Hi from an old guy in Germany. This was one of the best reactions to a Rammstein song I ever had the pleasure to watch. Thanks a lot. And it would be great to see more reactions from you to some others of Rammstein's masterpieces. And there are a lot and all of them are unique and special and just awesome. That's the reason why you'll never get a clear answer from RS fans what's their favorit song, there are just way to many outstanding songs. A few recommendations: "Zeit" (official video), "Ich will" (live Hurricane Festival 2016), "Wollt Ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?" (live Paris), "Adieu" (official video), "Ohne dich" (official video), "Mein Herz brennt Piano version" (offical video", "Du riechst so gut" (live Hellfest 2016), "Sehnsucht" (live Moscow 2019), "Du hast" (live Paris), "Deutschland" (official video), "Rammlied" (live Madison Square Garden), "Mutter" (live Paris)
I saw their concert in Budapest and the only sorry I have is that I did not see it twice (as they had two days). They should be marked as state brand. Their concert now is breathtaking and shokilly beautiful and I am proud there was an oportunity to witness such show. And the people...100k each day, at the end is like they received positive energy all over, calm, smiling, laughing...you would have said they exited an opera house!!
I waited 16 years to see them live and I legit cried when I saw this live. The video doesn't do it justice, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm tearing up just recalling my experience.
Now you've done. You are forever trapped with that whistle in your mind. Quickly followed by sudden bouts of headbanging. It is too late. Your world is over. I am sorry, my friend. "Engel" has claimed another victim.
Also...Rammstein is German efficiency at its finest. Musically, amazing. Till, the lead singer has all the training for the pyro, and does it all himself.
One last thing I just recently found out, and now that I know what I'm looking for, I see it. He has massive, nearly crippling fright. Now that I know what to look at, if you watch, he never looks directly at the audience, always focusing on some object. And even with that stage fright, this man has endless crowd control.
Rammstein are way, way more than just a metal band with some killer rifts..their music very much about our dark side with some great comical stuff such 'as 'keine Lust'' etc and also some epic ballads like ''Ohne Dich''...excellent reaction, er, more Rammstein please
I have waited years to get tickets. Now got two going to Dublin June 2024. Rammstein are by far the most innovative and musically talented rock band ever. I'm 60 and have seen most of the greats from Bob Dylan to Pink Floyd. Nothing though compares to a Rammestein concert it is literally a spiritual life changing experience.
I am new to Rammstein only found their music three weeks ago, and boy I am hooked they now have become my favorite band. I would love to see more Rammstein reactions please. I hope one day I get to experience them Live in concert if they ever come to New Zealand. To me Rammstein is Art in music form, there's no other band on their level that do what they do. I haven't heard a song I don't like yet. if I could suggest some, I would say Zeit, Deutschland, Adieu, Ohne Dich, Mutter, Ich Tu Dir Weh, Sonne. I will be going to watch what you have reacted too in the past from Rammstein.
I remember when I was turned on to Rammstein about 15 years ago and I've been a devote fan ever since. They are in a class all their own, no one else does what these guys do and for those of us that get that, it's the very reason we love them so much. If you like Rammstein I suggest you check out a few other German bands that I was turned on to because of my Pandora station. Stahlmann, Oomph, Megaherz, Eisbrecher are just a few, but I'm sure you'll like them,
@@arnodobler1096 there is a ramstein army base germany, they named themselves after (an interesting opic to look into btw. ). But we are no army, just a buch of people that appreciates art.
they have been to NZ before mate, hopefully they come back again (it was an amazing show btw). having said that, they are one of the few bands i would travel overseas to see again. good luck Angela!
I was stationed in California in the mid 90s...just when this song started to get popular in the US. I remember hearing at clubs and thinking the beat was great. I remember one night, hearing the song for about the 4th time in my life and realizing it was in German. I looked at my friend (who spoke German), I asked....is this song in German. He laughed...ya you never realized...he knew I heard it a few times....
Please please please do more Rammstein! I've been a fan since I first discovered them in 1997 and I've been lucky enough to see them live a couple of times. They have an incredible catalog of the most artistic musical masterpieces you could ever experience. Always look up lyrics first and then sit back and enjoy!
