8 times, and Rammstein was every bit as entertaining, maybe even more. The precision of the pyro is incredible. Perfectly in sync with the music, and sometimes inches away from Till shooting up through the stage around him. Flake is the only keyboard player they have ever had. If you like him, Rammstein released an album called “klavier” (piano). It is an entire album of just flake playing Rammstein songs. Such a beautiful album. It is on Spotify.
I have seen them 3 times now and the last time blew the first 2 out of the water, I knew it was going to be special when I was walking up to the arena and could see the stage set sticking out of the top of the arena. Everytime I see them they are better than the time before
They played at the Rockout festival in Chile... that is the best show i´ve seen in my life. it was awesome! and this song was even better, I think there was more pyro and Til was hanging from the ceiling...
RAMMSTEIN - Till Lindeman - Vocals, Richard Kruspe-Guitar, Paul Landers -Guitar, Oliver Riedel -Bass, Christoph Schneider - Drums, Christian Lorenz - Keyboards.
I saw them live @stadion stockholm sweden 2019, I went straight home and bought tickets for the Gothenbourg show 2020, hopefully I will see them next year, awesome show, when they come to Amerika, you have to see them, you just have too see them, the livevideos are really good, and the shows are times 10
Till, the lead singer, is a licensed pyrotechnician. In their early shows, they had a lot of accidents with the pyro techs they hired, so he said 'fuck this shit', got his own license and leads all of their pyro work.
I was at this show. It was Christmas time. 30 degrees outside and Madison square garden was 85 degrees by the end of the night. We were sweating leaving the show and we weren’t in the pit
want to see a Rammstein exaggeration in performance? lookup 'Sonne' 2019 in Dresden (Germany) (put a bucket of water beside you) btw: it is private and will not be blocked
I have been on concerts since 1983 (yes I'm old) and have seen the most of the BIG rock bands. I saw them august 2019 in Stockholm and that was the best ever concert. No doubt.
Y'all asked a while back if they sang in english or a different language than german, they have 2 i know of, in english they covered Stripped by Depeche Mode, in spanish (my fun favorite) they have a song called Te Quiero Puta. Keep spiraling my dudes!
the guy to his right is Richard Z. Kruspe, a guitar player and a main composer for Rammstein. back in 1991 he and the vocalist's ex-wife welcomed a daughter Khira who shares a last name with Till Lindemann rather than with her actual dad. that's the closest related as Lindemann and Kruspe get.
#RappersReact I was stationed in Germany for almost 10 years. I have seen Rammstein live more that a dozen times. All of their shows are that impressive and they last about 2 hours.
All the members are trained pyrotechnics. I saw Rammstein 17 years ago in Scotland and its still the best stage show I've ever seen. And I've seen 100s of bands since.
To answer all your questions: - no one in the band is related, they are long time friends though - the band never had any lineup change, it's the same keyboardist ;) - whistling wasn't real, it's pre-recorded - Till (the singer) himself controlled the wings
If you haven't done anything by Lordi, you haven't done Halloween justice! Check out their music video for "Blood Red Sandman" for a good example. Just make sure to look for an hd version as there are a few low quality ones floating around youtube for some reason. Happy Halloween!
The wings are actually controlled by the singer using the huge mechanic glove on his left hand. As to whistling - just like the woman's angelic backing voice it's pre-recorded. And they never had any new members in the band, all original crew since day one. Flake being bullied is a stage gimmick. Hope that answers some of your questions)
To answer some of your questions:
The metal wings weigh about 50kg (110 lbs), can't imagine how heavy it feels especially when folded back 🙈
Till Lindemann suffers from stage fright, he stated in an interview years ago that he hates it to be looked at and is in general a pretty sensitive guy (spends his time in the woods writing poems and fairytales).

