The keyboarder actually started the whole thing because he felt he was too awkward just standing at the keyboard and needed something to do :D I've seen them live this year and the treadmill actually malfunctioned. It was quite funny seeing him kinda walking on the spot but not really. He seemed a little lost standing still in one place.
Rammstein: the only band that is absolutely 100% sober during every concert due to health and safety. It's a miracle that the worst thing that has ever happened with their daring pyro shows is that the lead singer was run over by the keyboardist on a segway :D
They do have a pre show tradition of listening to Mexican mariachi and doing a shot of tequila in the dressing room before hitting the stage. But still not enough to get a German inebriated
@@mitchkramah You're allowed to drive here as long as you're not over 0.5 per mille of blood alcohol level, so performing with only one shot of tequila, which is defenitely under that bar, is absolutely still sober. For us fans that's great news at least because they're never gonna fall off stage inebriated or drugged out or just perform shittly which so many other musicians seem fond of doing.

I've been listening to Rammstein since their beginnings. For the first time I was at a Clawfingers concert that made Rammstein a lead band and I did not believe what I heard and saw. After a few years, history turned around and the Clawfingers formed the lead band Rammstein. I have been and will also be at all their concerts here in the Czech Republic. In my opinion, this band has the best stage show in the world. Pyro effects are invented by the band's singer, who is also very interested in their production. Till has a very special and unique voice without vibration at the end. The lyrics and themes of the songs are very thoughtful, deep and make you think. The band founded a new music genre NDH (Neue Deutsche Härte). If you are a fan of them and you are at their concert, you are incredibly excited, happy, tanned by fire, completely wet and deaf for other days. You get the best music experience in the world. 🙂 I also recommend the song "Ich tu dir weh" where you can hear Till's voice much more. Thanks for the reaction, keep going! 🤟
Best live band in the world by far and in these days the greatest show on the road. Rammstein is one of the most famous metal bands and are living legends with the same line-up for nearly 30 years. They are a german band and are considered the best live band in the world, especially when it comes to showmenship, pyro and fire. Above all, Rammstein uses pyro quite differently than all other bands. Rammstein's music is a mixture of techno (electronic music) and metal (= industrial metal), although Rammsteins origins are in punk music. Rammstein concerts are a life time experience that you will never forget. Their videos are art but also often controversial. Rammstein also refers to classical German literature, e.g. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's. Several of their songs are related to controversial and taboo subjects such as sadomasochism, homosexuality, intersexuality, incest, pedophilia, necrophilia, cannibalism, pyromania, religion and sexual violence. There are people who learn German only because of Rammstein. Rammstein fans are considered to be the craziest and most fanatical fans in the world. In concerts from the hardcore fans all over the world it is expected that you can sing along with the German lyrics even if you don't speak German.
Wherever Rammstein performs in the world, fans can sing along with the German lyrics. Even in France. The band is known for its sensational live performances. The song singer, Till Lindemann, is a trained pyrotechnician and uses his knowledge a lot during the shows. What you might think is blood on his arm is a protective gel against the flames. Fun fact: The keyboardist runs on a treadmill and covers about 16 miles during a concert. 😁😁😁😁😁
I'm so jealous of you having the opportunity to listen through Rammstein's discography for the first time! You've got basically 8 albums worth of songs to sift through. Among the quality of the music and vocals in general, I most appreciate the fact that while Rammstein has always had a consistent core sound (with certain trademark habits they use), there's a clear progression in their larger style from a more gritty and electronic sound to becoming more symphonic and grandiose. Some fans have a clear preference for earlier stuff or later stuff, and it'll be interesting to see which ones become your favorites. Very good reaction! Looking forward to seeing more. There's so many iconic songs to pick from that it's tough to recommend one, but given how many major ones came from their 3rd album, "Mutter (Mother)", it makes sense to suggest listening to the song "Sonne".