I'm from Germany and went to a concert of Rammstein. If you stand in the first row, you have to worry about getting burned, but it's something you should experience. Great Reaction from you, Pece.
Flake (the keyboard player) is always on his treadmill during those concerts. He's walked many, many miles and keeps in shape this way :D An Easter European white gal here, who's been listening to Rammstein since 1997. I'm so glad that you found them and that you enjoy them! They truly are like one magnificent body with six souls working in perfect unison - kinda like a tremendous German-made Jaeger mech, aren't they? :D
Now that you are getting into the lyrics, it makes sense to react more to this band, whose singer is also a poet. Try Rammstein’s song Zeit. Please watch the music video and turn on auto translate captions. They are close enough luckily and you can still read later a better translation for the things you might have missed.
Amazing reaction! Thank you so much for taking the time to look at and think about the lyrics. A lot of their lyrics have double or even triple meanings as well so as well as reading them, I would suggest doing a little bit of reading around the meaning of each song before you react if possible. It won't spoil your reaction, in fact it would enhance it I think. Some things just aren't obvious to non- native German speakers even if we have the lyrics in front of us. So it's good to have an idea of various cultural references and theories as well. Subscribed and looking forward to your next Rammstein reacts!
Thanks for yr reaction. How is it possible that after I have been (very lucky) in 2 live shows of Rammstein, seeing and hearing this music, after seeing hundreds of reactions in TH-cam, I stay yet astonished with yr reaction? Because everything was fantastic: video; reaction; music; fire; Tim; the band; ..... everything!
Germany has a long history of highly emotive and surreal stagecraft in their deep performance art. Look to Germany in the 20s-30s, specifically the Bauhaus movement, and lots of Rammstein's visuals will have a much deeper connection. Also, as one of the earliest pioneers of synths German groups have never gotten rid of it entirely in the music as often-with Rammstein in particular-instead highlighting it within a majority of songs as a voice often representing the surreal or mechanical qualities of existence.
I first saw Rammstein in Seattle in 1998. Paramount theater. It was AMAZING!!! They lit EVERYTHING on fire, including themselves! (They were coated with flame retardent chemicals). Their spark wheel made the stage disappear in sparks! They even used a flame thrower!!! There were at least 9 fire engines parked outside when we left. (No fire occurred.)
This is the first time, I left a sub right away after a reaction to my favorite band at once. That was great reaction. If you do more of these, I'll a happy Rammstein fan. With love from Germany 😎 🤘🏻
Engel official video is more disturbing. It's a visual tribute to Tarantino's "from Dusk to Dawn". With a sinister hint that angels are in fact abused children (we're afraid and alone), becoming angels coz they're too young and innocent to be a "normal" inhabitant of Heaven. They're not enjoying beatitude like other blessed souls, they don't understand why they've been hurt, why they died, why they're angels... So Till Lindemann (lead vocal) says "God knows [that] I don't want to became an angel" And is just ONE of the multiple possible interpretation of the lyrics
The Lead Singer is a Pyro-technician so the shows have a certain flare. As a note, the band is very widely followed and this performance sold out in 30 minutes, which is epic. Speaking of epic, if you haven't already, check out Epica (possibly Sancta Terra Ft Floor Janson) or any Nightwish or Sabaton piece. Liked your genuine reaction.
A few to check out... Ich Tu Dir Weh (Live from Madison Square Garden) Du Hast (Live in Paris) Dicke Titten(with English subtitles)...the best fun video of 2022! Rammlied (Live from Madison Square Garden) Bück dich - Live From Paris 2017 Ich Will (Hurricane Festival 2016) PROSHOT HD (with English subtitles) Links 2-3-4 / PROSHOT(Download Festival 2016) Sonne (LIVE Europe Stadium Tour 2019) [Multicam by RLR] 4K Sehnsucht (Berlin Wuhlheide 1998) ...and last but not least...Zeit (with English subtitles)...beautiful, emotional, and quite possibly the greatest music video ever made.