The huge show kinda is Till's way to hide on stage. It's like being an actor in a theater piece.
Love you two and your jouney into metal. All the best to you ✌️
Yeah you can definitely tell he's fighting off stage fright in this particular live performance cuz he's looking up a lot. Till is baby 💖👼
Dude thanks for this
>tfw introvert band leader
>I'm sweaty
>my wings are too heavy
>I want to go home and write poems
My favourite live performance band
Rammstein's members are:
Vocalist: Till Lindemann
Lead Guitarist: Richard Z. Kruspe
Rhythm Guitarist: Paul Landers
Bassist: Oliver "Ollie" Riedel
Drums: Christoph "Doom" Schneider
Keyboardist: Chrisitan "Flake" Lorenz
They've never had a lineup change in their history (never changed members).
And that's over 20 years of existence.
Yeah the keyboardist “Flake” was put on a treadmill because he likes to run around and has gotten burned so it lets him channel that energy
though he's frequently the butt of their jokes in concerts and videos, they've said he is one of the most important members of the band.
And he felt to "fixed", on one spot ,because of the nature of all the Keyboard equipment...
I was at one of their concerts in august 2019 in Oslo. And it was easily THE BEST live performance and concert I have EVER seen or been to. We are afraid and alone / Because God knows I don't want to be an angel
God knows I don't want to be an angel / God knows I don't want to be an angel"
Sonne from the Moscow 2019 stadium tour. It doesn’t get any bigger of better.
I must say that Puppe during that tour was a piece of work as well! I couldn't care less for confetti or streamers or whatever but when it's pouring for a full minute from all over the stadium and still twirling around the stadium for 15 more minutes even I find it amazing.
Moscow was amazing tour.
That's true. I was travelling to Moscow from Bavaria, Germany to see this show!
Till was actually controlling the flames with the claw on his hand and yes they are actually whistling
For the live show, the whistles are pre-recorded. Flake plays them on his keyboard as a sample (he does the same with the female voice) and both guitarists Paul (the one you were talking about) and Richard, act as if they are whistling.

“That is fire!”... ha.
Just wait.
And yeah, every show of Rammstein is an live fire show and they're are loved for this kind of art and music show!!
The Vocalist Till Lindemann is also a trained Pyrotechnican and therefor has a license to work with fire/fireworks so he totally knows all the time what he is doing on every Concert with his Fireshow and makes sure everyone in the Band and the Fans stay safe during it
Well lead singer is a pyrotech so.
And new subscriber...i love you guys!
Hey I have an idea for you to consider. You should start doing a "Feuer Friday" where you play do a different Rammstein song every week.
Agree
Or some form of NDH? More than Rammstein out there!
YES!!
YES!!!!
YESSS!

I've been to a Rammstein show in 2001 with Mudvayne, System Of A Down and Slipknot. One of the best shows i ever seen.
Pledge of allegiance tour. Dont forget american headcharge was in that lineup as well. Best show I've been to.
Every single show is like this. I have seen them live 5 times over the years. First time in 1999 and the last show was last year. They add new crazy stuff for every tour. This is a band you have to see live sometime :)

I was on four Rammstein Concerts ...2009, 2010, 2011 and 2019 ... its still getting better and better from concert to concert
Hello guys, greetings from germany: Feuer frei was a part of the official soundtrack from the first triple xxx movie with vin diesel :)
YES YES YES!!!! THANK YOU!! 💜🔥💜🔥💜
Tidbit: the whistle has been my notification tone for a long time!!

I went to the show in chicago 10 years ago when i was 23 and It’s to date one of the most memorable concerts I have ever been to!! I loved every second.
Rammstein is the best Techno/Industrial Metal band to date, PERIOD. Fite ME!
I love Rammstein almost 20 years. I was once in live concert in Prague (Czech Republic). I mostly love death metal but Rammstein is best band ever for me... You two look like great guys. Keep up the good work. Grettings from Czech Republic (neighbor of Germany :).

Seen them twice live. They are amazing!

React to Rammstein "Wollt Ihr Das Bett in Flammen Sehen?" (Do you want to see the bed in flames?). React to the Paris Live Video.
oh my god YES.
This song is the penultimate Rammstein song, for me.
I cannot agree enough with this suggestion.
This my favorite song by the boys. You should listen to the studio version though and turn it up loud!
They are the best band i ever seen live!!
What a shame, they have the perfect one for Halloween: "Mein Teil" live, it´s about a real case of cannibalism that hapenned in Germany. Still this song is a blast! The riff, the bass line, the whistling, the theme, the pyro, the wings...EPIC!!

AR C Too late, but I think the original Video of "Mein Herz brennt" would be perfect
At the end of the song, the explotions are a part of the back af the stage. You can see that the background are getting disassembled in sections. So for every bang a section disappears. Great reaction from you guys.
Seen them twice. Yes, their stage shows are always THAT awesome.

Rammstein shows are breathtaking. In nearly every song you got this show. It is just epic for the eyes and the ears.