The lead singer's shyness is a large part of why they have such great pryo. He became an expert because he felt uncomfortable just standing on stage for the parts where he doesn't sing. I imagine he's over it by now, but we alllll get to benefit :D
@@annegretkasten6277 dancing on a stage during a metal show is really not something musicians do unless the band is called Babymetal. And there just the girls do the dancing the band is doing normal metal band stuff
Rammstein knows how to put on a show, and has elaborate sets. The one at this concert (Rammstein: Live at Madison Square Garden) changed at least 3 times during the show, and was followed up on the next tour, by another stage set that also changed as the concert progressed. Rammstein: Live at Paris is probably the least elaborate of the main stage sets, though there was a giant bridge set and island stage they performed on top of for part of that concert. The current concert stage is somewhere in the middle of the spectrum, but as with all Rammstein concerts, there is always tons of fire to be had. Those wings were more recently used in their Deutschland music video.
Hello from germany 🙂 rammstein are one of the best live bands in the world. check out their performances at madison square garden or their performances in paris. start with : Rammstein: Paris - Du Hast ( Official Video ) you will love this band 👍
I loved the reaction. Also, as an FYI those wings weight in between 80 and a 100 pounds. Till has had several cuts and burns due to those wings. I think that it is a miracle that he can sing while carrying all that weight on him. There is also a backstage video of him yelling at the band to hurry up because those wings are so heavy. And yes, Flake is on a treadmill 😁😁 Next you need to watch the live version of Mein Teil 😁😁
@@hahaannare yes, it is insane that he is able to sing with that thing on. You can see from the way he is bending and how he holds the microphone that he is pushing through. They didn't do it in the last tour though. They sang a Piano version instead and I think it may have been due to that being too much for his age.
@@marylally693 Who would blame them, the wings are also so long so they probably pull him back even more than we think. Also their live shows are already amazing enough, I would rather skip the wings than not have them perform because of injury.
I went to see them for the first time this year in Cardiff. I'm just starting to come down from it now. I had back row nosebleed seats and could barely see anything, but it was honestly a life changing experience. I'm 50 years old and if I die tomorrow, I'll die knowing I saw the best performers on the planet deliver the best performance on the planet. The band is unbelievably tight, they are completely in tune with each other - even though they barely look at each other much less interact. They really are the very definition of professional artists. You deliver one of the better reactions I've seen, you don't do all the over the top personality bullshit. With that in mind, I'd encourage a bit of a deep dive into their music, because I really think you will enjoy the artistry of the band. I'd enjoy seeing your reaction to the official music video of Deutschland and I think that like most people, you will have to watch it a few times as well as watch a few analysis videos to really get how deep they go with just that one song. After that, watch anything you want, understanding that they go just as deep with all of their songs. They aren't just a band, they are artists, in every sense of the word. I'm honestly not just fangirling here. The performance they gave in Cardiff, combined with what I see of their official releases and the work they do, have honestly changed the way I present myself and my outlook on life.
Flake (treadmill) said in an interview that he was bored just standing on stage so that's why he wanted a treadmill haha Overall great reaction! If you want more live perfomances I can recommend Sonne, besides the once others have mentioned. In some of the concerts they even go crowd surfing on a boat (usually for Haifisch or Ausländer as far as I know)
Hey a huge fan of Nightwish and our goddes Floor, rammstein is dope as hell, in Germany there’s like a little tv show called “Sing Meinen Song” and Floor play a song called Mauern with a Rammstein vibe which is dopeee
Oh, gosh, Rammstein have one of the most mind-blowing stages I've ever seen. I literally grew up with their music. Their Du Hast song was playing during every school party, lol. This is an iconic song for children of my generation. Rammstein, Nightwish, Evanescence and Linkin Park was music of our childhood. O strongly recommend you to check out Dir en grey (best performance for starter would be Vinushka Androgynous live from Kaya's channel). You'll love their theatrical attitude, I swear.
You should see the singer singing on stage standing in flames for three minutes. But you have to watch the older concerts. He stopped doing that because it was too scary for the audience. PS: The song is called Rammstein like the band and is about a tragic disaster that really happened.
Welcome to the Rammstein rabbit hole. I'm sorry (not sorry) because now you will get requests for probably every song they've ever made. Rammstein have made many reaction channels blow up in views for some time now. The only songs I recommend the videos over live performansens are probably Sonne, Mein Hertz Brennt, Deutschland, Zeit, Angst and Dicke Titten. Live I would recommend Ich Tu Dir Weh (from MSG), Mein Teil (from Hurricane Festival) and if you haven't reacted to it yet I would suggest Du Hast (from Paris). And yes, this is my favorite band, and yes, I will keep nagging you about it ;)
Gotcha. Welcome to the rabbit hole. I liked that you did appreciate almost every aspect: the whistling, how the band is engaging, Flake on his treadmill, Tills voice and performance and especially the lyrics. As an singer and performer yourself you might appreciate Till wearing these heavy wings at the end of the show and still delivering the song. You will get a lot of recommendations and I hope that you will continue and follow this path and explore the world as seen and created by Rammstein.