When you can you should get the full concert, sit down on a comfortable chair, get some good sound system on it and just watch the show from one end to the other, one of the most fantastic and visually full you will ever see :)))
Saw them first in 1997 on a festival in my home country Belgium and since then I am hooked 😂 Ollies bass line is amazing in this song and it makes you wanna headbang so hard 🤟🏻 Keep going down that rabbit hole, there is a lot more songs to discover by them ❤️
I appreciate a lot that you took the time to look up the lyrics so you can understand what is being sung about, since they always add a ton when it comes to this band. Should you decide to react to more of them, the newest songs have the option to turn on auto-generated english subtitles and they are pretty accurate :) If you enjoy the deeper story in this one, I think you would appreciate "Deutschland" (a song about the history of germany and the troubled relation to it), "Angst" and "Zeit", all of them the official videos. Very good videos with layers of storytelling in it with wonderful music.
It’s just pure art! It purely does what art is supposed to do: provoke, make people think out of the box although it might be not comfortable … and by the way it’s the fucking best show I’ve ever seen live! 🤘can’t wait to see them for the 4th time in summer
I learned about this band from this song, seeing it in a computer club, in 2000+-, only it was superimposed on a video from an anime "Evangelion : Rammstein - Engel"
Rammstein have the comments turned off on all of their stuff. They simply exist in their own creative world and don't give a damn what anybody think. They are pure artists in that respect.
I hope you revisit your earlier reactions! I've seen other channels do that because after a while of doing this, they've come to understand and appreciate things more than they had before, I think that's a wonderful idea! This song is fascinating, with the haunting whistle, nasty groove and sick synth breakdown. I'll be here to see your revisit videos!
It's pronounced Angle Which means Angel ☺️♥️ I love your efforts in pronunciation and your sharing of your video viewing experience Welcome To RRRRRamstein!! Pronounced Rrrom Shtine ei is pronounced as I 👍✌️
It really says a lot to the magnitude of your focus in taking it all in that at the end you were concerned that you may have missed something. And dude! You just whistled! You damn near got it just keep tryin!
A tip, if you want to know how to pronounce Rammstein you should listen/react to the songs wollt ihr das bett in flammen sehen or the song Rammstein with them (to mention a few)
Rammstein are from Berlin, Germany. Flake (the guy playing the keyboards) is on a treadmill, yeah. I think he walks and dances 10 miles in a 2 hour show on that thing. and yeah, these wings are flamethrowers and hold fireworks. Till Lindemann (the singer) is a certifies pyro technician, some say the whole band got certified. And boy, tehy are pyromaniacs. There's rumors that the first 3 rows in Madison Square garden legt the building without eyebrows after that concert 😉
Thumbs up. 👍 I don't know which songs/videos from Rammstein you've already reacted to. So I'll give you a "few" suggestions. If you want to see more of their (incredible) live performances I would suggest Rammlied (live from Madison Square Garden) Du hast (live from Paris) Sonne (live at Rock im Park 2017) Links 2 3 4 (live from Madison Square Garden) Ich will (live from Hurricane Festival 2016) Ich tu dir weh (live from Madison Square Garden) (don't take the lyrics too serious) Mein Teil (live at Hurricane Festival 2013) Amazing official videos Sonne (Sun) heavy, screwed up fairy-tale Links 2 3 4 (left) partly heavy march Ich will (I want) heavy, simple, way to celebrity Spring! (Jump!) (fan-made animated version with english subtitles) slow, partly heavy, very dark sarcasm! Radio (Radio) catchy song (with serious background) Keine Lust (not in the mood) heavy, funny, slidely sad Mein Herz brennt (My heart burns) scary, nightmarish, very special Amerika (America) catchy, not a love song Mein Land (My land), sounds & looks like easy living (unless you look at the slightly developing of the lyrics) Newest official videos from their last album "Zeit" in sequence of the tracks on the album: Zeit (Time) slow, dark, melancholic, emotional Zick Zack (Snip Snap) catchy song, sarcastic, funny Angst (Fear) very Rammstein, scary, credits at the end are helpful to understand the message Dicke Titten (Big Boobs) heavy (most of the time), catchy, funny, credits are funny too (my view) Adieu (Goodbye) dark, sometimes heavy, emotional Last but not least the great (but not nice) video "Deutschland" which has a lot of references to (mostly unpleasent) parts of German history. Video, lyrics, and sound are great (my view) and work very well together. For many of Rammstein's videos there are English subtitles available. To find a lot of them, you may search on TH-cam for: "educated marine rammstein" + songname For live videos of Rammstein songs, www.youtube.com/@Bucksttabu/playlists is a good source. In case of Rammstein, precise translations of the lyrics is hard work (and sometimes not possible in subtitles), because they are playing many times with double meanings of words or slightly modify common German expressions and symbolic language pictures to invert or change their meanings. (That is even used in the very simple lyrics of "Du hast".) I wish you to enjoy your Rammstein journey.

