You are starting to worry me a lot :))) I hope you did equip for winter fast, because even beginning of October in Old Mountain (Balkan mountain) region can be full winter with temperatures bellow 0, and snow to the throat... That tiny jacket and raincoat will not serve you anymore...

The area that these People want to claim as Macedonia is a tiny piece of the ancient Macedonian kingdom. Macedonians are ethnically Greeks and the official Macedonian language is ancient Greek. People residing in Skopje want to be called Macedonians when in reality they are of Slavic ancestry and speak a language similar to Bulgarian, these people have no relation to the Ancient Macedonian kingdom or Alexander the Great.

I had no idea it could be that cold that early in the Balkan mountain, but it's okay, I have some spare extra layers :-)