Almost 😆.... I always wonder why it's so difficult for people to pronounce the band's name correctly. It can't be that difficult, it's not chinese, is it??
as someone who's loved Rammstein since I was 12 years old, I absolutely love watching Rammstein reaction videos to see that face of "I've never heard or seen anything like this before, it slaps so hard" and just getting hypnotized and head rocking... \m/
Oh boy, tighten your seatbelts it's time to hit the road for the Rammstein Journey! You want awesome live shows? Then you MUST watch "Du Hast" and "Mutter" in Paris. Also "Ich zu dir weh" live at Madison square Garden. Also Rammstein has some of the best music videos known to Mankind. Check out: Zeit, Zick Zack, Dicke Titten, Angst, Mein Herz Brennt (also the piano version), Ohne Dich, Radio, Sonne and maybe their most important and personal masterpiece: Deutschland. But before looking into that more like a short film of a music video you need to look up the most important aspects of German History. Just a brief summary of it to get fullest experience out of "Deutschland" Can't wait to see you do more Rammstein. Keep up the good work and see you soon
In another section of a (this?) live performance, they trapped a harness on him and lifted him up. Oh, and Till, the singer here, is a professional pyrotech. Anything with fire, he made himself.
You should react to Rammstein`s "Du Hast, live in Paris", than the Video-Clips (not live) "Deutschland" (original long version), "Zeit", "Radio", "Angst", "Ausländer", "Mein Herz brennt", "Ich will" and more.
I recommend Rammlied and Ich Tu Dir Weh live from MSG. Mein Teil is also really good live (it is a good song normally but live it brings the whole stage production and presence). (re-reading this, it is hard to convey how much I am not saying to not react to it in text, it is just an important and personal song but you seem to respect lyrics and themes to songs anyway so I wouldn't even need to give you this message. I just see some reaction channels watch Deutschland and not give it the respect it deserves.) Many people will recommend many different songs but I do want to give a, not a warning but a note. Deutschland is a song that people would want you to watch the video for as there are not any official live versions anyway and the song is very symbolistic with the video adding to that. There is a lot of imagery and symbolism that relates to Germany (not just the WW2 Germany we know, but many points in her history) so be prepared to learn as many people will be happy to tell you about all the different points. It would also be interesting to hear how you understand the symbolism and what is shown without knowing everything about Germany's history.
This is the last song in Rammstein's main set. The wings weigh almost 47 pounds. There was a technical issue with one side of the wings during Flake's keyboard solo.
You like fire on stage? Look at Rammsteins live performances of Benzin, Ich tu Dir weh, Feuer frei, Mein Teil. Preferably the european ones, the US does not let them do all of it.... Enjoy! Oh and If you want the Performance they got arrested for in the US: Bück Dich live
Best live band ever. I have seen them 10 times and they never disappointed me. I hope you will react to more Rammstein songs. Love all of your reactions. Love from Sweden 🇸🇪
the song singer till lindemann trained as a pyrotechnician so that they could perform these fire effects on stage. The band Rammstein is famous for their live shows with pyrotechnics. :) Please watch more videos of Rammstein then you will see it. And yes, the band still performs live to this day!
I think I lost my eyebrows during the last show, although I was standing pretty far from the stage. Incredible band! Thank you for the reaction, great as always!
army and long time rammstein fan here, really been enjoying your channel lately 💜 thank you for your reactions been to rammstein concert this summer, the way their performances get better and better!! stage production, pyrotechnics, Till's voice, band -- it was another level show
If you thought this production was great, you should definitely see one of the last tour, it's the best concert I've been to in a long time. It's my second concert of theirs.
On par with his voice and lyrics, the best part of Till's performance, what is probably the secret to it, is he doesnt just "sing", he becomes the character in each of their songs. He acts it out on stage and their amazing props magnify his performance.