I agree with you. It is fun to see reactors who agree with your own feelings.

A long time ago I was asked what is my fav song in the new album of RS. I was like, what do you mean? There is no weak song in the whole RS world...

I love rammstein. Been to 2 off their concerts. Paris and Montpellier.
Engel is my ring tone
Engel was the first song by Rammstein I ever heard back in 1995. I was stunned even without such awesome performance.
but Engel came out in 1997
@@pankuba4704 Officially - yes, but it was on the ending credits of Mortal Kombat movie.

YOUR reaction have me chills!
Talk about expression through music huh?
Your reaction is priceless!! 🎉 Send from the Netherlands, Europe
I like that you read the lyrics first, then continued.
Now your eyes are open when you walk in
Best live band in the world and in these days the greatest metal/rock show on the road
Love it, love this band, I hope you had fun watching it. 🎉❤❤❤❤❤ you're words were so positive.
Those 4 pillars that exploded were all on fire. People don't realize this. The heat must of been unreal.
Super 🤘 Great reaction
And the crowd was singing along in German at Madison Square Garden.
it's no coincidence that ramsteins are at the top for decades, while others stay there for one summer, and then are forgotten!
Germany has a long history of highly emotive and surreal stagecraft in their deep performance art. Look to Germany in the 20s-30s, specifically the Bauhaus movement, and lots of Rammstein's visuals will have a much deeper connection. Also, as one of the earliest pioneers of synths German groups have never gotten rid of it entirely in the music as often-with Rammstein in particular-instead highlighting it within a majority of songs as a voice often representing the surreal or mechanical qualities of existence.
omg LMAO here watching you, good stuff my man
Rammstein are a German band, they used to be my go to music to do Housework too 😂
The band is from Berlin. 11:00 - Techno capital.
I hope you‘ll do more Rammstein reactions !
Rammstein reflect the spirit of Germany : caught in the dark past while trying to catch the spark of magnificence of what it is actually capable of
I first saw Rammstein in Seattle in 1998. Paramount theater. It was AMAZING!!! They lit EVERYTHING on fire, including themselves! (They were coated with flame retardent chemicals). a good one for beginners....
"Rammlied"
the opener from that show at Madison Square Garden
greetings from Germany 😀
The Lead Singer is a Pyro-technician so the shows have a certain flare. As a note, the band is very widely followed and this performance sold out in 30 minutes, which is epic. Speaking of epic, if you haven't already, check out Epica (possibly Sancta Terra Ft Floor Janson) or any Nightwish or Sabaton piece. Liked your genuine reaction.
actually i heard every member is a pyro-technician.
I very rarely run across another nightwish fan, anywhere!❤
Welcome to the Rammstein rabbit hole 🖤
More Rammstein please, my guy :) Both their videos and live performances are legendary !
they have some of the best pyro out there

Best reaction I find on internet
Official Rammstein videos always have comments turned off.

Thank You For Sharing
Yes, revisit Rammstein's catalogue. Thanks for the depth of reaction here.
Saw them first in 1997 on a festival in my home country Belgium and since then I am hooked 😂 Ollies bass line is amazing in this song and it makes you wanna headbang so hard 🤟🏻
Keep going down that rabbit hole, there is a lot more songs to discover by them ❤️
Great reaction, man - more Rammstein, please!? 🙂

Shout out to Black Pegasus for making you react to Rammstein - the best freaking band in the world!
You really need to go to one of their concerts
If you ever have the chance, go and watch them live!
Hi, from a german girl 😅
Im so proud of Rammstein...simply the Best German Band ever❤
I learned about this band from this song, seeing it in a computer club, in 2000+-, only it was superimposed on a video from an anime "Evangelion : Rammstein - Engel"
Engel = Angel
Rammstein have the comments turned off on all of their stuff. They simply exist in their own creative world and don't give a damn what anybody think.