05:06 Haha aw man, if only :)
Love your reactions, you guys are really fun to watch, so chilled and clearly enjoying making these videos.
I've seen them in Nimes, France, Copenhagen Denmark, and Bern Switzerland. The answer to your question regarding the crowds at these stadiums, is yes they go wild from note one until the last. Till is amazingly shy as hell but very humble.
The lead singer's name is Til Lindemann. His solo music is just as good as Rammstein's music.
Though even less youtube friendly for the official videos ;)
@@gloriebluestein9721 Praise abort maybe, but the videos from his second album are quite good
@@PaulHanney "knebel" is worse than praise abort.....
@@gloriebluestein9721 Nope. No lyrics by anyone has shocked me.
I disagree... don't think it's as good
Here in NYC we just got 25% inside dining at the end of last month. My jobs involve large crowds so I haven’t worked since the first night of the Big East tournament.
I have been on their concert twice. In Belgrade, Serbia. They are insane, so professional, they play every concert like it's their last. Nice memories 4 this stupid lock down
Yes, if they bring out their full production, every show of them is like that ;)
They are insane live. Can't wait to see them again. One of my favorite groups of all time. Rammlied next and Nebel. The singer Till Lindemann is a drummer as well, but I love his voice. They command the stage and I love every second of it!! Great reaction btw
And speaking Rammstein - Nebel, maybe do Lindemann - Knebel too.
Check them out
yes. I have been to a couple of Rammmstein shows. they are all awesome. The put on a great show.
Just for the protocol...the "s" in Rammstein is pronounced like the "sh" in dish,and the song Engel speak out the "eng" like the "ang" in anger and your pronounciation is perfect like an old germans would. Cheers from the land of Bier",Bretzeln and Rammstein ;
Till is a pyrotechnic engineer and creates all that shit.
Yes. All their shows are like this. Been there, whish I could be there again.
I saw them live here in Chile, you can really feel the heat of that fire, really awesome concert
React to Rammstein "Ich Tu Dir Weh" (I Hurt You). React to the Madison Square Garden Live Video.
I have been to 3 Rammstein concerts. Everytime it was bigger and better.
If you EVER have the chance to see them live. You HAVE to go. It is hands down one of the best live shows you will ever see in your life.
Saw them live in Iceland a few years ago. It was amazing, all the fire and stuff wow, the heat from it was crazy. Love watching you guys react 😊
RAMMSTEIN - Till Lindeman - Vocals, Richard Kruspe-Guitar, Paul Landers -Guitar, Oliver Riedel -Bass, Christoph Schneider - Drums, Christian Lorenz - Keyboards.
Speaking of Marilyn Manson, he's in Rammstein's Haifisch video
They are also sort of friends, with Chad Smith also.
It's not Manson, but an impersonator. However, Rammstein and MM played together "The Beautiful People" back in 2012, that was amazing.

I saw them 5 times. Including one show with 76 thousand crowd. Outside shows are more fireworks than inside.
I saw them live 18years ago, this year again and 2024 im ready for third time. And yes, its like nothing else You ever seen🎉.
all the band members are original, circa 1994. Great band and i've been told they do whistle live and til controls the wings
I was at this show. It was Christmas time. 30 degrees outside and Madison square garden was 85 degrees by the end of the night. We were sweating leaving the show and we weren’t in the pit
The keyboardist is actually the leader of the band. Saw them twice. Both times in Chicago. They were actually my first concert.
want to see a Rammstein exaggeration in performance?
lookup 'Sonne' 2019 in Dresden (Germany)
(put a bucket of water beside you)
btw: it is private and will not be blocked
I have been on concerts since 1983 (yes I'm old) and have seen the most of the BIG rock bands. I saw them august 2019 in Stockholm and that was the best ever concert. No doubt.
Yay! I was wondering if Rammstein would make the 13 days of Halloween! Awesomesauce!🤘🤘
Indeed
I was there at that concert. It was epic!!!!!
#RappersReact I was stationed in Germany for almost 10 years. I have seen Rammstein live more that a dozen times. All of their shows are that impressive and they last about 2 hours.
Rammstein has so many good riffs.
All the members are trained pyrotechnics. I saw Rammstein 17 years ago in Scotland and its still the best stage show I've ever seen. And I've seen 100s of bands since.
Fun fact in twin peaks the return, david lynchs character gordon cole can be heard whistling this song in a scene.
Bro saw them live, I felt I was in danger with all this pyrotechnics going on. I loved it!
To answer all your questions:
- no one in the band is related, they are long time friends though
- the band never had any lineup change, it's the same keyboardist ;)
- whistling wasn't real, it's pre-recorded
- Till (the singer) himself controlled the wings
I LOLed when he said “that is fire” at 7:47. I was thinking, just you wait!
If you haven't done anything by Lordi, you haven't done Halloween justice!
Check out their music video for "Blood Red Sandman" for a good example. Just make sure to look for an hd version as there are a few low quality ones floating around youtube for some reason. Happy Halloween!
I've been to a Rammstein concert in Brussels. Best show ever.
Been years but i was at their first tour in America. By far the greatest live show i will ever be a part of. They were not whistling by the way