I saw them live for the first time in October. Hands down the best show I have ever been to. Lots of fire at their shows. They have some amazing songs. Engel,Sonne,Mein Herz Brennt and Feuer Frei are some of my favorite songs by them.
It fits the song very well, but to be fair, I don't think Till can do much more than stand there stoically with the wings on his back. They weigh 50 kg, which is 110 pounds, and imo you can really see in his posture how heavy they are. On later tours they changed it up a bit and made him hang from the ceiling, so he didn't have to carry the whole weight anymore.
Amazing reaction !! I can’t believe you never listened to Rammstein, same way with Iron Maiden. Both are pillars in the metal genre and you are undoubtedly a great music lover. Besides you noticing all the special production features, some nice music aspects, the uniqueness of his voice, you’re the first noticing the powerfull details in the lyrics. Blows my mind with only some rewinds what you get from 1 view. Hats off!! It’s also noticeable Engel is your first song, the whole (metal) world knows Du Hast’. For a reactor a must and ofcours the live in Paris version. They have so much great songs, lyrics and live shows. I’m 54 and next year My son (14) will join me to another concert of them. Always fun, If you can get hold of tickets never hesitate 🤘🎸🤘
Rammstein is a Long and very interesting journey, that YOU WANT to take, trust me :) . You can start with watching the rest of this Great concert in MSG , there are a lot of live clips from it. Greetings from Bulgaria
If you notice at the end where he is looking up, I see it as beseeching god to de-angel him. The guitarists on each side kneel at that point. Then the bangs commence, I guess gods answer? He dejectedly looks down and it’s over.
The keyboardist is Flake (Flah-kuh) and he's the band's sense of humour in a lot of ways. The treadmill is quite common in live performances and he performs with a kind of mad puppet persona, and he also does a lot of skit segments during songs where there isn't a lot going on for keys. Usually he's the one to be tortured during their darker songs, like in a performance of Ich Tu Dir Weh (I think it's that song anyway) he gets into a bathtub, has a vat of lava/fireworks poured onto him, and emerges in a different outfit.
I'm not even close to be a metal fan, but I really respect and like many of the songs of Rammstein. They do it so incredible. The stageshows, the lyrics and also the music videos... Try a reaction to the video of 'Angst' and after that try 'Deutschland'. 'Deutschland' is much more complicated to understand for an foreigner even with subs and you should definitely take the subs on when listening to Rammstein. They have such deep lyrics sometimes. Greetings from Berlin 😎
found this channel with the bts reactions BUT rammstein is my fav band ever. please do more reactions by them, the stage production on their latest tour is crazy, saw them last month and i swear i can still feel the heat of the fire everytime i listen to sonne
I'm usually around here for the BTS reactions but saw that you did Engel. Man what a nostalgia trip. Still a masterpiece in my 30s, when you listen to it on headphones you get those really cool undertones and bass
great reaction - I rediscovered this band. The whole concert at MSG is great - also their video-clips. Some look like Hollywood Movies. Look at "Zeit!" - this is great!!!
You’re doing Rammstein now!?!? 😮 I love them! Best band from Germany ever! I really like Till’s wordplay, he’s a genius, much as RM. My favourite groups so far are BTS, Rammstein and Nightwish! 😎. Great reactions, thank you!
I saw them here in sweden at Ullevi, best show i have seen, rammstein knows how to put on a entertaining performance, if you have any chance to see them live before they retire, do it. The first thing they did to make the show feel industrial they used alot of fuel, diesel i think, just pitch black smoke from atop the scene, you could feel at that instant everyone just got drawn into the show. I looked at how much fuel for pyrotechnics they used during their shows, around 2000 liters of it. It was perfectly cool air in a open stadium, they used the pyros (4 towers in the crowd) and as soon as the towers spewed just one burst of flames, it got so hot, so even if you are far away from the scene, you will NOT miss out.
Beware, once you’ve gone into Rammstein, there’s no turning back.

More Rammstein reactions please. Your insight on their performance is awesome
O thank you!
The lead singer's shyness is a large part of why they have such great pryo. He became an expert because he felt uncomfortable just standing on stage for the parts where he doesn't sing. I imagine he's over it by now, but we alllll get to benefit :D
I remember, he cannot dance. There for the pyrotechnic.