They are pure artists in that respect.
I'm afraid very soon they will have to care 😢 they're going to fuck them up in Germany right now.
Just a simple correction you pronounce stein as you would in Frankenstein. Awesome reaction!
👍❤ more Rammstein
These guys sold out Madison Square Garden within 20 minutes!
This is another deep rabbithole that opened up right there 😂
It's pronounced
Angle
Which means Angel
☺️♥️
I love your efforts in pronunciation and your sharing of your video viewing experience
Welcome To
RRRRRamstein!!
Pronounced
Rrrom
Shtine
ei is pronounced as I
👍✌️
It really says a lot to the magnitude of your focus in taking it all in that at the end you were concerned that you may have missed something. And dude! You just whistled! You damn near got it just keep tryin!
You are the best ❤❤❤
Yes a see him lástima yer and are souu amazing ❤😂un real
Try this:
Rammstein (lit. ramming stone) = RHUM-SHTINE (think of Einstein)
Engel (angel) = ENGH-EL (hard G)
Seeing them alive will change you, your life, and your attitude to perform on stage forever!!!
Guardians and other angels all have purpose and positions.
Wraphs or avenging angels, messenger or evangelizing angels are awesome.
Till does not walk around with the wings anymore, he was actually getting back problems from the weight of them.
A tip, if you want to know how to pronounce Rammstein you should listen/react to the songs wollt ihr das bett in flammen sehen or the song Rammstein with them (to mention a few)
Flake, the keyboard guy on the treadmill, walks 17 miles a show on average.
The rammstein rabbit hole....welcome Alice
Rammstein has comments off in all social media just to avoid people discussing if they are N@Z1 or not
I love you.

Thumbs up. 👍
I don't know which songs/videos from Rammstein you've already reacted to. So I'll give you a "few" suggestions.
If you want to see more of their (incredible) live performances I would suggest
Rammlied (live from Madison Square Garden)
Du hast (live from Paris)
Sonne (live at Rock im Park 2017)
Links 2 3 4 (live from Madison Square Garden)
Ich will (live from Hurricane Festival 2016)
Ich tu dir weh (live from Madison Square Garden) (don't take the lyrics too serious)
Mein Teil (live at Hurricane Festival 2013)
Amazing official videos
Sonne (Sun) heavy, screwed up fairy-tale
Links 2 3 4 (left) partly heavy march
Ich will (I want) heavy, simple, way to celebrity
Spring! (Jump!) (fan-made animated version with english subtitles) slow, partly heavy, very dark sarcasm!
Radio (Radio) catchy song (with serious background)
Keine Lust (not in the mood) heavy, funny, slidely sad
Mein Herz brennt (My heart burns) scary, nightmarish, very special
Amerika (America) catchy, not a love song
Mein Land (My land), sounds & looks like easy living (unless you look at the slightly developing of the lyrics)
Newest official videos from their last album "Zeit" in sequence of the tracks on the album:
Zeit (Time) slow, dark, melancholic, emotional
Zick Zack (Snip Snap) catchy song, sarcastic, funny
Angst (Fear) very Rammstein, scary, credits at the end are helpful to understand the message
Dicke Titten (Big Boobs) heavy (most of the time), catchy, funny, credits are funny too (my view)
Adieu (Goodbye) dark, sometimes heavy, emotional
Last but not least the great (but not nice) video "Deutschland" which has a lot of references to (mostly unpleasent) parts of German history. Video, lyrics, and sound are great (my view) and work very well together.
For many of Rammstein's videos there are English subtitles available. To find a lot of them, you may search on TH-cam for: "educated marine rammstein" + songname
For live videos of Rammstein songs, www.youtube.com/@Bucksttabu/playlists is a good source.
In case of Rammstein, precise translations of the lyrics is hard work (and sometimes not possible in subtitles), because they are playing many times with double meanings of words or slightly modify common German expressions and symbolic language pictures to invert or change their meanings. (That is even used in the very simple lyrics of "Du hast".)
I wish you to enjoy your Rammstein journey.
You need to watch buck dich family values tour😂
More Rammstein ❤