@@annegretkasten6277 dancing on a stage during a metal show is really not something musicians do unless the band is called Babymetal. And there just the girls do the dancing the band is doing normal metal band stuff
Fyi, the most popular Rammstein video to react to is their live performance of Du Hast - Live From Paris. Its up on their official TH-cam
You're going to love Rammstein I reckon! Their videos and their live performances are both amazing.
Their Pyro at concerts is incredible! ! I was on the opposite side of the arena and I could feel the heat where I was! 🔥 🥵 🤘😈🤘
Ich bin 73 Jahre und liebe Rammstein über alles.Ihre Shows sind der Knaller.Du kommst nicht wieder los .Ha Ha Ha 😂😢😅😊❤
Idem 🔥🎸👏👍
Hello from germany 🙂
rammstein are one of the best live bands in the world.
check out their performances at madison square garden or their performances in paris.
start with :
Rammstein: Paris - Du Hast ( Official Video )
you will love this band 👍
I loved the reaction. Also, as an FYI those wings weight in between 80 and a 100 pounds. Till has had several cuts and burns due to those wings. I think that it is a miracle that he can sing while carrying all that weight on him. There is also a backstage video of him yelling at the band to hurry up because those wings are so heavy.
And yes, Flake is on a treadmill 😁😁 Next you need to watch the live version of Mein Teil 😁😁
WILD
Just double checked the weight and some people even said 150 pounds, really insane he can still sing with them on.
You just know that keyboard player has been his entire life in clubs playing EDM and everything between before fame hit on Rammstein
Flake (treadmill) said in an interview that he was bored just standing on stage so that's why he wanted a treadmill haha Overall great reaction! If you want more live perfomances I can recommend Sonne, besides the once others have mentioned. In some of the concerts they even go crowd surfing on a boat (usually for Haifisch or Ausländer as far as I know)
Part of the reason for him looking stoic is that those wings are heavy as hell. He sometimes kind of leans on the mic stand
I think its 40 kgon his back -
F...heavy - to sing with it - 💪✊
Amazing - it looks sooo beautyful ❣
Hey a huge fan of Nightwish and our goddes Floor, rammstein is dope as hell, in Germany there’s like a little tv show called “Sing Meinen Song” and Floor play a song called Mauern with a Rammstein vibe which is dopeee
Ramstein is the best Band on the World. Regards from Germany 🇩🇪 🇩🇪 🇩🇪
More Rammstein 🙏❤️
You should see the singer singing on stage standing in flames for three minutes. But you have to watch the older concerts. He stopped doing that because it was too scary for the audience.
PS: The song is called Rammstein like the band and is about a tragic disaster that really happened.
About Till standing stoic and still as a somber angel - Yes, but also these Wings are steel and effing heavy ;)
In their open air stage settings they've lifted him on a crane off stage with his wings on fire ...
Production value is really off the charts. Check out "Ich Tu Der Wei" from the same show.
Ich Tu Dir weh 😉
th-cam.com/video/6TR12QnOAzE/w-d-xo.html
This song was huge when i was younger. Great to see this guy still slaying the stage so many years later.
Love the music on its own, but combined with the pyrotechnics... wow!
Wow, a reaction TH-camr reacting to videos of my two favorite bands… Rammstein and BTS. Love the variety of music and genres ❤️
Lol. I love how all the reaction videos to Rammstein eventually focus on the treadmill. Lol
Probably the first youtuber that pronounced Rammstein correctly, congrats :D
Almost 😆.... I always wonder why it's so difficult for people to pronounce the band's name correctly. It can't be that difficult, it's not chinese, is it??
This band is so fucking good!! Been listening to them since the 90s
Thanks. Love your reaction!
Till's dad was a poet, it really shows in the band's lyrics :)
Till has also written two books of poetry; "On Quiet Nights" and "100 Poems."
@@deenaengelmann2144 wow I didn't know that, thanks!
as someone who's loved Rammstein since I was 12 years old, I absolutely love watching Rammstein reaction videos to see that face of "I've never heard or seen anything like this before, it slaps so hard" and just getting hypnotized and head rocking...
Just a brief summary of it to get fullest experience out of "Deutschland"
Can't wait to see you do more Rammstein. Keep up the good work and see you soon
Zeit is the ultimate masterpiece. Deutschland was just bombastic but Zeit is more important.
Ohhh yess 💥💥💥💯
@@hungergamesociety9330 Rammstein is probably the band with the most very good and artistically valuable video clips.
Wow, I've never met a professional signer before! I never knew there were people who made a living out of signing things!
Well noticed 😂😎🇧🇻
Do you think they need more? I mean imagine, making a living only by signing things.
They are 50 kilograms (110.231 pounds)
You like fire on stage? Look at Rammsteins live performances of Benzin, Ich tu Dir weh, Feuer frei, Mein Teil. Preferably the european ones, the US does not let them do all of it.... Enjoy!
Oh and If you want the Performance they got arrested for in the US: Bück Dich live
please more rammstein, their live shows are amazing
Best live band ever. I have seen them 10 times and they never disappointed me. I hope you will react to more Rammstein songs. Love all of your reactions. Love from Sweden 🇸🇪
Watching this show with the wings for the first time live was mindblowing!
the song singer till lindemann trained as a pyrotechnician so that they could perform these fire effects on stage. The band Rammstein is famous for their live shows with pyrotechnics. :) Please watch more videos of Rammstein then you will see it. And yes, the band still performs live to this day!
I think I lost my eyebrows during the last show, although I was standing pretty far from the stage. Incredible band! Thank you for the reaction, great as always!
army and long time rammstein fan here, really been enjoying your channel lately 💜 thank you for your reactions
been to rammstein concert this summer, the way their performances get better and better!! stage production, pyrotechnics, Till's voice, band -- it was another level show
Welcome to the rabbit hole! I truly envy your coming journey. Your mind and ears will be fried (in the best way ever)! Leiht euer Ohr einer Legende 😁
Let’s goooo
If you thought this production was great, you should definitely see one of the last tour, it's the best concert I've been to in a long time. It's my second concert of theirs.
I saw them live 4 times ... best shows of my life!!! Rammstein is epic!!!
On par with his voice and lyrics, the best part of Till's performance, what is probably the secret to it, is he doesnt just "sing", he becomes the character in each of their songs. He acts it out on stage and their amazing props magnify his performance.
Rammstein is F E N O M I N A L live! Best live band ever! Their light show, pyrotechnics and overall production of very song is amazing!!!
Dope af 🤘 Please consider reacting to 'Ich Tu Dir Weh' from this same concert. Great stuff mate.
It’s haunting. I was wrecked for a week after this concert. It is mind blowing. I had no idea what I was missing.
Rammstein is a Long and very interesting journey, that YOU WANT to take, trust me :) . You can start with watching the rest of this Great concert in MSG , there are a lot of live clips from it.
Greetings from Bulgaria
I had a VCD of their Live Aus Berlin show back from 1998....absolutely amazing live show
@@eppyomega They came in Bulgaria and I was unable to go and see them live....I'm praying they to come again
If you notice at the end where he is looking up, I see it as beseeching god to de-angel him. The guitarists on each side kneel at that point. Then the bangs commence, I guess gods answer? He dejectedly looks down and it’s over.
👏👏👏👍🤘
If you want more pyro and more of his voice I suggest live version of "Sonne" (Sun)
I've seen them this summer and Sonne is amazing live. Those flames shooting out of those pillars set throughout the field were magic.
Please have a look at the piano version of Rammstein's Mein Hertz Brennt -- Til's vocals are sublime
Welcome to the ultimate rabbit hole 🤘
The keyboardist is Flake (Flah-kuh) and he's the band's sense of humour in a lot of ways. The treadmill is quite common in live performances and he performs with a kind of mad puppet persona, and he also does a lot of skit segments during songs where there isn't a lot going on for keys. Usually he's the one to be tortured during their darker songs, like in a performance of Ich Tu Dir Weh (I think it's that song anyway) he gets into a bathtub, has a vat of lava/fireworks poured onto him, and emerges in a different outfit.
dude... spoileralert!
Watch Du Hast live in Paris. SO tight and amazing! Saw them live - NOTHING LIKE IT.
Rammstein is real culture...
This is my favorite band and the best live show you will ever see.
Rammstein always has something to say
You can even feel the heat when you are staying in the first row. 🔥
An amazing reaction! Thank you!
Please react to Rammstein- Mein Hertz Brennt (Piano Version) oficial video. You will see the vocalist power!
